Hey man, I have had my lvs34 for a little over a year now, and I’m from North Dakota, so I mainly ice fish with it. I also did put it on my boat this summer. That is an issue with me on my current units. Thanks excellent work.....
Is it because it’s been 2 years or is it because you when a uhd2 or update today. It’s 2024 I bought 2 106sv and some for Jose setting I don’t have on mine?
Great video...I noticed your Garmin says 13.2 volts. Mine always starts off on 12.2...do you by chance have your screen hooked up to the dewalt 20v?...I have my black box on the dewalt setup. But my screen is powered by one of my trolling motor batteries.

I wanted to ask you . If you have trouble catching fish when the corp engineer let water out of the big lakes!! I have little luck on top when they let water out! Just curious?
Not really. It scatters the fish some but I can usually always pin them down and catch them pretty well. Keeps the potlickers I have to deal with everyday scattered too.
H E L P! You've done some great video's from catching crappie/fish and finding them, using a fish finder. I need to semi future proof my setup to be, because I'm retired and don't want to upgrade for a long time if possible. My dilemma is I'm new (read never fished freshwater that much) but have decided to get proficient at it. Last Spring I bought the Garmin 93SV with the GT54 transducer. The GT56 was around $500 more but now can be had for $374. Should I upgrade the trans and get another 93SV(Ultra 106 is twice as much) and get the PanOptix LVS34 or splurge for a decent trolling motor with I-Pilot, which doesn't communicate with the Garmin units or a ProNav add-on? Anybody have any suggestions? Congrats on your marriage!
@@KansasAnglingExperience Love ya and watching your latest. Any info would be greatly appreciated.. when I call Garmin tech support they tell me to watch youtube for help.. lmao
Do you think I can power the forward facing system with my trolling motor batteries and be ok? (I have 2-12V batteries in parallel) or would there be some interference with the graph and transducer?
I’ve been having the 32 since it came out and I’ve gotten quite good with it. I’d say the 34 is better but it’s not super drastic. It’s probably 25-30% better tops. I’ve gotten very similar images with my 32 and a shitty display lol
Calibrating the compass and AHRS are two different things, I misspoke on that part. AHRS should be on or on auto. The Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) stabilizes Panoptix sonar views on the chartplotter screen even under rough conditions. AHRS also accounts for the transducer's orientation to show the correct sonar view, such as Forward, Down, or Perspective mode.
