I replace my impeller every 6-7 years. No problem there. They could last 8 years too. I always take off the propeller, makes everything lighter. And put some extreme grease on the driveshaft splines that goes up in the engine
Paul get some mercury marine water proof grease 2 4 c grease like 18$ for a tube. Paul pull lower unit like every yr Pull unit down enough to regressed the bolts. Especially the leading edge nut and stud that’s the worst one for corroding and seizing up. Good to see you again. John HOOKED N ROLLING OFFSHORE 🐠🐟🎣🛥🇺🇸🇺🇸
Paul don’t grease the anode bolt I don’t maybe with dielectric grease that would keep the connection between the trim anode and the main housing JT HOOKED N ROLLING OFFSHORE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🐠🐟🎣🛥🇺🇸🇺🇸
