I wonder what it would sound like if it were printed in resin... I'm thinking of trying the same with my dlp printer. Thanks for sharing this video!

Thanks for watching! If I had a resin printer I'd definitely try it out. That and guitar picks. Maybe one day I'll finally grab one. Haha

Thanks, my son has a used beater, that he just purchased string for and it sounded horrible after the install After further investigation the previous owner added an electronic pickup. And under the pickup there was a small section of a zip tie to raise the bridge. Zip tie is now moved back and it sounds much better. But after watching your video I am sure I can fix it for real with my own printed part. Thanks. FYI: you can also import images in the free version of fusion 360, and size the image, then draw over it. Same thing you did just a different tool.

Cool, I hope it works out. And thanks for the heads up!

the soft density of the zip tie degraded the tone qualty of the guitar. dense material and proper contact attribute to good tone and volume on acoustic instruments. more vibration=better sound

Love the video. What is the name of the song that you play at 5:50?

It's just some double-stops (dyads) I was messing around with.

how’s the intonation on it? is it holding up to the pressure of the strings?

Still holding up well. I play it almost daily.
