Note- I forgot to mention I am running the zero degree transducer mount. I recommend anyone that has the transducer mounted on a pole to do the same, it makes it a lot easier to be able to cast your lure exactly where you want it.
The transducer kit comes standard with an 8 degree mount (it did when I got it). The idea of the 8 degree mount is so the beam would miss the electric motor when mounted on the electric motor shaft. You can order the 0 degree mount direct from Garmin AU.
Cheers Dan, did what you mentioned and now Target fish confidently. Little tweaks here and there pending where I’m fishing and water clarity I notice makes a real difference. Thanks Dan! 👍some great footage of Lure getting crunched!
@@DanWebberFishing it sure is mate, the detail I’m seeing now, in perspective mode is a hell of a lot better, but as you’ve found, forward view is a lot better to find and follow the fish on a snag or in a hole moving about. Thanks again mate
Hello Dan still trying to save money to get my livescope but it's been a minute since I last asked you questions about the unit. Since then have you upgraded to a newer or different unit and size. Thanks again for helping us and like always for the content you bring to us.
Great Vid, definitely learned how to set up my Garmin Ultra HD’s. Makes sense that’s for sure using the TD in forward position. I’ve used the Panoramic view and have it showing well on the screen. One question is the LS34 a huge step up from the LS32?
Great stuff, I havn't had much of a play with perspective view. I probably should give it another run, I find it doesn't suit my fishing style very well. There is a bit of difference, its a clearer image with a bit more depth to the image, its got a bit more of a 3d feel to the image. Having said that being able to dial in which ever transducer you have is of far greater importance.
With your transducer pole being on the right I'm just wondering if your right handed or left. Do you cast with your right or left. I'm just in the process of mounting my pole and I'm wondering what is best ?
@@DanWebberFishing yeah I noticed mine was cracked about a month after installing the new transducer, I've spoken to a few other blokes aswell and the same thing has happened, must be a common problem
I don’t know what speed I’d be doing but as long as I give the ram a good tighten up when I drop it in I can go flat out with the electric without any trouble, that’s as fast as I’ve tried it.
It’s not absolutely critical as long as you keep in mind it can affect where the beam is shooting a little. What ever tilt you have in the pole will tilt the beam angle, so if you are pointing at a target that is 15 metres from the boat and 5 metres down and make a cast, you may see it hit the water on your screen but then it may fade out of the shot as it sinks. Or the opposite may happen where you may not see your lure at first and then it will come into the shot as it sinks because it enters the beam. The beam angle is fairly narrow so the more you can do to increase the accuracy the better, which is why I also run the 0 degree mount. I hope that makes sense.

Not sure what I have, just going through install. Just got the 8412 and lvs34

Excellent mate, well done. It’s amazing what we get to see with this amazing tech. 🎣

Thanks for taking the time to produce this, great info and well presented.
Thank you, hopefully it will help others to shorten the learning curve a little.
Another great video Dan.
Thanks Adam, good to hear from you. 👍🎣
Great vid Dan really helpful just got the love scope and was struggling a little bit so thank you
Great stuff, good to hear this will be helpful
Great content very informative.

Great vid Dan what length pole are you running I got similar hull and am in the market for a pole
Thanks Cody, end to end is 1620mm

Good work mate heaps of info in that was that a 1oz spinnerbait you trolled?
2oz double barrel ( side by side Colorado blades) spinnerbait
Whats ya fav tucker to have out on the water mate ?
I keep it pretty simple, usually just a bit of cold meat on a wrap with a bit of cheese and salad
With your transducer pole being on the right I'm just wondering if your right handed or left.

I am right handed with a right hand wind, I cast left or right
@@DanWebberFishing thxs for your reply and help
Cheers for the clip mate. Do you find the new transducer a massive step up?
It’s not a massive difference, it’s far more important to know how to get the best out of your unit and then work on the techniques to get the bites.
Another great video mate 👍
Just wondering if you have had any issues with the lvs34 transducer knobs cracking?
I hadn’t noticed until I shot this clip but yeah mine is cracked, will have to look into it. I’m guessing you have had trouble?
@@DanWebberFishing yeah I noticed mine was cracked about a month after installing the new transducer, I've spoken to a few other blokes aswell and the same thing has happened, must be a common problem
Gday Dan, how fast can you go with the transducer still in the water?
I don’t know what speed I’d be doing but as long as I give the ram a good tighten up when I drop it in I can go flat out with the electric without any trouble, that’s as fast as I’ve tried it.
How critical is having you pole perfectly vertical when using ?
It’s not absolutely critical as long as you keep in mind it can affect where the beam is shooting a little. I hope that makes sense.
why is it important to keep the transducer wire separate??
It’s best to keep them seperate to avoid any potential interference from the electrical cables messing up your image
