On "My Car Story" we're in the West Suburbs of Chicago IL on 8-26-23.
We're looking at a 1963 Buick Electra 225 Hardtop 4 Door in Black Paint. The car comes with the factory 401 CI V8 engine and an automatic transmission.
The car's Owner is Chuck Hinderliter. Chuck’s had this car since 2000. He shares he drove by it and saw the car was for sale. All the chrome was shining, so he pulled over, and a couple days later the car was coming into his driveway. This car is a survivors with just over 55,000 original miles on it.

Lou - love the channel but please stop calling cars like this "big boats". As an owner of a few of these large old American cars, it drives me nuts when you use that perjorative to describe them. It's simple, if you don't like big cars like this, don't show them. I can assure you, put this car next to, say a new Highlander, Traverse, or Murano, you will see what I mean. You may not see this in the Chicago area, but out west here where you can drive your old car year-round, you can see the difference when we are sitting at a red light. These order large cars almost look athletic nowadays compared to a lot of cars and crossovers.
From a time when car manufacturers actually took pride in their work, and cared about their customers. What a BEAUTY!! 🤩
Hi Smitty Smithsonite, Happy to read you enjoy this "BEAUTY!!" :-) Lou
NEVER saw a 6-window, 4-door hardtop... they were on their way to the 65 Wildcat... a favorite!
That's one fine Buick! The interior looks like a great place to be whether you're the driver or the passengers, and the motor has plenty of torque to get you down the road with smooth style. Thanks, Lou!
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, Happy to read you enjoy this "fine Buick!" :-) You're welcome, Lou
I can only say that this 1963 Buick Electra 225 Hardtop in black, exudes style and elegance wherever you look! From the large chrome grille, with the insignia of the three shields in the middle and its separate double headlights, to those four lateral horizontal pieces and chrome lines that frame the lower part and one that runs along the rear door towards the rear wings, along with the large bumper that folds and follows the lower rear contour of the fins, everything exudes elegance and good taste! Its interior with its predominantly silver upholstery, seats and even the instrument panel, combines perfectly with its elegant black body (a curious mention for the glove box that hides the trunk opening button). Finally, on the final drive, you could appreciate the smoothness and comfort with which this enormous Buick moved on the roads. Well done, Lou, to take a break in those big, comfortable rear seats; since it's like taking the living room sofas on wheels! Congratulations to Mr. Hinderliter, on his survival of only 55,000 miles! Kind regards!
Hi Jaime, Happy to read you enjoy the looks and style of this car :-) Glad to read the details you notice. Fun to kick back and relax in the back of this one :-) Lou
I don't give a squat S--T what ANYONE says or thinks. BUICK made the most beautiful, classy, powerful, and durable cars in the USA!!! This 63 Deuce and 1/4 is a prime example!!!❤❤❤❤ that car!!!
Such a stately looking Buick. Love the black car with the chrome! They sure don't make Buicks like this anymore. Simple but beautiful design. Lou just continues to knock it out of the park with these gorgeous specimens of Detroit arm. Thanks for sharing, Lou!
Hi ultraviolet tp, Happy to read "Love the black car with the chrome!" :-) My pleasure sharing with you. You're welcome, Lou
Survivor class, my favorite class. Thanks Lou!
Happy to read this one is in your favorite class" :-) You're welcome John!
The lights on the side front corners of the fenders are cornering lights. Marker lights came in 1969. Beautiful Buick!
Hi wmalden, Thanks for viewing and sharing your knowledge, Lou
1968.
The law initially required lights OR retroreflectors on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1968.
This law was amended to require lights AND retroreflectors on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1970.
Our family had a 1968 Ford Falcon and it only had side reflectors and no side marker lights.
Some manufacturers used lights starting in 1968 but they were not a requirement until January 1, 1970.
Lou, I love how you find some of the coolest cars from when I was little a kid and huge memories of the cars in my family and aunts/uncles, etc. The '63 Electra 225 is no different. My dad's oldest sister (my aunt and uncle) traded in their '58 Buick and got a '63 225. The '63 was white. My aunt had a solid reputation for having a lead foot. She would always tell my dad her latest stories of being speeding (the state police knew her well.) She was proud of her lead foot, I am sure. So I know that '63 225 could rock and roll up and down highway 41. That 225 had to be powerful or she wouldn't have it. Good grief, that 70yo woman was one force of nature, and certain a good fit for that 225. Thanks for the memory boost!
John, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your family's cars :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
Hi, Lou! This car is a perfect example of what people mean by "Buick-size"! You said it, Lou, it's a lot of car! And it does what it was intended to do, simply give its occupants a smooth, comfortable and relaxing ride (even if that horn does wake up the neighbors! LOL!). BTW, the other four-door hardtop, without the rear vent windows, was referred to as a four-window model.
