When Tim said, “In every way she completes me”, while looking into Nona’s eyes, my eyes watered.😢❤ It’s always inspiring to hear how couples figured things out for ‘their union.’ I think that’s the key - What works for our own individual unions.

As an occupational therapist with experience in pediatrics for over 10 years and an absolute Jesus lover, I am so so happy that you guys did not take that woman’s perspective of your child as bond. As clinicians, it is so important to have bedside manner and compassion, coupled with expertise and unfortunately, it’s truly lacking in many areas in healthcare. Shout out to you guys for standing up for your son, and believing God above all else! The interview was AMAZING and blessed me tremendously!!

    Dear Pastor Tim,
Sir you are such a magnificent picture of what a strong, masculine, intellectually sophisticated, spiritually adept, calm, in control, collected & emotionally intelligent man is. Your wisdom, poise, quiet confidence and stable demeanour are what a man was always meant to be. Thank you for showing us that the kingdom way, is still the best way in that it is still the solution to the problems that humanity faces, and not only on the marriage front. Miss Nona thank you for showing us how as women, we could be a boss without feeling the need to dress down everything masculine. You and Pst Tim exemplify that we truly are better together and we only weaken ourselves and everything connected to us when we wage war against each other instead of waging war against the true enemies such as poverty, the threat against the traditional family unit, the attack on the true church etc

What are you doing to me Mr. Whitfield!??! So…they spoke on a familiar level about difficult portions of their journey, as individuals and as a couple, AND they held up to the expectations only God has for them as individuals and as a couple. To choose to surrender and follow the leading of the Lord, even through the support of family, God honored that and is still honoring that. Wow…to hear him honor his wife and she honor him…thank you for having them!! And yes…that spiritual warfare…you need to have them back FORREAL! This was such a healing conversation 🙌🏾💛🙌🏾

I found a few parallels in their story. I was married in June 2004, diagnosed with PCOS in 2005, got pregnant in 2010 and found out on Mother’s Day. The difference is lack of commitment to covenant and team work. Now that that season is done, praying and preparing for my God-centered purpose marriage which will yield God’s multiplication and fruitfulness for our family.

This podcast was very good because it showed the things not to do when you get married. Sometimes, when God calls us, we have a tendency to take off running. Timing is so important waiting on God to see when you want me to go forth in ministry. God may call us to a work, but when to go forth is another side of the story. Important to plan your ministry according to God‘s timing because our timing may be different than God’s timing.

Listening to Laterras, I was reminded of my own testimony.
My son was born a preemie and was diagnosed with asthma at his first doctors visit. When he was in first grade he had a bad asthma attack.
Up until that point I had been told so many different things from various doctors and there were many times it felt like medicine just didn’t work so I would do my own remedies.
Well he had been battling with asthma and my at home remedies weren’t working. He was playing when started gasping for air. I didn’t realize how severe it was but I ended up taking him to ER because we had been up a long time and we were just tired.
As soon as we walked in, literally out of nowhere a team of doctors came rushing to me they grabbed him and took him to the back. I hadn’t even done intake (name, insurance info, etc). Those doctors just went to work.
And when they got him stabilized, the head doctor looked me in my eyes and said “We’re so glad you brought him in when you did”. That’s all she said but I knew exactly what that meant.
He ended up hospitalized for a week with 3 of those days in ICU on oxygen.
Today, Joshua, is a leader in every sense. He’s almost 18, going into his senior year of HS. He plays football and Lacrosse and will run track this year.
His Junior year he got a 4.0 first semester and 3.75 second semester. He has a job… and isn’t on any medication. He had zero residue from that attack.
    God truly healed him!

This was a transparent episode. This is what life looks like for mist households. Balancing the call, with the grind, and trying to ensure it doesn't cause us to negate our obligations to our family.

I have to watch in increments but Much ❤ to Nona, hope to see part 2. I love her bravery against nonsense ❤ I too had enough when GOD told me to quit apolgizing or "dumbing down "for who He made me, you can be the kindest & respectable person and haters will still try to bring you down to their size. Yep even in Church & Family. I have relate so much on how the enemy has been sending agents to assain my life since birth😢but Praise God that we were all meant to be, and the enemy doesn't have the power to cut off True Believers, we are the Miracles of Christ. This lady is who I would like to be friends with and I don't say that often. Funny I been on YouVersion for years, now I can put a face on it don't play I get my "verse of the day" guided scripture & badges, lol.😅

My God, on today! This episode was absolutely phenomenal. This couple was amazing. I can absolutely respect Mrs. Jone's rawness! The definition of character that was given in this episode was real! Character is everything!!!! I loved Nona as she spoke about how raw she was after the heartbreak. I can definitely relate, and I thank God for restoration. My, my, my🙌🏽🙌🏽

