You delivered an excellent and accurate review of the Astro A30. I know, because I own it. Hurts the top of the head, makes the ears sweaty, microphone is poor, and requires a windscreen that isn’t provided. The app is glitchy on the iPhone 14 Pro. Let’s not forget that its size makes it more suitable for a teenage male rather than an adult male. Lastly, the buttons are small and cheap. I blame Logitech for this. This is not a 100% Astro headset. Logitech have chimed in on this and ruined it.

yea these are easily the worst headsets i have owned the amount of times i have thrown these off my head in a fit of rage bc of the dumb auto shutoff feature they thought was so good like why do i need to constantly move my head for them to stay on like some people play without moving and cant even leave my room without them disconnecting literally returning tmr suck bc as a kid always dreamed of having astros going to just stick to my hyper x

I have them,headband doesn't get uncomfortable for me. Ears are no worse than A50s and those were the most comfortable before I had these. Downloaded the Logitech G app, Bluetooth connected after a couple of errors on my end, and then boom. Switched the transmitter to console (instead of pc) and they work great. But if the controls were slightly bigger, only slightly they'd be perfect to me.

I have a big head and it even fits me, the app is glitchy and i see myself refreshing it constantly. I haven’t been sweaty from using them but like u said the mic is not good

is this headset better than the Razer Kaira Pro Xbox? I got the Kaira Pro for less than half the price of the a30 but haven't received it yet

I’m buying these for the looks, but if you want something that sounds nice I recommend the stealth 700 gen max 2 from turtle beach

Do you know how to reduce the amount of background noise this headset picks up it’s so bad it picks up everything

Or how to disable the internal mic I feel like the internal mic is picking up all the background noise

If you’re using xbox you can disable hearing your own mic in the settings