This has to be the best impulse buy Chuck ever made! 225 thanks to both of you for taking us along on this big, black. breezy, beautiful Buick sofa on wheels, waking up the neighbors!
Hi iswc27, Happy to share "a lot of car" with you :-) My pleasure sharing this breezy Buick with you. You're welcome, Lou
That is a beautiful car. I love the lines and it looks like a luxury boat should. Growing up in NY in the 60's and 70's we never had AC in the car or the house. You opened up the windows and that was that. Great video.
Hi Randy, Happy to read "That is a beautiful car" :-) "Growing up in NY in the 60's and 70's we never had AC in the car or the house. You opened up the windows and that was that." Same at my house. Glad to read you enjoy the video, Lou
@randytim512 I grew up in N.Y. too. No A/C and only a black n white t.v.
My first car was 1965 Buick Electra 225. Love the interior of this one. It is very elegant. We have to remember a Buick was but one step down froma Cadillac. Love all the aluminum on the dashboard and the fit and finish and materials of the inside. Simply elegant. Your drive was so smooth. I remember how smooth my car was too. It drove itself. But, you are correct kids should not drive with one finger....or at all. I was 16, it was too big for a kid. But it was a hand-me-down. Love this car, the color and the smooth ride! Thanks Lou for the memories. Keep 'em coming.
Hi Brian, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your 1st car :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
My dad used to say, back in the era of this car, that he felt Buick was the best luxury car buy. You get a car that’s almost a Cadillac for 15-20 less expense. He admired what a Cadillac represented and people that achieved the ability to afford one, but said he’d never spend the money for one, he’d buy a fully loaded Buick, pocket the difference, and enjoy a great automobile.
Hi Cadillac Guy, Thanks for sharing what your Dad used to say. Lou
OMG Lou thank you so much for this video on a chill ( in Michigan 0° degrees) Sunday morning. My first experience with the 225 actually started in 1963. A very close friend of mines Dad was a 225 lover/fanatic from this 63 model through 72 when his family moved out of town. Those cars were the "ultimate" in family driving fun. That car to a adolescent kid made a pretty big impression on me. When I started work with a employer that I would eventually spent 40 years with, my first "new" car was a 1979 225 coupe. Yes a coupe. I was so proud of that vehicle. Lou if opportunity knocks and theres a 79 to review would you consider a video on it ? Thank you.
Hi David, You're welcome. Stay warm! Happy to read this car brings back memories of your Friends Dads cars and your 1st new car too :-) If I see a nice one, you'll see it too. Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
Thanks, yes, the Original s are particularly interesting………
You did it again Lou. Last weeks 59 Buick was close to mom's 59 just not enough doors, this one is exactly what she had in 63 after the 59 and after that was another black 4 door hardtop in 68. She had a 72 and 76 was her last car, all black 4 door hardtops. Like I said in other videos, she wouldn't own anything but a Buick..
I totally love your work, keep'em coming Lou 👍👍
Hi Pat, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your Moms cars :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
This Buick still turns heads over 60 years later! I may be wrong, but it seemed to get more attention than most of the cars you get to ride in. The gentleman driving the dark-colored BMW suv at the traffic lights couldn't take his eyes off it. I would have done the same. Thank you for sharing this video with us, Lou 👍
Hi Mike, You're right. If this car is at a traffic light and you have an interest in cars, you'll be looking at this one, Lou
Nice car, beautiful car. I think I’m moving to the western suburbs looks nice you’re wearing polo shirts. It’s minus 12 degrees below zero with 6 inches of snow on the ground in Glenview.
Hi ChitownRon, Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-) Stay inside and warm, Lou
One of the best things here is Lou carefully looking at everything. No damn rush. His giddy enthusiasm, giggling at throaty exhaust roars, is great! ❤
Hi Edward, Thanks for the encouragement :-) Glad to read you're enjoying the Channel with me, Lou
The 1963 models signaled Buick's return to styling leadership. This is an excellent example of Buick's 1963 Senior offerings. The light on the front fender is an optional Cornering Lamp. Reverse lights were properly call Backup lights. Very nice video of an exceptional fine Buick
Happy to read "Very nice video of an exceptional fine Buick" :-) Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
So nice to see this! A 1963 Electra 225 was not only my first car (in 1982!) It was my Dream car. My great uncle bought it new and kept it PRISTINE. I loved it since I first saw and rode in it. (1968 or so..) Forget the "fact" that my "Gen X" self was supposed to be all about Camaros or GTOs, Nah, THIS is what I wanted! And it impressed me MORE than a Caddy (Electras have Understated PRESENCE!). He ended up "selling" to me it for a nominal $100 (a price was needed for title transfer, He did not REALLY want money for his "elderly used car") and I kept her until I was married and me and my wife bought a NEW 1987 LeSabre (I didn't make Park Avenue money, LOL) Been a Buick man ever since! Currently a Lucerne! Too bad they don't make CARS anymore!
