I kinda wish Gumiho would put his sacrificial starport techlab where it would block the base from getting built, just for that little bit of extra "screw you."

Given how large battlecruisers are, I fail to see how they can be sneaky. I'll have to watch more to see how this plays out, but I'm going in with deep and severe skepticism.

I think GuMiHo passed up an opportunity in one of the games: if you proxy a Terran building near an enemy expansion site, I think you want to position it such that (a) the building itself overlaps with the optimal Hatchery position, and (b) any add-on you build also overlaps with the optimal Hatchery position.
That way, if you choose to build the add-on for proxy reasons and later abandon it, you get off a Hatchery block at no additional cost. And if you don't, you at least block the Hatchery while your building is there.
[There may be benefits to other positioning schemes. Weigh everything off, it depends, think for yourself, etc., but I think this principle might be a good default.]
3rd hatcherie happens so early, before starport tech is reached. Lets say that delaying the drone from building the 3rd base, and starport is dropped, then zerg will build it Somewhere else.
So a little bit of delay on zerg side, for a massive scout + risk of getting starport destroyed on terran.
I'd say not worth for terran
@@PaulBayard I think you might be talking about proxy vs. no proxy. I'm talking about proxy one square to the left vs. one square to the right. Did that clear anything up?
I know it's very minor, but great transitions between the games. Would be a nice touch to also have the winning players victory screen fade out to the same player as the next game starts

I love how Lowko just always has to check those pauses. Its always nothing, but one day, im sure when he does not check it, it will be something of the sort: need a brake, my cat jumped on the cooker, which was cooking an umami broth for 10hrs, spilled it; cat's tail is on fire and she is running around the apartment. Floor - umami. Girlfriend also just opened the door of my room in her bathing suit asking me to give her bath.... 3.2.1 OK im ready, go.

I liked the fourth game played for the unorthodox mixed strategy by the zerg. It can force your opponent to split attention between your different comps, I feel, and while not a perfect strategy it can throw your enemy off guard.

Heh, when you say things in dutch I catch (understand) parts of it. My fiance is from The Netherlands and sometimes will switch to dutch when talking and I am like wha wha wha? Slowly learning it. Enjoy the casts. I missed playing this game and watching these made me install the entire series to at least play the story missions again. I suck at MP.
It is sad that this video has less viewership because of how much time and work put into it. This is good casting for some super interesting solid games. GGWP got a lot of good tips for my TvZ
I laughed when the Battlecruiser and Corruptors simply flew past each other. And then again when the Cyclones wiped out the Corruptors for free (well, I guess they got the Armory, but still...).

That first match was hilarious, not least because it forced Lowko to eat his words a little. Most of the time Lowko is saying, "Why don't more terran players build ravens, man?" This time, GuMiho builds a raven and Lowko is all, "What the hell are you doing, man?!" Can't win. XD

Hey LokowTV this is my first time watching you and its just been so cool watching you play this game I was meaning to ask if starcraft 2 worth playing playing in 2021 i really want to get into the game even though that am like 10 years to late because during the release of starcraft 2 I was 6 years old at the time so I was not completely into games but I did saw the trailer when it first came out and I thought it was so cool but I did not understand computer games at the time because I was 6 years old so but am now planing on getting a PC and I really want to get into starcraft 2 so I was just asking or if anybody else can tell me if its still worth playing in 2021.

Aligulac would probably be a nice place to start. There's tons of stats on players, tournaments....etc

About the no-build plate at the bottom of the ramp... Does it actually impact anything? I've never seen anyone build something there.
Before it was introduced in wol you could cheese zerg as protoss by building a 3 pylon wall at the bottom of the ramp before they could build a hatch. They patched that kinda quickly as it was really stupid and unfair to play against, because by the time you broke out of there you were already significantly behind if your Opponent played his cards the right way

Do you think that Olimoley might be pronounced like "Holy Moly"? I just had that idea when I realized that the name comes from "Olivia" so it kind of sounds like someone nicknamed "Oli" would pick a nickname that rhymes and sounds like a neat phrase.
