This was mentioned in another video about the situation, but Tzuyu's parents were being threatened back home and told her themselves that she needs to apologise. The standpoint on this 5 years old situation should be that she had to do it for the sake of her family, career, and literal political tension between the CCP and the Taiwanese Government. I think it's a clear point that you don't want to piss off the CCP as a Taiwanese person, especially when a situation was caused on the basis that your actions offended their political position. The most that could have been changed to improve the situation was that the people who gave Tzuyu the Taiwanese flag should have also apologised, as well as editors or people involved in deciding what was aired was acceptable, surely knowing the possible backlash and outcome.

Momoland as a whole deserves the biggest apology from the Kpop community
Ikr. They're company did them rlly bad. People hated and criticized them so much and it still pressures me till this day. They were also accused for copying other songs. Members of momoland, Nancy and JooE were criticized so much. Nancy was hated so much for side-eyeing blackpink but Nancy was just tired that time and she was still a minor at that time. JooE was hit for not bowing to blackpink to congratulate her win. Netizens and toxic fans and haters never left Momoland alone.

Haras situation is really sad. The fact that khyuhyun, or however you spell his name, threatened to embarrass her in front of everyone knowing that female idols get labeled as wh*res and sl*ts simply for dating is revolting. As an old kpop fan, I can say that Sulli definitely has the most hate comments. The hate comments about her are so ridiculous to the point that I laugh instead of being angry at the comments. Every little thing that she does gets hated, every posts and every video. She trends a lot in naver and has an article written about her almost every single day or week, it's actually crazy how her haters and reporters are obsessed with her. Not a lot of people know about this but remember when Jenkai's dating news was released, Sulli posted photos on Instagram that time and it trended #1 (they were hating because of the photos she posted) on naver which surpassed Jenkai news which is crazy.

Man, I still can't get over the time netizens were bashing her for MOURNING JONGHYUN'S DEATH, like they were literally hating on her for being sad because a closed one passed away, calling her "unprofessional" for having feelings like a normal human being.
Females are far more pressured than male idols, seeing as females have higher standards of beauty and personality. For them to get more hate is somewhat not surprising, also seeing how traditional some South Koreans still are, considering Korean females are supposed to be polite, cute, kind, (sometimes) sexy, basically everything opposite of cold and "mean". I don't know what other pressure females in S. Korea have, seeing as I am not Korean, but they have it way too hard.

I agree with Hwayoung but Mina I’m not so sure if even tho the evidence tell otherwise. Before y’all start accusing me of siding with Mina, I will point out that I’m not taking any sides yet cause this scandal is far from done. We don’t know the entire story of exactly happened since both sides showed evidences but the question which one is the public gonna adept and who knows what other evidences Mina will bring to the table that might result in changing the public opinion. Remember she is mentally near insane so who knows what else is she capable of doing although both sides evidences is rather contradicting tbh. As of right now, Mina is 90 to 95% lying but it doesn’t mean she is 100% lying. Again who knows what else she got that can prove that isn’t actually lying. And abt Jimin same goes for her ig since she hasn’t give us an update yet.
So in my analysis, I think it’s better to not choose sides yet even tho one has presented convincing evidence. Cuz who knows if that evidences will be contradicted again. Radio star is one of the worst shows ever. They really like targeting female idols, especially ones with kind image since they can't reject answering questions and ask them uncomfortable questions. Mia has to be the most disrespected main vocalist in kpop. The fact that so many Forevers drag her and get happy when Sihyeon gets the most lines sends me. This is a much better way to put it. Even though Tzuyu had to apologise, it shouldn't have been just here, but in fact the people who supplied her with the flag, the editors, and people who approved of that segment to be included and aired. Hate her or not for it, I can't say I have any say as a non-Chinese, Taiwanese, or other form of citizen that's been in a similar situation, but Tzuyu should have not been the only one receiving hate and other intense psychological reactions that surely would have occurred in her developing mind.

Hwayoung deserves all the hate and I am usually not a person to wish anyone anything bad. But I was a T-ARA fan even before the whole scandal broke out and I loved them all but I did have a bad feeling about Hwayoung and once the bullying scandal broke out I couldn’t believe it. I stood with T-ARA and was attacked for supporting ‘bullies’…it took years that these girls had to endure all kinds of hateful comments/attacks against them till the truth finally was revealed. Better late than never I guess but I am glad my queens came back and were on Knowing Bros even. 😩 They stayed so strong for so long. I am proud of them!

People are terrible!! this is mentioned in another video about the situation, but Tzuyu's parents were being threatened back home and told her themselves that she needs to apologise. The standpoint on this 5 years old situation should be that she had to do it for the sake of her family, career, and literal political tension between the CCP and the Taiwanese Government. I think it's a clear point that you don't want to piss off the CCP as a Taiwanese person, especially when a situation was caused on the basis that your actions offended their political position. The most that could have been changed to improve the situation was that the people who gave Tzuyu the Taiwanese flag should have also apologised, as well as editors or people involved in deciding what was aired was acceptable, surely knowing the possible backlash and outcome.