Hi James, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your 1st car & your dream car too :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
Lou, this car is astounding. The interior looks like a gr8 place to have a cocktail party...
Audie, Happy to read "this car is astounding" :-)
Beautiful Lou, just beautiful.
Back then GM designed (Fisher), opulent interiors for their big models.
My father had a 1964 Olds 98 Luxury Sedan, and those interiors reminded me a bit (although not quite the same ones) of it.
Thank you so much!
Hi Billace 90, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your Fathers car :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
👍👍👍
:-)
Another beautiful Buick! Love the interior door panels and seats. The design is simple yet elegant looking
Hi Steve, Happy to read you enjoy the design of this car :-) Lou
Glad to see this one as a survivor * Love the engine bay as is * I'm with you guys, in the backseat with my cup of coffee, and Chuck has no concerns that we will spill a drop as long as i finish it on the straight-away >- loving that 445 Lbs of torque. . . :>/
Happy to read you're "Glad to see this one as a survivor" :-)
From when Buick was just one step down from a Cadillac, a real beauty
Happy to read you enjoy this "real beauty" :-)
Buick was also a step above Oldsmobile.
@@bobbyheffley4955 Yup, until at some point in the '70s, maybe the late '60s, when they became pretty equal
Hello Lou! That is a really fantastic looking Buick Deuce and a Quarter (as many people called it)! There aren't many Buicks like this anymore, and whenever you see one today, it's a treat. This car reminds me of a neighbor from years ago (he's been gone almost 40 years now) who was loyal to the Electra 225. I remember he owned five of them (1964, '66, '70, '74, and '79 Park Avenue). All but the '70 were four-door hardtops or sedans. He surely loved his Buicks.
About this model of Electra 225 : this is known as a "pillarless sedan" in Buick-speak. This has body style number 4829; the conventional sedan (with center pillar) carries body style number 4819 and the four-window version has body style number 4839. The six-window model was formerly known as "Riviera," but, beginning in '63, that name went to Buick's new personal-luxury coupe. The '63 six-window hardtop sedan went to 11,468 happy buyers.
That engine - all 401 cubic inches of it - pulled that Buick along in lively fashion. It was quite thirsty for fuel (about maybe 9 or 10 mpg on a good day); 10 years down the road, many people _did_ care about fuel economy, and many cars like this ended up being sold and, eventually, junked and crushed. By the gas crunch of 1973-74, there was no place for big gas guzzlers. But in the case of this Buick, it is geeat to know this has survived 61 years (I'll say the same about myself soon, God's willing and the creek doesn't rise!).
One thing I couldn't help noticing, Lou: you and the car owner could almost pass for identical twins, except for slightly different heights!
Thanks again, Lou, for another wonderful video. As always, I'll be looking for more!
Hello Know Bodies Full, Happy to read "That is a really fantastic looking Buick Deuce and a Quarter" :-) Glad to read this car brings back memories of your former neighbors cars. Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
What a classically designed Buick, Chuck. Funny, you bought that when we still lived in Naperville. It had the same steering wheel as my 63 Special, except yours is the Big Boy model. Thanks Lou.
Happy to read this brings back memories of your steering wheel. You're welcome CJ Design.
Same basic platform as my 2 1964 Oldsmobile 98’s, I had years back. What a spectacular Automobile. Thanks for sharing.
Hi jakespeed63, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your cars :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
Класний великий автомобіль! Чудовий салон! Дякую!
Hi Сергій, Happy to read you enjoy this "Cool Big Car" :-) You're welcome, Lou
Lou, you have done many cars over the years. I remember one in particular that I liked. It was a Mercury Turnpike Cruiser! Probably from the early 1960s. That one might have been my favorite until this car! It is nice to see the 4-door models and pretty original like they were back in the day. "Only YOU are there!"
"That one might have been my favorite until this car!" WINNER!
Simply magnificent. Back when the old Buick motto was still true, "When better automobiles are built, Buick will build them". Sadly, Buick no longer builds automobiles, except in China.
Hi Daniel, Happy to read "Simply magnificent" :-)
Nice car, I see why he bought it , a very nice luxury American piece of history. Thanks for showing this beautiful car guys.
Hi Donald the truth seeker, Happy to read you enjoy this "Nice car" :-) You're welcome, Lou
What an awesome car. I love the sofa analogy.
Happy to read "What an awesome car" :-)
Those cars were so fabulous. I loved to sit in them and play with the power windows. They worked without the key. I would run the battery down playing with the power seats and windows. Also I loved setting the speed alert down to 25 for fun. No Electra in 1963 Alabama would have been without factory air. That was the last year of “turbine drive” that was formerly known as Dynaflow.
Hi jw77019, Happy to read "Those cars were so fabulous." :-) Thanks for viewing and sharing your memories, Lou
What a solid ride. Thanks gents!
Hi Kevin, Glad to have you along for the ride. You're welcome, Lou

