he actually had a plenty of time to get to cover but he didn't. now imagine trying to peek from behind cover but immediately getting lasered the moment your shoulder exits cover and dying
I just bought this game 3days ago. I really like the feeling of this difficulty (I played this difficulty for my first playthrough). Right now I'm at the fourth map. Man it was really pain in the ass. Shooting wasn't an option I had to stealth all the time . I was really enjoying it . But it was really unfair it is not realistic at all I got one shot from a guy he was so far away(even with 6x scope i barely see him)I was at the top of the crane ,and he saw me for like 1s and then I got 1 shot the question is how could he see me I couldn't see shit on my screen . Yeah and one thing it don't really like is that I die from fall damage many time it wasn't high all .
I played my first playtrough on ranger hardcore and had an amazing time. Idk how they balance everything so well, but the combat and resource management was so good
you got caught in a lie, you can't play ranger hardcore on your first playthrough, its only available in new game plus. i highly doubt you even played it in regular hardcore or hard. you played it on the easiest setting and lied that you played it on hard difficulty to make people think you're a good gamer noob

The second missed shot was a "tactical mission reload" because it was over when you missed the first shot