Dad was on Point In Guiding his Son when He couldn't S👀! "WISDOM SPOKE" & I'm Glad that "EVENTUALLY Tim GOT/RECEIVED IT"! Often times when we're young we can't S👀 nor "UNDERSTAND" Past the "PHYSICAL/NATURAL/THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE & WHAT WE WANT WHEN WE WANT IT"! I'm Glad that Tim was "WISE ENOUGH TO ALLOW HIS DAD TO INSPECT THE FRUIT WHEN HE DIDN'T HAVE THE VISION AT THE TIME TO DO SO HIMSELF"! Nona said: If "U" DISAGREE WITH ME THAT'S BECAUSE "U" HAVE A DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINT"! GEM: HUMILITY IS = I DON'T HAVE THE FULL PICTURE! In a "NUT SHELL" ""I AGREE"!, and to Add to what Nona said & as I like to say: We "ALL" have an "OPINION & THEY COME A DIME A DOZEN"! We can Have the "FULL PICTURE & BOTH PARTIES CAN BE RIGHT IN OUR OWN PERSPECTIVE'S, BUT LET'S LEARN TO AGREE TO DISAGREE & NOT BE ARGUMENTIVE ABOUT THE SUBJECT & RESPECT EACH OTHER'S OPINION"! BECAUSE IT'S ALL A MATTER OF HOW WE VIEW THE SUBJECT & SOMETIME WE CAN BE SO WRONG WITH OUR VIEW'(s) & In "ALL" of those Instances we need to at the least try & "UNDERSTAND" it from the other "PERSON'S PERSPECTIVE"! "PRINCIPLE'S, CHARACTER & INTEGRITY" are "TRAIT'S WORTH SEEKING" for SURE, also SOMEONE WHO CAN LEAD & HAS A VISION! You're so "RIGHT", Laterras about: "SUMITTING TO THE LEADERSHIP OF YOUR HUSBAND AS WELL AS TO THE WILL OF GOD"! My Prayer Is & has become Over the Year's: "NO MATTER WHAT THE CASE IS: NOT MY WILL LORD, but let "YOUR WILL BE DONE IN MY LIFE, OVER MY FAMILY, & THE WORLD"! GEM: SOCIAL MEDIA IS 👉AN ARTIFICIAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM NOT BASED ON REALITY!👈 CHARACTER is How far A Person will "GO" if: "THEY THOUGHT NO ONE WOULD FIND OUT"! 😂Exactly Laterras it does make "U" INQUIRE WITHIN: What would I Do??? But in my "GROWTH PROCESS" I try & Be "CONSCIOUSLY AWARE" that "GOD DWELLS ON THE INSIDE OF ME"! Although I'm not Perfect & I get it "WRONG SOMETIMES"! CHARACTER is: "YOUR PERSONAL IMPOSED CONSTRAINT'S"! AMEN! MY FAITHFULNESS TO "U" WILL BE BASED ON MY 👉REVERANCE TO GOD👈 AMEN! "A MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART & A MAN OF INTEGRITY IS WHAT I NEED"! AMEN, Sis.! TIM: GOD HAD TO GET US TO A PLACE WHERE WHEN WE SAW & MET EACH OTHER WE WERE WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR THAT WAS THE RIGHT THINGS"! PRAISE THE LORD THAT YOU'RE STILL HERE! Your Mom Story with her Bro. was similar to that of Dr. Myles Munroe's & His Sister! satan was saying yes, But God said: "NO" Just as "GOD TOLD satan CONCERNING JOB! God were "PREPARING YOUR MOTHER TO BE ATTENTIVE TO THE WHEEZING of her BRO., so that she would be KEENLY AWARE" of "U"! GLORY HALLELUJAH!🙌 God "PRESERVED "U" FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS"! The "WORD" says: 1 Corinthians 1:27
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world, to confound things which are strong. Nona, you Better say that again: "CRISIS EXPOSE'S THE CRACK'S"! MARRIAGE IS ABOUT FILLING / STANDING IN THE GAP'(s) & RISING TO THE OCCASION'(s) NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION CALLS FOR IN ORDER TO HAVE A HARMONIOUS UNION & ONE THAT IS ON ONE ACCORD" = IT'S A PARTNERSHIP"! PETTY! 😂😂😂 Really that would not have been Petty! 😂😂😂"U" would have gotten what you needed! satan Is "AFTER OUR SOUL = OUR MIND, OUR WILL & OUR EMOTION'S"(.) he "WANT'S TO BE GOD" & IF WE ALLOW OUR "EGO'S" TO RULE US WE WILL ALWAY'S "(EASE GOD OUT)" AMEN! "he's an "IMITATION" & "WILL NEVER BE GOD NO MATTER HOW HARD" he tries"! THE TEAM CONCEPT IS = KEY! "DON'T ALLOW ANYTHING THAT IS NOT BIBLICAL IN YOUR MARRIAGE IS = A KEY! I love it when Nona said that she was Morbidly Obese & she said that Tim didn't S👀 it & He Doesn't Remember it & I said to Myself: "HE SAW HER"! "HE WAS TO BUSY LOOKING AT HER HEART THAT HIS PHYSICAL EYE'S DIDN'T L👀K AT THE OUTWARD APPERANCE, BUT HE CULTIVATED HER THROUGH THAT PROCESS"! Tfs, Tim & Nona & THANK "U", Laterras FOR CREATING A SPACE WHERE THE LIGHT CAN SHINE! LIGHT = INFORMATION, KNOWLEDGE & POWER = TRUTH! And Jesus said : "UPON THAT ROCK( PETER) WILL I BUILD MY CHURCH, AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL! "YOU"! "GOD'S GUIDANCE WILL ALWAY'S LEAD US IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! AMEN! 🤗😘🙌

Nona spoke my language because after experiencing trauma, I want to be married but being vulnerable is just different, so I to say God if I am supposed to be single so be it, because a man who can cover me and my girls are truly has to be a man of integrity..
