The Black Templars combat patrol is almost universally loved by the Black Templar player base. It’s an amazing start to an army. Intercessors for sticky objectives, crusaders for good battle line and an impulsor to transport sword brethren when you inevitably get those too.
My 4 Ideas: Grey Knights: Your guess is the Boarding Patrol, if I'm not wrong. Looking at the Sisters with a similar turnout my guess will be that one of the Strike Squats will be changed with something new. And maybe Voldus (is a bit cheaper) or an upcoming new Brother Captain instead of Crowe - if not a new Draigo. Black Templars: The Champion or still the Marshal (but with the axe in the box art this time) or Valrak finally gets the Black Templar Ancient. The Cursader Squats is just set in stone I guess. Still 5 Intercessors (maybe Assault as you argued, maybe Jump Assault to troll everyone) to have a reason for the upgrade sprue. Then I would like one Sword Brethren Squat but Bladeguard Veterans are also a possibility (GW will still sell Sword Brethren if they put Bladeguard Veterans in, while Bladeguard Veterans are the cheaper kit and less models to not overwhelm newcomers with hordes of models to paint). Also Aggressors are an option instead of Sword Brethren (looking at Brother Burchard from the Tacticus mobile game). Imperial Knights: 4 Armigers/Warglaives or 2 Armigers/Warglaives and something new - just something like the Mancrusher Mob in AoS. Space Wolves: Just something with range refresh stuff, like the BA CP was. Perhaps a new Rune Priest, some kind of Intercessors (10 to 15, 5 to 10 Normal/Assault + 5 Phobos) that make use of 2 upgrade sprues and some new Wulfen (3? 6?).
Tyranids & Thousand Sons Tomorrow!
Would you guys be interested in a Titus datasheet analysis video?
Yes to the Titus datasheet analysis! I'm really enjoying your thoughts on the Grotmas detachments.
We need a new combat patrol with only 40 Tzangors snd nothing more to the thousand sons
You forgot Space Wolves!
They are chaos. Lol

Named character in a Combat Patrol is never a good idea
discourages repeat purchases that's for sure.
I'm buying Dark Angels and Black Templars models for Grey Knight proxies right now lol

My expectation: They will all be awful compared to AoS Spearhead.
