Joy is literally ALWAY being given clothes that’re waaay too short. She looks so uncomfortable on a lot of her outfits. Do you know what’s more appealing than someone in a “revealing” outfit? Someone who’s confident in what they’re wearing. If they’re constantly readjusting their outfits or shivering because they’re freezing, that just makes me feel their discomfort. Let idols have more of a say in what they wear.

Another thing that women in kpop (or any celebrity status) gets that men don't: being a target of hate. It's cool to hate on Taylor Swift for the memes. Mamamoo, Red Velvet, Black Pink, Aespa... they get hate for just existing! You don't see that happen with male idols.
I complain about my period pains but I have the choice to stay an rest at home. Some of these idols have to *perform* and in short outfits might I add

The whole short dress situation is to make the idol look shorter because, unfortunately, a large majority of MEN don't always find taller women attractive. So you'll notice that with Joy, Rosé, Lisa, and Aisha, they usually give them smaller length dresses that reveal way too much but it's simply so they look as tall as they shorter members. I hate the fact that they do that to them tho. Like pants are awesome too

I am also very angry at the fact that many times male idols say rude shit to female idols and are forgiven for it. An example is when Shindong said that it's ok for men to be fat but when women are it isn't. Also Kyuhyun made Goo Hara cry in a radio show. And let's not forget all of the other times when sexual harrasment towards female idols was considered funny/ laughed at. (Example: Jyp's creepy videos and attitude also the fact that Jyp only started getting canceled because of the situation with Got7 when Jyp has been creepy and problematic for YEARS and no one said anything) also, the fact that Ailee's carreer was almost over because her ex decided to leak her nudes. How come the public decided to try and cancel her when it was her ex boyfriend who sould've faced the consequences and possibly face the law!!! I also want to mention how Taeyeon has been through so much, including when she got death threats and a bunch of hate for dating Baekhyun. Like, she isn't the only one in the relationship, he is also dating (not that I think he should've also gotten hate for it, but that only she got hate for it, I think that no one should get hate for dating). The list of these instances is so long, but I just felt like mentioning some. Insteaf of bashing female idols for not being puppets, let's support them and understand all of the aditional struggles they go through just for being women. Strong queens🛐

Also, in a show during kokobop era exo’s kai had the audacity to criticize female idols, he said that female idols’ dances are basic and easy and kept comparing between boy groups’ dances” and girl groups, did he forget about the heels? The uncomfortable clothes? The heavy accessories? The extreme diets? The fckn so called period? Also, some women have conditions which make their period literally hell. I have wondered about that. I know women can dance hard dances that require all muscles and strength and jumping and all that, so why don't their songs have those dances? I blame the ones who make their dances and designate how their dances should be. They want women idols to look feminine and cute while being sexy, dance feminine and cute while being sexy, talk feminine and innocent while being sexy. I really want to stan a female kpop group, but I'm not really into the feminine/cute/sexy dance snd look. It would be nice if there are also female group who have badass concept, look and style, outfits the opposite of innocent, cute and sexy (more like elegant outfits that intimidate people and command their respect, they don’t show skin but look more like those badass spy-girl outfits) and hard dances that intimidate people and command their respect (which we women are more than capableof doing). I blame the agency and perverts in the industry wanting to give female idols this infantile, innocent, and cute image, which only does them deservice.

What really upsets me is that I have a few K-pop friends who prefer the boy groups over girl groups which is fine but then they judge the female idols in groups for how they look and their weight. Which is messed up. It pains me to see the constant mistreatment and marginalization of female idols. I have so much respect for their hard work and especially towards IU, who never forgets the hardship of her youth and gives back to her community.
I want one, atleast ONE female idol and a male one to open up and be arrogant this time about the double standards and inequality. There would be some backlash, but its better to pull it out from the roots.

I think that the keyword should be respect. Respect people and their rights. There's no backlash I support because we are far from getting all the information we should have to be able to give our opinion. And one of the things that makes all this female backlash mistreatment worse is that a lot of it its done by other females.
It’s makes it even more saddening is that all the hate comes from majority female stans woman are always stepped on especially by each other

I really like this because it puts a different perspective on it how males are praised and females are criticized and that they are forced to wear things they shouldn’t especially in the winter I wish I could have a mom talk with them and tell them they are perfect just how they are it like people don’t understand the female idols and expect everything from them which adds to their stress in their life during the cold I wish that if I were an idol give them my jacket because it just being a gentlemen it’s nice to know that there are strong women in kpop who know how to be the queens they are

I respect every idol for sleeping only 5 hours a week on a promote week and they can smile to camera.
Me: sleep like 10 hours and fall asleep in classroom
+ they have to dance, do the make up, singing, being on a diet(the hardest tho), keep professional in front of camera etc.

Lets normalize idols performing with comfortable shoes!! my heart goes out to female idols who have to jump around in high heels, but I also gotta say that if you think jumping around with insoles, heavy or stiff shoes isn't hurting male idols, girl, i got news for you.

Its sad to see women hating on women. While going through Wattpad I saw many ffs in which male idols are male leads and female idols are portrayed as villainous bitch who is jealous of female lead aka y/n. The most used female idols are Irene and Seulgi from Red Velvet, Blackpink, IU and Yuna from ITZY. My cousin came across a BTS ff in which there were two male leads, Jimin and Taehyung as y/n's ex and current bf respectively. Seulgi who was jealous of y/n instigated Jimin against y/n, kept him from meeting y/n and pushed y/n of stairs. My cousin did not know Red Velvet before this much less than Seulgi started hating her and said many rude things about her. I tried to make her understand that this is just a fiction and not to take it seriously. She showed me the ff and i read it. HOLY GOODNESS. If anyone is unknown to the concept of the manipulation he/she can just learn it from that ff. The author of that ff who was not just a mere teenager FYI a freaking 21 years old woman, cleverly used Seulgi's habits, looks, and her interactions with Jimin during a show in which both of them were host to make her look like a you would wish you never have to meet in your whole life. I have liked Seulgi since i was 15 she was my role model but i would not when I say that I did not hate her while reading the ff. I felt so bad afterwards that I cried which finally knocked some sense into my cousin.

I wanna say that company shops keep some choices of the idol and then stylish should decide the dresses according to the song/concert
