Polt's always been a class player. In all aspects. Having good sportsmanship is definitely a quality he's known for.
These guys are so fast and precise while dealing with 5 or more scenarios at the same time ... I've played Starcraft games for over 10 years, but no matter how hard I try, I could never reach this level ...
What a final!!! Polt pouring it on amazingly. Looks to be just unstoppable. Snute showing he has what it takes to compete for a world championship. Nate and Rotti casting with perfection. And a classy show of sportsmanship and respect at the end. Well done to all.

+johnny roe So much has changed from HoTS to LoTV. It's very unorthodox to execute build orders that used to be meta on previous versions on such a grand stage such as IEM. Especially because normally they wouldn't even work the same way, especially with the timing changes to the game itself. An example would be Game 1 when Polt tried the mass Hellion Rush! It failed because Snute had already (Luckily) had Roaches already in production.

Polt is amazing. Absolutely my favorite SC2 player after Maru. Would be interesting to see a Polt - Maru, of course.

This was a circuit tournament so foreign based players only. None of the top Koreans.
Polt and Hydra are Korean but they were based on teams in the USA.

I started playing StarCraft II a 3 days ago and finish the entire series! To think I've never played this game so big and well-made. And after watching SCII Tournaments these dudes are really amazing multiple squad commands, multiple skill use, incredible map awareness, micro and macro gameplay everything is just enthralling to watch!

no... 1 vs 1 umm... sometimes 2vs2 or 4 vs 4 and the latter is most faster. I'm not bad to play, but there's always best in Asia. I won a German, Mexican, Spanish, but not Korean and Japanese.
Not feeling confident to go for ling/bane muta hurt Snute a lot in this final. He was to predictable.
Its 2016, please have the game recorded in at least 1080p if not 2160p.
Polt is one of my favourite players, always a class act.

I straight up just can’t believe the skill difference that has emerged over the course of legacy of the void. A masters player, I would bet, would most likely be able to go toe to toe with these players and that is because legacy of the void has been mapped out to such a larger degree and the skill of the player base has increased a ton.

Polt the best Terran I have seen to date 2023/2024.
The Snute Norwegian is one of the best Zerg I've seen to date and this is one of the best finals.
These two were real players. They did not give up on the first lost confrontations and stood as hard as they could, show and pure professionalism.

No sé por qué, pero yo quería que ganara 'Snute' aunque normalmente siempre suelo a apoyar a los terrán. :-) Es una pena que solo vea y no entienda porque todo está solo en inglés, pero igual, los quiero, somos como una familia que ama StarCraft aunque nos separen los continentes.

dee dollar Snute is very very good, I'm pretty sure that with less stress he could nail it
+eddrdr I agree. He didn't loose because of the lack of high level skills. He lost most games because he forgot scouting with his overlord/lings and therefor often had the wrong unit composition or not enough units.

i wonder why snute didnt even once mix in zerglings/banelings into his army since nowaday you will always do it as support for your roach/ravager. i think you wouldnt just max roach/ravager today but maybe it depends on the meta.
Question. Why are there so few koreans? is it because foreigners players have been getting so much better taht there are more non korean pro players? or is it just that few koreans were invited to this tournament?
+Lord Scorpion There is a new rules for wcs. All Korean -pro need to live outside Korea to compete in outside Korea. which is why most of them move back to Korea. That rule apply to WCS last year but I think IEM and WCS are combine this year. Yea so only apply to anyone outside Korea.
