My man! Captain mentioned taxiway J crossing 04L hotspot as a threat. Little did he knew that half a year later some AAL captain failed to brief properly and almost caused the biggest accident in US history.
Hi Miro, Appreciate the feedback. I don't think it was missed. Based on the new technique where only the relevant/out of the ordinary is briefed, it is not to be included. Unless, we are taking off with a 'Departure Alternate' required or there is a very likely chance of a return or diversion. Return/Diversion could be included if the departure posses a significant threat, that is otherwise not common e.g. mountains etc.. Remember, ONLY things that are 'non-standard' are briefed at this point. We would have discussed potential return/diversion in the crew room. I agree that in the old briefing it would have been included for sure, but with it always being included we run the risk of it becoming ''standard'' and not something we pay too much attention to. I hope this helps. Don't forget to check out the Academy where you'll find the full theoretical A320 type rating course. We offer both complete Full TR and Refresher. www.MindspaceX.com/Aviation

Intentions = correct on the NITS slide, it’s misspelled 😉👍🏼
Thanks a lot! Did not catch that before it went out :-)
I maxed out windows volume, youtube volume and physical volume on my laptop and can't really hear...
I agree, very low volume!
Thanks a lot for your feedback. We need this! We are working on upgrading the clip(s) to reflect awesome sound without distorting the quality.
We have edited the video and uploaded it again with improved sound. Check it out th-cam.com/video/PdIWartIIW4/w-d-xo.html
It's funny that they missed a "Return / Diversion" step of the departure brief in a presentational video like this... 😄
