In the Red Alert Universe, Einstein was pivotal to the Allies and the technology that progressed in that alternate era. On the other hand, Yuri and the Soviets had their Industrialism efficiancy and Mind Control. I hope they really touch Red Alert 2, because even though it's an old game, it still holds up to this day.
Red Alert 3 originates my favorite George takei meme. "You are made of stupid."

Another Fun Fact with the C&C Franchise. In Tiberian Sun, Westwood Studios (which was eventually acquired and liquidated by EA) had James Earl Jones to act as a General in the GDI campaign.

I would also like to add that the killing the other person via time travel was first made by Einstein. He went back in time and killed Hitler, with a handshake as well. This is how the Red Alert universe came to be.

6:30 Red Alert 3 comes as an alternate timeline where World War 2 was fought by the Allies against the Soviet Union, because Einstein created a Time Machine and killed Hitler before he gained power. In Red Alert 2 Einstein provides the Allied cause advanced weapons like Prism Technology, Chrono Technology, Mirage Tech, Weather Controlling Tech all the fun stuff and it was because of this that the Allies were able to win in Red Alert 2, so that's why he was targeted in Red Alert 3

6:20 in Red Alert Einstein is the dude that made the chronosphere and if im remembering correctly he was also the dude that made a lot of the more advanced tech used by the allies, so ingame lore it makes sense that the death of einstein makes such a difference.

So, when he mentioned mods for Red Alert 3, there is one I've been keeping an eye on called "Corona" (as in the sun, they released the early versions of it before the pandemic) Where they added in a brand new faction, overhauled all of the factions with brand new units with interesting counterplay. For instance, there are "light fighters", "interceptors", and "bombers" for like, the allies and soviets. Fighters beat interceptors, Interceptors beat Bombers, and Bombers have gunners to defend themselves from basic fighters. The Chinese faction they added is kind of sick as they have toggable abilities that require power in order to maintain

The part about voice lines of units being important, you will probably know about Goblin Zeppelins from Warcraft 3. After 15 years since I played that game, in the meantime, I forgot it, suddenly that god damn voice line of Goblin Zeppelins going batshit insane made me remember Warcraft 3. Not to mention Alliance's mortar teams that just straight up yell "MORTARRRRRRR KOMBAT!" once they are produced. Not only that but if you repeatedly are clicking on the units, they will spout some lines you will not expect. Besides the story I always enjoyed of Warcraft 3, the most memorable thing about that game are definitely voice lines, at least for me

The problem is not finding good games nowadays, the problem is finding good Real-Time-Strategy games. This genre has been forgotten and left to die because games of this type are not as profitable as FPS, MOBA's, MMO's, not to mention some of the biggest in MOBA and MMO started as RTS games (Dota 2 and Warcraft). During 1990's up to 2010 had the biggest explosion of good RTS games Age of Empires, Empire Earth, Earth 2140/2150/2160, Dawn of War 1, Supreme Commander, Command and Conquer Series, Starcraft, Warcraft, Star Wars: Empire at War, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, Stronghold Series, Homeworld. Most of these series are kept alive and continuously improved by dedicated fans who have kept them afloat making mods that feel more like full on Expansions (not DLC'S).
So yeah good RTS games are like finding water in the desert.

The insane thing about the Manhattan Project was just how many once-in-a-lifetime type geniuses were part of it. Even if the Russians has assassinated Oppenheimer, the US still had people like Fermi, and Teller, who were more than capable of leading the project. It was actually a good thing that neither Fermi, nor Teller ever got the opportunity to lead the project, because neither of them had any qualms about advancing US aims in nuclear weapon development. Teller in particular was probably a certified psycho despite his undeniable genius. Oppenheimer ended up basically being the conscience of the project.

Red Alert 3 is pure ham 'n' cheese insanity and I love it. But as much as I love the game, it's predecessor Red Alert 2 and it's expansion Yuri's Revenge are the best of the trilogy in my opinion.

The silly thing is that Einstein was one of the most important figures in the (ingame!) Allies technological superiourity, but because he was the mastermind behind the Chronosphere (the Allied time machine) which let the Allies just teleport stuff around and which the Allies pointedly still have in Red Alert 3 *shrugs* ...
Save to say the writers for Red Alert 3 just went ape mode. It gave us one of the most memeable game of recent time, but it's not exactly a masterclass of consistency.

Helicopters in the C&C series(maybe in most RTS games) were always worth spamming. Hammerheads in KW loaded with Missile Squads(Ready for Combat) was usually my go to strategy with GDI. It’s definitely why they made the Aircraft structures available only after you built up a whole base.

6:20 i wouldn't say that Einstein opposed the creation of nuclear bomb as he did write to Roosevelt suggesting that the United States research atomic weapons before the Germans managed to create one. He later apparently regretted it saying: "had I known that the Germans would not succeed in developing an atomic bomb, I would have done nothing."

18:30 Yeah its an issue of RA3 and Generals, enemy is massively overwhelming in such missions and they focus in killing your economy with overwhelming numbers and have an even more massive army idling on their base in case you just hit their structures and go marching towards your base afterwards if you wanted a tactical approach. To the point the most viable strategy, though a boring one for some players is turtle up and hold until you boom economically after 30 minutes and then steamroll them like it was an AoE 2 campaign for a casual player or make some cheese strategy with a mass quick air rush or capturing buildings, like the map was designed to be a long siege and you just hold out until you build a massive army deathball to push.
We won't see like dramatic and skill intensive storytold campaign approaches until Battle for Middle Earth 1 is introduced, the game that started that format of campaign missions that later games like Starcraft 2, Supreme Commander and Age of Empires IV like as an approach.

To be fair the most balanced RTS in the world, Star Craft 2, still has these rather straightforward tactics like Cannon Rushing, that are relatively easy to learn, but take a lot more skill to defend against than to execute.
I think maybe terror drone spam or twinblade rushes are of a similar nature, but since there are a lot less RA3 players and their average skill level is lower, few know how to deal with it.

Yeah... the RA3 devs really needed to research their history. Both real and fictional history. Given that time travel was developed in the main RA timeline by Einstein in his later years, his removal from time would have likely erased the technology itself. Additionally, in the main RA timeline, it was the USSR that developed nuclear weapons, without the aid of Einstein. He was working on the Iron Curtain technology... which would have also more than likely found itself erased.
My grievances aside, RA3 was great fun just for the cheese factor. And that is speaking as a person who loved RA1.
