I has finished all step and has attended a meet and greet . They told me waiting email after checking background. And after 1 weeks they sent me a email:” you don’t eligibility listed in the vacancy announcement. Can you tell me what eligibility for HMA ? .are these for 5 years in US and citizens? . Thanks
I have completed my fingerprint on 2/1, and was working as a PSE, had to resign and was put back into the system as rehire. Applied for window clerk pass the exam will I need to do everything all over again?

I applied 9/17 and applied to 14 ifeerent positions. I accepted the one i wanted and declined the ones I didnt. Received the email for the fast track interview on 10/15, went 10/18 for fingerprinting. Havent heard anything since. Im very worried. Scored 96 on all my tests.
Don’t be worried, just patient. They’ll get back to you with your orientation date.

So I applied for (cca) position on February 2022 received the same emails , did my finger prints and everything waiting for a date for a orientation date . Received that same email about my application being cancel but then received another one to Disregard that email . Checked on my active applications and it says ( in process , offer Phase , (ext) ) anyone know what this means , ?

I just got an email from GIS cause I applied for RCA and it showed how my driving history background check went and it says grade then a red flag, I don’t have anything on my record so what does this mean? And could it prevent me from being hired? And the post office hasn’t hit me up yet to say anything like I’m not hire or I am hired they haven’t even sent me a accept or decline email yet
Hi Brittany. Usually being (red) flagged is generally not a good thing with government jobs. However, you said that you don’t have anything on your driving record but what about your background?
The post office will not contact you outside of a final decision, which will be updated on the website when that time comes. You will see it on the website if you’re ineligible. As long as you don’t see that, regardless of what color flag is there, hang tight until told otherwise.

For the USPS job, is it mandated we get the Covid shot or do the weekly test or neither? Also, do you have to do a blood test?
As of now, there is no blood test or covid shot required for employment.

That’s because there’s a gap within your time frame. Write your addresses down on a paper and you’ll see the error that you’re making. After that, correct it. Also, it doesn’t have to be 100% accurate but there cannot be any gaps. Feel free to visit my website at BossBabeBeauty-Cosmetics.com

I did the NACI yesterday but didn’t receive any type of confirmation that they received it. Should I be worried or just wait for my fingerprint instructions?
As long as it was submitted, don’t worry about it.
I did my fingerprint today and complete d the Naci last week. After my meet and greet today/ fingerprint i got an email stating I failed to complete the SF85 which i believe was apart of the NACI that i completed. When i tried to log back on to see it said my application expired.

Hi I accept the job and I do the question the is to be done on 3 day calendar but it's been a month and USPS don't send me any other email even for the fingerprint I don't get it done yet and I don't know what's going on because everything is through email no place to call to see how is the process

I applied like December 12th 2021. Fingerprinted on like December 17th.
At the time of writing this comment, it is January 21st. Still no email for orientation. This wait is getting real frustrating. I applied for usps before so i know it takes a while hut i dont remember it taking this long. And what happened last time was they told me i didnt get the job after all that waiting. They better not do it this time. 😤
This didn't happen to me. I applied, took the assessment, passed with a 99 and have yet to here anything from them. I looked at my status and it says offer phase (EXT). Do you know what this mean?

@@3beanspls826 I understand what you’re feeling at this time with the waiting period. Don’t be discouraged because this is quite normal with the post office. Look at it this way, a lot of people are trying to get to the level where you are in the hiring process. You’ll hear something back when they are ready. Stay optimistic.

Dang that sucks they canceled the offer. Unless they had another person who scored high than you on the assessment. Did you eventually reapplied again?
USPS cancel positions all the time. It has nothing to do with someone scoring higher or lower within the passing score because they are always hiring. It worked out perfectly for me because the canceled position was paying $4 less than what I’m being paid for the same job duties and responsibilities

Hi, it’s rare to start off as a career employee with the post office, so I would say yes. You should still apply and it is worth it because you get your foot in the door. Usually, USPS employees are eligible for career positions AFTER several months or years later.
However, I started off as a career employee and it’s truly a blessing.
If I were in your position, I would not let a non career position with the USPS go to waste. At the same time, you’re free to do what you want.

I applied and completed the assessment November 12, got offered the position December 1, got my fingerprints taken December 2, got my orientation date December 23 for January 3.

I applied to narberth, pa I see you were in philly as well when you were working there, do you think i'll be working the same hours you did? I was offered the pse sales/distribution position and I really need this but I have a 3 month old daughter who would need to go into childcare and i'm trying to give the directors at whichever facility she gets enrolled in a time frame for my work schedule. I know once I start if they officially hire me it'll be hit or miss with getting her in somewhere that suites my needs immediately. any advice on the schedules and hours I would greatly appreciate!
Hi, congrats on being hired by USPS! It really depends on the station you’re going to, and if they need a lot of help. Try calling the post office to speak to the postmaster or physically going down there to find out. Tell them you’ve been hired and you want to get an idea of how many hours you’ll work. Someone there will tell you, just be nice about asking. You may work too little or too many hours, it just really depends on the station’s needs. Also, if you drive by the post office and they have a lot of trucks, this would mean they have a lot of routes that they’re running, and they need all the help. Expect to have super early mornings. Congrats on your new baby, I hope she’s doing well. Good luck with everything!

