Super 7 Bebop is my figure of 2020. The original Playmates Bebop has always been one of my all time favorite action figures. To get a direct update of that figure was a dream come true. The size, bulk, and pose-ability of the Super 7 Bebop is something special.
Been looking at this guy since 88 but not until you mentioned some of the unpainted details in the original sculpt and seeing this new sculpt did I see the turtle bones and knee brace, etc. "I was today years old when.." moment right there
Love the video. Great attention to detail and very clear. I wish they increased the size of his weapons and gave more detail to the trash can lid. They seem scaled to the older smaller figures
I just got Tokka and Razhar today casey and ralph two pack about 3 days ago. I'm waiting on the super 7 tmnt pre-orders from Big bad toys. All these figures blow my mind! I like your channel man! 👍
I love this line. I'm an in-box collector but Bebop and Rocksteady are so awesome I bought dupes to open. I'll likely do the same for Slash. Crossing my fingers for Scumbug and Antrax.
I don’t blame you for wanting to keep these guys in box. The presentation of everything makes them look awesome. If they were cheaper, like $25 a piece I’d probably have doubles of the whole line haha. Scumbug and Antrax would be amazing. I finally completed my old Antrax and he’s an amazing figure!
@@razrentals8897 the price tag is a lot of the reason I keep them in box. But Bebop and Rocksteady have always been my favorite TMNT characters so dupes were a must. I lucked out with Antrax, my local vintage toy store had a mint, complete one that I snatched up the second I saw it. If Super 7 ever does one I'll be getting a dupe of him as well.
@@robertgray1365 that’s awesome. I took a few months to slowly build my Antrax. I bought the main guy with the nose pincers and one weapon. Then I played the waiting game haha and bought some pieces as they became available. The antennas took the longest time. I didn’t feel like spending $100 for a complete figure all at once so that’s why I spread it out. I think in the end I spent around that much. At the moment I’m working on a complete Doctor El.
@@razrentals8897 yeah, I learned my lesson with slow building trying to complete my figs from childhood. It usually ends up a lot more expensive than just purchasing a complete one from the get go. Especially considering how much vintage prices have skyrocketed in just the last few years. I've been trying to complete my Killer Bee for at least 5 years and he's only missing 2 accessories. That's the reason I jumped on that Antrax so quick, he was 100% complete for $50. The crazy part is the fig itself could've been used as sidewalk chalk and I still would've paid up but if he were missing just 1 antenna or pinscher I wouldn't have touched him. That's how much of a nightmare searching for accessories is vs finding a naked fig in good shape. Luckily, he was cherry top to bottom.
@@robertgray1365 wow $50 is a steal for him. Sometimes I get upset with my self not buying more stuff when it was cheaper haha. But then I wouldn’t have to other stuff I bought. I did really well with Nes games for a year or two before the prices became outrageous.
That would be awesome! I still need to buy the original robotic bebop and rocksteady, but I keep putting them off and they keep getting more and more expensive.
Thank you! I'm trying to get there haha. I still have like 3 more videos to post and then I have to record Tokka Rahzar and I just got Super Shredder in the mail. So much TMNT stuff all at once.
Great review! This figure's incredible! The only possible downside is the small accessories, but I'm betting that was done because of cost. The size of this guy and all the detailed paint hits must have made him way more expensive to produce than the others in the line so far! Muckman and Leatherhead are supposed to be pretty gigantic as well. I can't wait to get them!
@@razrentals8897 Yeah, Slash looked massive! I was a bit confused on the scale too, though--Scratch seems to be about Shredder's height (the equivalent of 6'), while Ace and Slash are closer to the Turtles' height. Seems like they should be a tad taller.
@@razrentals8897 As far as I know, Scratch was around the same scale as the other figures in the original line. He looks to be about the size of Shredder here, which sounds about right--I think the issue is Slash and Ace being a tad too short.
@@AutomaTom1939 yeah Slash could definitely be taller, but at least he’s got the bulk. I was worried they’d just take a turtle body and stick a slash head on it.
29:17 - I'd use hair dryer to heat the hand up, and the handle will fit pretty easily. Or you could take a glass with a handle and boil some water in the microwave, then put the hand in there for a handful of seconds. Just easier to use a hair dryer if you have one handy.
The one Playmates put out? No I sold mine right before Neca announced their cartoon bebop and rocksteady. I even flipped the calves on rocksteady so that they were correct, but I decided to let them go. I may hunt down a pair again sometime.
I ordered them through Super7. Has BBTS at least charged you yet because they’re getting their stock soon or are they still waiting? I love BBTS, but sometimes the extra waiting kills me haha. It’s like you’ll see other people finding things in the wild or things will pop up on amazon and you’re just hoping that they’ll send you a message saying “we just charged you, we expect our stock soon”. Speaking of amazon. I saw the wave two ultimates on there for $60 a piece (bebop $70) all with free amazon prime shipping. So you could potentially get them quicker, but you’re paying more.
If u ever decide not want to keep the boxes just let me know. I do collect boxes. If u decide to please let me know and take good care of the boxes. I can someday use them for my future public collectors museum I'm wanting to start. I'm a artist and I see every box as art work

I honestly never understood the pinkness around bebop’s face. I also never knew how huge they were compared to the turtles and neca figures
They made a nice looking figure
I always thought the skull on his necklace was a rat.
Ohhh that makes sense!
This is fourhorsemen unleashed. They were pretty held back during their Mattel motuc days.
Nice reviews.
Thank you!
I honestly found him shredder and rocksteady on Amazon for under 50 bucks this week March 23, 2022
The picture on the back is just probably a symbol of his kann
