Call me a cynic but I actually think Marvel storylines work better when the protagonist doesn’t win. Since Endgame every project has pretty much had a happy ended, minus Wandavision and Spider-Man which were arguably two of the best projects to come out of phase 4. IMO Thor, Ant-Man and Strange shouldn’t have been victorious in their last movies due to the sheer power of the antagonist. Winning just because you’re the good guy has become such a cop out and ruins the story, whereas loss can leave you with something to build on, such as this episode.
"Christine... Oh no.... I'm sorry." "Stephen.... What did you do?" "No, no, no, no, no! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" That hits me in the feels every time. 😢
The avengers was able to take the stones because they returned it to the moment it was taken so the timeline was not affected (ensuring nothing changed) Loki, to prove his theory, caused a scene in Pompeii but did not prevent its destruction, so the timeline was not affected (altering a small detail of a large event but not sufficient to affect end result) Honestly Strange could have saved Christine had he: 1. Left behind a body-double to take her place to trick the timeline into continuing like nothing was changed 2. Taking her alive in a situation where she would be part of a disaster so big she could not be found while her removal would not prevent that disaster. But for this to work, past Strange has to know she was in there and believe that she died in it
@@llamaeatingpie yes but what if we make everyone believe she's dead while taking her to the future? To the timeline it may not matter how you die, just that you cease to exist at that point, and past that point, it doesn't matter if you live or die.
To put it another way: If her "death" is the condition for a chain of events to be put to motion, then we could "remove" her from the timeline and then put her back after the intended result of those events are achieved (strange becoming who he is destined to be)
What bothers me is,if he is That powerful to even create a time paradox that destroyed his universe then why couldn't he just revived Christine? It's possible we seen it happen many times but he chose to time travel?!
Perhaps the timeline killed her again. As it was mentioned, her death is an absolute point in time. And we can see, her death did happen in different times. Sometimes by getting shot, sometimes by a car crash. So, maybe she died again and again, no matter how much he revived her.

He didn't even appear xd
@@interval5106 I know. :( It may appear in the next movie: Dark Dimension. :P
@@interval5106 he did appear.. black bolt killed him
@@eub3429 that's not him bruh....
That's a different strange that used the dark hold.
Do u actually think black bolt can kill supreme strange lol
@@interval5106 yeah that was different one... even All of the Iluminati's member can't defeat supreme strange, like...cmon dude, he's literally carrying the guardian of the multiverse and eat a whole galaxy explotion in 1 bite, dude is literally super strong
Image being so powerful that the world has to pay for your mistake.
This is The Best Episode Of What if
He should have collect all infinty stone.
Too be honest,no matter what he did,you can’t help but still feel bad for him.😢
Imagine supreme strange and darkhold corrupted scarlet witch teaming up
my annoyance was that no cosmic level entity tried to stop strange... no celestials, no abstracts, no nothing... all dead just because they... what? the history needed to happen...
That's often my question in stories such as this.
This would’ve been a great subplot for Doctor Strange 2
this was the best what if episode
He could go to the eternity and wished Cristine back to life, it could have worked without breaking the universe
This storyline was better than the multiverse movie tbh
i’ve always wondered where the living tribunal was in the middle of all this..
Well seen as there is only 1 living tribunal for the whole Marvel multiverse (comics, movies, games, etc). He probably just let it happen. The living tribunal exists to make sure that no one universe gains power over another. So a universe just destroying itself probably didn’t concern him too much
if you think about how marvels been treating the after life and realms recently i wonder if she found her heaven and he pulled her out of it so many times
That's a scary thought.
Love is indeed dangerously beautiful...
I was disappointed that this variant didn't appear in Multiverse of Madness.
The Watcher never does anything he's worthless all he does is watch events happen.
just like you

Look who tfs talking
@@mrfalcon8420 I am The Talker and that's more than The Watcher does. I am better than The Watcher. I am also more imporant to the Marvel Universe than The Watcher.

"A hero would sacrifice you for the world, whereas A villain would sacrifice the world for you."

This voice... holly fuck. This is the beast chapter in the season one of What if...?
This is what happens when you create a paradox
2:00 - oh you WILL be, Stephen...
And they say thanos is villain, what a weird people. His entire arc and his aim is betterment and somehow he's villain and these people destroying unviverses are heroes? Nice
Strange just destroyed the world because of his love
And Miles is gonna play God with his to save his dad from a possible death.
Not even human transmutation could save their mom.. he tried to bend the very fabric of reality just to be with the one his heart couldn't live without, but he ended up dying inside all alone
In reality, you could never destroy your shadow.
The only true way to succeed is to control it, to integrate it into yourself.
This ending, as horrible as it was, was perfect for this story. Marvel should never have revisited this version of Strange for the sake of their blasted multiversal brouhahas.
what if you made a mute video to prevent copyright and just the audio on a different video that you put in the description it might be a way to avoid copyright without sacrificing video quality (:
Why didn't he pull a chronon trigger and make it seem like she died so the time line is still correct
Because he... didn't think of it??
Jay : Barry, you see this, we are not god , we are man
Call me a cynic but I actually think Marvel storylines work better when the protagonist doesn’t win.
Oh no.... I'm sorry."
"Stephen.... What did you do?"
"No, no, no, no, no! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
That hits me in the feels every time. 😢
Who's here after MoM
I want to see more of this dr strange supreme
He was so depressed after failing
Wat if dr strange used 6 infinity stones
Even more powerfull strange than before, maybe he can solo Infinity Ultron ?
holy $#!t we have green time eye of agamotto, red reality eye of agamotto, and now rainbow eye of agamotto
it wasnt reality he corrupted it by destroying the universe so it turned red@@kwackmina4509
Should’ve just created his own universe.
this is the best scene,, and another fight with vision,, i fans dr strange,, he is so good actor
The avengers was able to take the stones because they returned it to the moment it was taken so the timeline was not affected (ensuring nothing changed)
Loki, to prove his theory, caused a scene in Pompeii but did not prevent its destruction, so the timeline was not affected (altering a small detail of a large event but not sufficient to affect end result)
Honestly Strange could have saved Christine had he:
1. Left behind a body-double to take her place to trick the timeline into continuing like nothing was changed
2. Taking her alive in a situation where she would be part of a disaster so big she could not be found while her removal would not prevent that disaster. But for this to work, past Strange has to know she was in there and believe that she died in it
The ancient one literally said her death was an absolute point in time that can’t be undone
@@llamaeatingpie yes but what if we make everyone believe she's dead while taking her to the future? To the timeline it may not matter how you die, just that you cease to exist at that point, and past that point, it doesn't matter if you live or die.
To put it another way:
If her "death" is the condition for a chain of events to be put to motion, then we could "remove" her from the timeline and then put her back after the intended result of those events are achieved (strange becoming who he is destined to be)
@@thecommentguy9380 prob wont work since u cant fool time
@@NippyNep you cant, but you can make pre-determined events to go the way you want
And people say that Miles Morales is right...
The best episode of What If...? (Season 1 and 2), and possibily the 3
Miguel was right
Supreme Strange and Miguel O’Hara should have a chat
Edit: Man, remember when What If had cool ideas and was an anthology series?
