I turn off at 500 ft. So it gives me time to flare it nicely.
Good tip. Thanks for watching 😊
Good landing. Try flaring the nose up a little just before the main wheels touch the runway next time.
Yeah wasn’t my finest attempt haha. Thanks for watching
thank you this was so helpful I've subbed
Wait,,, Landing in Aus..... do i do that upside down?? ... Asking for a mate...
@@justinblathwayt3809 you do. Unlike the US/Europe where the PAPI lights are 2 white 2 red, we have 4 kangaroos
thanks for the tips helped me a lot
No worries at all, thanks for watching
How to crash your plane on landing?
Mission accomplished 😎
your landing is hilarious LOL. thank you for making me smile
Haha glad you enjoyed it 😎
Extremely helpful. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching mate 😊
Would have been better with full flaps and on RWY34
Very helpful video, thanks partner!
Glad to hear it was useful! Thanks for watching mate 👍
Great video. Now I know how the ILS system works without having to nerd out and get stuff like ILS landing chart, etc.
I will try this out!
Let us know how you go! Glad it was helpful mate.
Excellent tutorial.. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I thought that you had to be at 3000 ft to catch the ILS signal. Guess I was wrong... 10000 ft seems to work as well. Thanks for explaining 🙂
@@michaeltilstdk the ILS plate will tell you what height you need to be at. You’re not wrong that 3,000ft above ground level is a good height to aim at. Thanks for watching
@@_gamerdb2300 Turns out that MFS didn’t enter the ILS frequens into the Flight computer - the runway data was ok. Entering the ILS frequens myself solved the problem :-)
@@michaeltilstdk nice work mate!
As i know u should not land with 180 kt you need to be between 125-140
@@hkvinsomnia yeah let’s just say I’ve improved a wee bit since I filmed this haha. The landing itself is shocking 😆
Hard landing, but good video. Thanks.
Yeah it’s not my greatest by a long shot, but glad it was useful! 😊
So glad it's from someone who's an american rather than from the UK.
Hate to say but I’m not from the US. Appreciate you watching anyway 😎
are you american?@@_gamerdb2300
Na, I’m from Australia.
Ooooh, I listened again. Lol. @@_gamerdb2300
Butter landing
Hello! First, thank you for your video. Very informative for me. But, I have a question for you. For example, if I set the altitude to 10,000 feet, the plane never maintains that altitude. It always goes over. How do I set it? I use autopilot. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, glad it was helpful! When you say it goes over, is it only by a little bit? If so, make sure that you’re setting your baro pressure to standard. This is done at different heights depending where you are flying. EG. in Australia it’s done at 10,000ft in the US it’s 18,000 and in a lot of Europe it’s 6,000ft
@@_gamerdb2300 No, is not a little bit. I setting the baro pressure. Did you configure the MCDU in the video or not?
@@peterzsilka4750 yeah I would have done. Been a long time since I’ve flown the a320, but if I remember correctly you dial in the alt you want and then right click the mouse to submit and put it in to managed mode.
Thank you very much for your help :)
No worries! Thanks for watching 😊
lovely video, very wholesome :)
Ha thanks mate 😊
Good video cheers mate 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching mate 😊
Thank you soo much!
No worries at all! Thanks for watching 😊
Strait to the point
Hope it was useful! Thanks for watching
@@_gamerdb2300 I was strugling with teh Autopilot (how it works, how to enable it) as well as with landing. I watched hundreds of video (usually 1 hour long) but not so effective as this one. Cheers
Should take off auto pilot at 300, set to idle, then it’s all you.
Thank you and add an option to tip you!
@@johnreder8167 no worries! Glad you found it useful. Thanks for watching 😊
12:23 Ryanair wants your contact
I’m ready coach, send me in!
@@_gamerdb2300 btw do you have a video on using an FMC display? Like configuring flight plans, changing routes etc.? Would be nice, because I always get some not so friendly comments on vatsim controllers lol.
@@MenschGusti I don’t have anything aside from this one that I made. There’s a bloke who does fantastic tutorials, 320 sim pilot, I’m certain he’s got a tutorial that’ll be exactly what you’re looking for
Was useful. Your mic could be slightly better, but good enough. Cheers from France
and nice landing, tho ^^
Sorry for the quietness but glad it was still useful :) Thanks for watching
thank you
No worries mate! Thanks for watching.
Cheers for this buddy, it really helped me out 👍
That's awesome! Glad it helped and thanks for watching :)
u want to be at 140 kts at touchdown not 180
Yeah fair to say I’ve learnt a fair amount since I filmed this 😆
@@_gamerdb2300 Np i really enjoy your videos
@@wowoking2 very kind of you mate 👍
But shouldn't you follow whichever active runway at the destination airport. I know its a game, but unrealistic to just pick any runway you want lol.
100% this was more just to cover off how to set up a flight plan to use ILS and to get it working, but you’re right.
@@_gamerdb2300I got you mate. im new to mfs2020. Can you make video using ILS with atc?
@@KingzleyATM I’m hoping to make a video on the PMDG737 for XBOX shortly which will have a bit on that.

I would trust you on a flight to Melbourne
as long as I’m in the passenger seats?
Just don't forget to call in 'mayday' when landing 190knt in real life ;D
@@m1k4c or how about “make my day” 😎
I can never bring the diamonds on view
You’ve got the frequency set for the airport/ runway you’re landing at?
Man your final short approach speed was 190 knots ............ And for An A320 it is very high ........... Hope u will improve this
Yeah I now aim for 140 knots. Seems to work a lot better. Thanks for watching!

Horrible landing bro. Thanks for the ils info tho
😆 no worries!
You left out about 10 plus steps 👎
Happy to be shown those steps. I’m just showing what works for me in game.
@@_gamerdb2300 He might be referring to the stuff you have to input into the MCDU such as ATIS info like pressure, temp, etc. I'm not sure any of that makes a difference, though. This video shows the meat of what you want: capturing the glideslope using ILS.
@@FrostByte_AC fair enough! Thanks for watching mate 👍
One the best video’s out there on how to use ILS. Thank you so much🛬✈️🛩🛫
That’s insanely kind of you mate, really appreciate it and glad you found it useful 😊
The ILS explanation was good and helpful. But the landing itself was kind of Ryanair. :D
