There is a reason Walmart did that associate to driver program because they know nobody wants to drive for a dictator, and for the people that say all they’re “jealous because they’re not qualified to be a driver for Walmart or they can’t walk through there doors lol”, you do realize they made it way easier to get in and on-boarding back than you had to do a three step in person interview then get a valuated by two senior drivers and basically say every part like you were building the truck on your pre-trip inspection and be able to drive a manual transmission perfect so it’s not about a jealousy issue. Stop living in the past, bud. You sound like a grumpy old codger sitting in his porch rocking chair, complaining about everything, and longing for "the good ol days".
I didn't drive for Walmart back then, so I have no opinion on that. However, in TODAY'S global
economy, all companies are forced to either make changes or go under. Regardless of how it used to be, Walmart beats most other comparable positions in pay, culture, duties, etc. It isn't the early 2000s anymore. It's 2024, and Walmart is STILL one of the best companies to drive for.
So one can complain and moan about how it ain't like it used to be, or they can get with the times and move forward with a company that still values and compensates their drivers fairly.
You are free to choose.
@@getrichwalmart exactly! you have no opinion on that matter cause you don’t know it’s not get with “times” it’s facts sorry you don’t want to hear it and have horse blinders on, but when you say on your video’s how “nobody can make it or there jealous” blah blah bud they made it easy for the newcomers, so stop gas lighting people to make them feel special. It’s a business/job and yes things change so as everything else in the economy.
That’s why these “Walmart driver gurus on TH-cam” act like everything is peaches and cream, and don’t really talk about the real policy and procedures at Walmart, just about how wonderful it is.
Yeah this “grumpy old man” as you said I’ll enjoy my retirement 34 year 3.6 million accidents free miles there.😃
@@vikingguy2434 nothing you said addressed any of the points I made. In fact, you simply reinforced them.
Anybody can bring up things that were better back in the old days. This won't change the fact that things do evolve, and we evolve with them or get left behind.
Enjoy your retirement.
I literally can’t tell if you’re for or against Walmart lol…how about English next time pal
I love your videos rich…