Beautiful Electra - the paint and chrome are spectacular.
I don think I’ve ever seen a hardtop / six window in real life.
Very cool and thanks for sharing with us Lou!
Hi Jeff, "I don think I’ve ever seen a hardtop / six window in real life." Me either. So happy to be able to share this one with you. You're welcome, Lou
That's a good car to go for a cruise in that's one runs and looks great nothing beats the ride of a old lead sled
Hi Larry, "That's a good car to go for a cruise in that's one runs and looks great" I agree, Lou
What an electrifying Electra! Thanks For sharing.
"What an electrifying Electra!" NICE! You're welcome Rob.
Definitely a Big Black Beautiful Breezy Buick! 😍😍😍😍😍 Thanks Lou!
Hi motorTranz, Happy to read you enjoy this "Big Black Beautiful Breezy Buick!" :-) You're welcome, Lou
Those C-pillars with those triangle windows are just lovely. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Back then, the motto was, "Safety through visibility"
Hi Al_Dente, Thank you for sharing what you notice, Lou
Good Ole Buick class and comfort !!!!
....just the way we like it :-)
"Nice car!" It certainly is. Thanks guys for this feature on the Buick, they sure don't build them like this anymore.
Hi Bruce H., Happy to share this Buick with you. You're welcome, Lou
Wow! Beautiful car. I have a ‘63 Electra 2 door Sport Coupe and love it. I need the rear bumper caps. I sent the bumper to California to be re-chromed and they didn’t send the caps back. They have since closed and I’m having trouble finding new ones.
Hi Mr Jim, Happy to read you have a 1963 Electra 2 Door (we should video that one too). Hope you find those bumper caps soon, Lou
Beautiful specimen. Love the gleaming metal in the dash - better than plastic! The interior is definitely luxe.
Happy to read "Beautiful specimen" :-)
At the beginning of this video, I guessed it had a 401....
And wuddaya know, I hit the nail on the head.😉
NICE!
Goodday Lou,
The more I watch videos on 4 door Hardtop's the more & more I appreciate them.
They have that Hardtop advantage no centre pillar, you don't have to tilt seat forward to get rear passengers in.
They should of made 4 door Hardtop muscle cars but unfortunately I can't think of any intermediate 4 door hardtops they are all full size cars.
Mafia Staff Car
Thank you for sharing Lou
Cheers

