Marriages and relationships are all special and different. What makes one person happy might not make another happy. But I've found that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years ago, my wife and I were almost divorcing because of issues in our marriage, but we managed to work things out. It was a hard time, but it made us stronger.

I get what you're saying, and I genuinely want to find happiness too. There's someone special in my life, and even though we're not together at the moment, I can't imagine life without her; I love her deeply. I hope she comes back, and I'm fully devoted to making it happen. We've tried therapy and other ways to make things right.

Saying farewell to someone you really love is never easy, but with the help of a counselor named Aurelia Maisie Goelet, my marriage stayed strong.

I truly enjoyed this episode. It reminds me of what it looks like when someone really wants to be with you. You don't have to be perfect. You can be your authentic self. You are enough .You can be a work in progress, but that person has made a choice to love you. That he or she wants you. Beautiful couple ❤❤

The grace Dre had for Bre definitely only comes from God 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
I love that Laterras pointed out that some of the preferences that Bre didn’t meet initially, Dre worked with her until she worked through those issues. Their story isn’t a fairytale but God was in it the whole time and I love that!

I've come to realize, having a father present does not always mean they are good role models for the kind of man to get with. Sometimes they indirectly teach you the opposite as was in my case. I grew up with my dad and I subconsciously adopted alot of bad habits and thought processes that I now have to unlearn because they are not conducive for a healthy relationship .

“All the things I was working on were all the things He was looking for”. Reminds me of the servant looking for Isaac’s wife at the well. I pray as women we truly grasp the best version of ourselves should be who we strive to be because she is beautiful. Then understand she is valuable in the eyes of a healed man.

    Loved how:
    - he was tempted and then got a text from Bre
    - they got each other's backs whenever they were individually thinking about their career
    - they talked about how awkward it was to have sex after 3 years of abstinence
    - they talked about pet peeves balance lol
"Ppl feel like toxic love is reciprocating the toxic you're receiving, arguing because you care and having mad sex afterwards"

The level of in depth honesty, clarity, intentional communication, and a high level of intimacy before even truly touching one another to gain something far greater than a one night of passion vs. many nights of commitment, strength, a strong marital union, grace, and love that God has extended to you both for being obedient is so evident in this union. Mr. Whitfield, the way you are able to navigate a conversation to help a couple share their testimony is phenomenal and inspiring to many. Thank you all for sharing your trials and tribulations as we all travel this journey called life. You never know who needs to hear it or heal from it.🎉 Blessings, always.

Beautiful couple. I love their journey in their love story. First, by setting standards and expectations by enduring the disappointment of their realities. I admire setting clear boundaries and holding themselves accountable to them. I admire them embracing each other journey through their transformation, demonstrating, supporting, and apape love with clear, effective communication. ( Love saw it), and God saw the effects as well. She saw the "Good In God," especially when we think our good was better. I love to see God's love is still good. He will not forget us.❤️🙏🏼

I loved this couple's story. This shows the potential danger of stifling our natural desires for too long. I'm not a fan of long engagements for this reason. The decision to live together made this more dangerous and it not only affected their sex life but even basic intimacy like kissing. I'm happy that, through counseling, they were able to come to a place where they enjoy making love, but I would not recommend what they did. It goes to show that when we attempt to do things our way, there will always be consequences to deal with. They seem to really love each other and I'm happy that God is the foundation of their relationship. I pray that they are blessed with many years together. I am praying for a man that loves God so much that he wants to please Him more than anything, so he has also committed to being abstinent till marriage. It's not an easy road, especially when you've already tasted the fruit, but I know the wedding night will be well worth it! You did a great job with this interview, Laterras! Beautiful letter! 💞❤

This is a powerful couple in the Kingdom of God. I like seeing young men who know who they are and who know how to lead with the heart of God.

These are some serious "grown-up" issues that this couple had to deal with as very young adults. OMG! The creator of the universe, God is awesome amazing and able to do his will perfectly. It is so miraculous how God, develops people in seperate spaces at the same time, then brings them together to accomplish mission, after mission, after mission. This is one of those amazaing Love stories. I'm thinking in the same apartment, in the same bed, no sex before marriage - nobody but God! Lord, I love you for your eternal teachings and your perfect plans. I love when she said, "our new hobby". Many thanks to the Smiths and Latarras for your time on this video. Jesus is the eternal Teacher, the Word, made flesh. 🙌🙌🙏🏾🙏🏾❤❤
