This was my great Aunt's favorite car. She had a '75 black on black w/blue grey interior & wire hubs. It was totaled the same year when a drunk driver broadsided it. She replaced it with a '76 white top over Potomac blue with blue interior & Buick road wheels. Mom & Dad were the only people she would let drive it. BTW folks, those are NOT aftermarket wire wheel covers. They are Buick wire wheel covers and very rare.

What a beautiful car! Hard to believe that this car is 45 years old, but also basically still brand new! I grew up in a strong GM family and for me personally, I was always and still am very partial to Buick! This car would be so amazing for taking long trips, as it is a cruiser and would ride like a dream! Would dearly love to purchase this beauty, but it's just not in the cards. 😥. Oh, the Park Avenue edition Electra 225 was DA BOMB. That was such a plush car. back when we valued comfort and luxury over Performance. I had a '78 Olds 98 Regency Coupe with the 403 V8. I miss that car.

@@joey1127 ‘78 was the second post down sized year. I was envious that Olds got to keep fender skirts. Buick had none after ‘76. I imagine your Regency was quite similar to mine Pk. Ave. in interior appointments and refinements. I suspect that 403(?) had plenty of power for your 98 with its weight reduction.

No tears, wear Marks, nothing, not even on that center fold down front armrest...which is the same fabric. My point is, even if you could get that cloth interior in the vehicle you desire today, you'll have your choice of light gray, dark gray or black. This Buick is a nice dark burgundy with a light gray cloth interior called "platinum" to make it sound fancy. That color combo is just "off". I bought it used mainly for the 3800 engine.

It's to bad this Buick wasn't a 1976 Buick Clamshell Wagon, than it actually might be worth $34,900. As for this 1976 Buick Electra 225 Limited 4dr Hardtop I
    would only give you $12,900.

It’s a beauty but good lord those wildly inconsistent panel gaps. 01:21 The hood is airtight on the right side but the gap on the left wide enough for a mechanic to lower himself straight into the engine bay without even opening the hood.

By the mid-seveties american V8 engines became less powerful due to emissions controls and unleaded fuel which had a lower octane rating. This in addition to federally mandated fuel efficiency guidelines spelled the end of the high output V8 as we knew it...

11MPG Beauty! Too bad just an extra large dust collector. The next owner will just be a care taker for the next buyer.

The after market spoke wheel covers ruin the look, so don't the overly thick whitewalls. Cars of this era didn't have whitewalls with that thick of a stripe.

That ugly sticker on the rear window, not even in the bottom corner, ruins the look.

This guy takes way too long to show the car! For God's sake, you're not making a movie.