Goodday Louis, Yes a few 4 doors have been so appealing, they have made it onto the Channel. You're welcome. Cheers. Thank you for being my # 1 Fan in Australia, Lou

Gorgeous survivor, thanks
Happy to read this one is "Gorgeous" :-) You're welcome.
That's a gorgeous Electra! Just like Betty Davis' in Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte. Hers was a 64.
Hi joegy, Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-) Thank you for sharing movie trivia too, Lou
Great Buick Lou. Love the 4 door hardtop
Happy to read you enjoy this car acts2211 :-)
Hey Lou.Those 445 foot pounds did get that old nail head rocking. That interior can put some living rooms to shame.I had to mention that headlight spacing and horn sound. The Big 3 had to go some to match that level of elegance. I think coach Brown had pretty much the same car, brings back some good cinder track memories. Thanks for the trip back.
Hey Robert, Happy to read this car brings back memories :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, and you're welcome, Lou
What a gorgeous car
Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-)
At about 5:15 when you give the chauffeur the orders reminded me of two ladies in San Francisco (they didn't look like twins but for sure were sisters) that had a new big black Buick every year. You could see 'em comin', both seated in back, replete with chauffeur in proper attire and ALWAYS with hats on (the chauffeur also had a hat). In mid-afternoons I would pass them going north on Gough Street and I was going south. It's probably safe to assume that they lived in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. And then one day in the late 1970s I never saw them again. I've often wondered who they were--what was their story. But the big black chauffeur-driven Buick with grey brocade upholstery and two Grande Dames always in hats is forever etched in my memory.
Hi Keith, GREAT memory. Thanks for sharing, Lou
That's a big black beautiful boat. Nice
ALL ABOARD!
I enjoy your car stories and those people you meet are fantastic. Thank for doing it right and with class.

You know the rare musclecars are nice but this is the kind of cars we all remember ( if you are at least in your 50s now) because our familys had them. It was handed down to you as your first car, or was your first used car you could afford as a cash strapped young person. If I am at car show or just scanning some videos of cars on You Tube nice original family car survivors likes this draw me like a moth to a flame. It takes me back to my youth when cars like this were everywhere.
My dad had a service station and worked on cars in his little 2 bay garage ( this was in the 70s) The older used 4 door family cars was his bread and butter.
No all of us were lucky to have a Hemi Roadrunner or a 454 Chevelle SS but we can all recall driving or riding in cars like this.
Hi troynov1965, Happy to read this car brings back memories of cars like this you remember :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
Hey big bro Lou!!! Awesome, man!! Look at you "chillin like a villain" back there in Chuck's big black Buick! WOW. I would be right there back there with ya, big bro. And let me tell you-I could not wait for my tubesocked stockin' JV baseball jock feet to be buried in that deep pile carpet 🤪! Oh man! It would put me right to sleep, Lou. Chuck would pull away and I would slide to the other side easily lol 🤣!! And my floppy sneaks? Ha! They'd be hovering along side that Presidential Machine in reverant awe (President JF Kennedy written all over it) till you reach out nice 'n easy (like Elvis) and throw those boys in back with me lol 😂! What an awesome video, Lou. The way you took your time with this big All American beauty and showed her to us, man. That drive was EPIC and indeed smooth, I felt myself tipping offa my seat in the turns, too! What a treat looking under that hood and seeing what a true MACHINE this is, man. A survivor and a testament to the engineering and creativity of it's makers. Chuck is an awesome caretaker, and you are an awesome big brother! JV Johnny ⚾⚾
Hey JV Johnny, We can both be chillin in the back of this big Buick with lot's of room to hang out :-) My pleasure sharing this smooth cruiser with you, Lou
Awesome! The MCS begins with a clear picture of how long the owner has owned the car and how he found and purchased it. I am much more relaxed about this "story". The engine bay definitely looks survivor but the interior, chrome, and paint look Awesome! I would really like to know what he has done to this car since he purchased it.
Lou I really do appreciate how you feature on your show cars that the owners love but may not be highly desired cars. What matters is you are featuring car enthusiasts who are preserving car history and enjoying it.
Hey Bill, I'm relaxed reading "I am much more relaxed about this "story"" :-) My pleasure featuring car enthusiasts with you, Lou
Great cars Lou🎉.. beautiful example of Detroit iron
Happy to read you enjoy the cars on the Channel David :-)
I still think these more conservative Buicks are handsome. Those 401s were long- lived. And Dynaflow! Great!
Hi Edward, Happy to read you think this car is "handsome" :-) Lou
Love the 6 window roof, shared with Cadillac. In 1961 and forward, Oldsmobile got a version as well. Before the 1963 Riviera, this 6 window style was called the Riviera.
Happy to read you "Love the 6 window roof" :-)

Nice condition. Had a 2 dr. 4 years ago. Now i bought a convertible in very good shape. I like the nailhead and its torque. In kombination with the dynaflow, its a cruiser.