I did the background check and finger printing done last month for a cca position I failed but I got the job as a Pse sales do I need to to go through it again
It really depends on the gap in between. Since yours was very recent, you should not. Good luck!
I just got a email from them about a screening I’m not sure what that means but if I go to this screening appointment and accept it I only have 360 days I think to work or something about lack of work I’m confused I thought I was supposed to wait for orientation
The screening identifies eligible and non eligible applicants. It’s to make sure that you’re qualified for the position. Have you already done your fingerprinting or drug test (if necessary) as yet?

No, they did it for me.
I Emailed usps about the finger print appointment , never got a reply. You have five days to get the prints. So I’m just wondering will I ever be able to set a appointment up
USPS will send you an email regarding the fingerprinting time, date, and location. Once they send that email, you’ll have to reply back within those allotted/given days of the time frame that works for you.
If you did NOT receive an email telling you to choose and reply back to the same email, it’s not time to make a move.

You have to live here for at least 5 years before applying, they require it for the National background check.

Hi Anna. I’m a PTF, which is the same as a PSE. The main difference is that I’m a career employee and PSE’s are not. I also make more than PSE’s. If there’s any confusion, I’m generally a window clerk. I do like my job. I’m still learning though, I’ve only been hired for 2 months. Do I like it enough to stay in it for 20-30 years?? Noooooo!!!
I have a degree in Criminal Justice with military background so I’ll be moving on to a better paying position within the post office. This position is very physical. I’ll make a video on it very soon. Please don’t let this discourage you because what’s doesn’t work for one might work perfectly for another.

I too got hired since the beginning of 2019 as a PSE for 2 years and 3 months after converted recently this year as a window clerk. Love my new job. Soon you will love yours too 😊

@@akolove1423 Aww! Yes, everyone made a big deal about it from orientation to the post office. They said it’s a rare thing, which I am so grateful for. Due to the fact that I came in as career, there were more cons attached. The only two good things were the pay and the fact that I work a lot of hours. There’s jealousy attached to that by coworkers who feel that they had to work hard for years to become career and here I come, my first day was the “career” without the knowledge of how things worked. Couple coworkers were very impatient with me because I had to learn everything from opening up the post office to closing with all the details in between. All of this while I was in the midst of going through window training. The pressure of passing the window exam so I didn’t lose my job, dealing with coworkers who were really mean to me, and working over 50 hours weekly. It wasn’t fun at all. I constantly kept hearing “you came off the street as career and you don’t know anything.” This whole time it was jealousy because of the work they put in. Plus, my pay is not a huge difference from the regulars. Almost 3 months and I’m still dealing with being treated unfairly so only a STRONG person can deal with a those pressures slamming down on them. Generally speaking, it’s not as glamorous lol. At least, not in the first 3 months. Tomorrow will be my 3rd month.
My application went from pre-hire list to Application Entry what does this mean?
That sounds backwards but I do not work in HR so it might not be. However, I highly doubt anything is wrong here because it does not say “Ineligible.” If it helps, I’ve been hired almost 3 months ago and mine still says “Pre-hire list” as it did months ago.

I believe it’s 5 or 7 years. Do you remember when you were creating your profile and they asked you to provide all the addresses you’ve had dating back to 5/7 years? That’s how far they go back.

Were you placed on pre hire list? I took my assessment and put in a few applications. And still no word from anyone it’s been over a month and I feel like I have been ghosted lol. “Ghosted,” huh? Haha! There is no placement on the pre-hiring list. My status on the USPS website reflected “pre-hire list” but there isn’t a number associated with it. You said it’s been over a month since you took your assessment and submitted few applications. Make sure you’re checking your email multiple times a day to avoid missing their response, but I’m sure you’re doing that. Did you receive any email from them at all?
@@Positivity876 the only email I got was from one of the positions I applied for saying that it was no longer needed. But then I saw it get reposted to the website a few days later so I reapplied.
On my application process I am now on the Pre-Hire list how long before I hear anything. Today would be the 4th working day.
@@krystalscialdone1782 Congrats Krystal! Don’t pay too much attention to the “pre-hire list.” I’ve started working and on the website mine still says pre-hire list. However, it took more than a week but less than two weeks for them to send me the congrats email.
@@m_v5460 Hi Michael. Check out my other video “USPS Canceled Position” so that you’re aware of how the canceled position works.This happened to me as well. Once was just like your situation and the other was after I did the fingerprinting. Since you have not done your fingerprints as yet, it will take between 8-21 days to get a response.
Do you know how often they give raises?
Every 9 months for PSE’s, then the bigger raise is typically between 2-4 yrs. Truck drivers get two raised per year, plus cost of living periodically. Carriers also get raises, but I’m not sure how often. Nonetheless, there’s always little raises here and there for all positions so you’re constantly advancing financially.