Classic Buick!

There were 3 different 4 doors. The Sedan, the Hardtop (4 window version) and the Riviera Sedan (like this one).
Thank you for sharing your knowledge When Better Cars Are Built
Thanks!
SUPER THANK YOU Dr. Candor FOR THE SUPER THANKS! It's appreciated, Lou
I like the fact that you can have all the windows down, and you can still talk normally over the wind noise. Also, despite all that open area, it doesn't seem to be blowing you out of there even at higher speeds. IDK if GM had a special name for their 6 window cars, but Chrysler did, called the Town Sedan. They didn't sell well and they only made them a couple yrs. I think PRND(S)L became a govt mandate in 65. Anyhow, this 1 looks great in black! High torque low stressed Buick cruisers, gotta love um!

Beautiful 63 Electra 225 Lou! When will you feature a 65 Buick Wildcat? Can’t wait. Keep the great videos coming
Hi Edmund, Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-) When will I feature a 1965 Buick Wildcat......Hmmm, let me think....ok, ok, I'm done playing with you, it's actually next Monday! Stay tuned, Lou
Nothing like a "Deuce and a Quarter".
Happy to share this one with you :-)
It's in beautiful condition first of all. Second, I think you could call it kind of mid-range optioned. It's got at least electric windows and seats, side cornering lamps, the chrome accents and not much else. I guess the am radio, power steering and brakes - everything was optional. It is fairly plain otherwise. Gorgeous.
Hi William, Happy to read "Gorgeous" :-) Lou
I don't give a squat s--t about anyone else's opinions!! I know Buick made the most beautiful,classiest,powerful,and durable because I owned 7. 64,68,and70 Wildcats,73 and 75 Deuce+1/4s and 70 Riv GS and 73 Riv boatails.All were GREAT cars. This 63 Deuce+1/4 is a prime example!!!GREAT CAR!!! I ❤❤❤ that car!!!
I had those 7 GREAT BUICKS but I never found the one I really wanted was the Invicta. That was the first car I ever drove and it was an awesome car with the original 401-445 Wildcat Nailhead engine. It ran smooth and powerful!!!A great memory!!!
Hi John, If you type into TH-cam search "My Car Story with Lou Buick" I think you'll see many Buicks you'll enjoy, Lou
Being a black 4 door reminds me of a Funeral Home car

Happy to share this "Sweet Buick!" with you :-)
Nice old Buick.
:-)
There used to be an old guy in the town I live in who had that Electras identical twin until he died a couple years ago.
Great car twin and sad to read of his passing :-(
Last year for the Dynaflow transmission.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge When Better Cars Are Built.
Thats when they made cars
NICE!
Oh, and it's got a 2-speed "Powerglide" transmission as opposed to that funky RotoHydromatic...
Thank you for sharing what you notice.
We had one of these in Australia in 1970.We could not pick the gear change. Anyway stop playing with it and fix the clock !.

At 16:00 that driver in his BMW was looking longingly at that Buick!
BTW, Lou, what have been your most impressive rides?
Thanks for sharing what you notice. Well Jay, that's hard to say because each car brings a different experience and mood. For example if it's a Muscle Car I like the acceleration, if it's a super car I enjoy the speed. and if it's a big car like this one I like the relaxing ride and comfort, however I'll share the fun rides just today, a 1970 Challenger R/T with a 426 Hemi Pistol Grip 4 Speed. I drove a Duesenberg, a ride in a 49 Cadillac, and a ride in a Survivor 1966 Wildcat with under 10K miles, so stay tuned for those fun rides coming up. Lou P.S. Here was one I really liked too. th-cam.com/video/0l4bAmuojyo/w-d-xo.html
Surprised that you didn't mention the three ashtrays in the back seat area of the car.
Thank you for sharing what you noticed rgbigdog.

Thank you for sharing which one you prefer.
Nice very nice ❤😂😅.

That rusted up heater control valve needs to be replaced before it blows out! Love it but a car of this caliber really should have air conditioning.
Hi Craig, Happy to read you "Love it" :-) Thanks for sharing a tip, Lou
Lou, have you done any videos on the 63-65 Rivieras? I had 2 64 Rivs years ago.