Click the part that say “Welcome to USPS.” It’s located at the bottom of the accept/decline email.
I took my assessment but got an 88. What's the chance of getting an email from USPS for that score? And if I retake and got a lower score will that override the higher score?
The scores are kept for few years or less depending on the position. That’s as far as my knowledge goes with with that.
Your score is actually good, so don’t think any less than that.

I got my fingerprints done on July 16th it’s august 9th and I still haven’t got a start date yet
Hey, have you started yet? I did my fingerprints, and told her I didn’t need to give a two Wk’s notice, and she said I’m going to put you down for now! That was 4 Wk’s ago(July 26 and today is August 23rd) and nothing, and I declined other’s positions because I didn’t want the timeline to start all over again. So I hope you have started that would make me feel better.

It’s located on the USPS website on the tab that says “Road Map.” Sure, waiting for the email is a normal thing.
So I received a job offer and I accidentally accepted it on my phone and it says to do it on a computer. But I feel like it said at the end congratulations on accepting the offer. Do you think I’m still ok? I’m worrying myself sick over it.
I accepted mine on my phone as well. You don’t need to use a computer. Check your email to verify. You should see the congratulations email as well. Take care.

Just list what you have. There’s an option there to add that you were unemployed during whatever time frame you add. That’s not a problem. Take care.

No. They will send you an email of the available date and time for you to choose from. Applicants do NOT initiate any steps in the hiring process.
@@Positivity876 on my hiring process in order for application to be successfully completed I'm required three steps to take and last step was to take that 85 questions questionnaire which was sent from same agency as the email u shown in your video. My first step was to accept or decline the offer then they tell me to send an email to this email address or call which they don't even give me a phone number to schedule the fingerprints...

@@cynkis3194 maybe we are on the wait list to be finger printed...if we are #1 and 2 waiting to be next. Then maybe if two ppl retire or quit their job cause they don't want to be vacinnated then we will be the next two up... fingerprints all good then they HR will bring us in on board... But hoping that's not how it works ppl say we have to wait be patient and then the orientation will come follow by start date and they surely need ppl for the holiday season. 😁👏👏👏

Yes, they will reach out to you. I understand the strong desire for the process to go by quickly. However, it doesn’t work that way at the post office. You’re almost at the finish line 🏁 so breathe and take it easy.

Goodness, that’s a lot of back and forth and whatever else on your end that shifted because of the back and forth. I love the determination, that alone will keep you at the front in whatever journey/path that arise. Also, check out RCA, it’s more straightforward and based on what I know from being on the inside, it’s the better option of the two. Yes, keep pushing like you are. Your time is coming and you will get your foot in the door. Determination like what you have NEVER go to waste. Come back with the good news!
I got email for pre-screening fast track/fingerprinting today June 9, 2021 and go for group scheduled pre-screening process and fingerprints on June 10th 1-3 pm. Anytime between 1-3 pm to get in correct? What this is about? could lead to get hired with orientation date next step? Please help

Apply on usps.com website. You would need to create an account before you can apply. Then you’ll be required to give a lot of information about yourself. Like, last 5/7 years address, jobs, and references. Then you’ll go and search for positions.
Hi my application process is from pre hire list to offer phase and now turned to hiring list but still haven't received orientation letter yet but here is my question does the hiring list means I will be hired ?
Hello. You should receive your fingerprints next if you are hired. If you’ve done the fingerprints, then the orientation is next. Even after I had started working at the post office, the “Hire List” was still there. So, don’t pay too much attention to that. Good luck.

@@Positivity876 no like 3 people from each position with the highest score get invited for a interview thats why there were 12 people and only 1 from each job outta of that 3 get the job i read right from the usps page

@@Adam4rmLA The actual web site is very long and a link takes you there automatically after you login. Go to google and type “usps careers.” You will then be able to login into your portal/account with the usps.

@@leonguyen9344 Orientation is the final step, which is day one of your career path. Also, even though a new hire would start on the orientation date, your official start date is the very last pay period before your orientation date. Example, the beginning of the pay period starts on Saturdays. Let’s say a Saturday is on the 1st of any month, but you started on the 3rd. Your official start date is the 1st even though you physically started on the 3rd.

@@leonguyen9344 This might be tricky because the USPS may cancel jobs that you’re already hired for. They will ask you in the email if you need to put a two weeks notice in and they will tell you when to put the two weeks notice in. You’ll see.
