It’s funny how Goku is so focused on having Gohan surpass him, but completely ignores Goten, the youngest Super Saiyan in history, especially when Goku was already training Gohan by Gotens age
i like Frieza vs Goku in resurrection F more than Goku vs Cooler tbh. Golden Frieza is a great transformation and Vegeta finally got the spotlight, I really don’t understand why people hate the fight so much.

Frieza saying that he had never trained in his life is a complete contradiction, as it was stated by Frieza during his fight against Goku in the Frieza saga of DBZ that he hadn’t dusted himself off in a fight since he was a child training with his father.
Don't you also think it's weird how he developed all his techniques without training? He can lace winds with his breath, fire multiple blasts from his aura alone, trap opponents in an explosive ball of ki... Heck he even has telekinesis. Granted most of these characters from space probably never trained much since they are overwhelmingly powerful, so it makes sense how he couldn't sense ki.
I have never understood how master roshi was stronger than Yamcha in the 23 WT roshi did not participate in the WT because all his students had surpassed him by then
@@Vexatiousproblems funny thing is they don’t have to watch the anime to get caught back up on everything. There’s only 26 volumes of DBZ manga. Maybe about 30-60 minute read each. They were just too lazy to read it.
I still don’t understand how Gohan could get so weak from not training for a short time.while freiza who apparently never trained in his life(cap)got so strong in 4 months. Like gohan stoped training for seven years and was a little rusty. But him stopping training for like a year causes him to assume he can’t even turn ssj. Like what? Also why did he lose all of his muscle mass too?
I think it needs to be stated at how bewildering Frieza going from his "first form" to his "final form" in an instant is... Frieza's transformations _aren't like_ other transformations in the series. it's not simply that his hair is turning a new color and he gets stronger; his body is physically altering in some _very drastic ways._ Secondly; Frieza's transformations are actually _reversed._ What colloquially is known as his "first form" is actually his _final form,_ where as what we know as his "final form" is actually his _original form._ Frieza's species transform their bodies in such a way that it not only disguises them, but also inhibits their power. In a way, Frieza's Transformations 1-3 are his species' equivalent of wearing _weighted armor,_ and his _final form_ is when the armor is completely off. Basically, considering how drastic his body changes between forms 1-3, I'd say that jumping right from 1 to 4, should have resulted in the equivalent of pulling a muscle.
That seems like a non issue. Nothing suggests he needs to go through stages rather than his final form because then his body would just transform directly to the final form not cycle through all his forms
Head-canon wise, I view Freeza's forms as "A Shell", partly spawned from years and years ago in Budokai where he literally entered a shell to transform. The Power Limiters are all part of the same shell, but they are different layers of it. With sufficient training, it should be possible for Freeza to, at any point, power up and simply shatter the shell, going right from any Power Limiter to his True Form. However, this is only possible with training; mental, spiritual, and physical. For someone who has never trained in his life, it should take him months alone to be able to do this, never mind gain any power. And even when trained, like in the movie, it takes about 15 uninterrupted seconds. It's not instant by any means. However, outside of having training, it makes no sense for him to be able to do this. I had this long winded arguement with someone once who was convinced that because the manga doesn't have a literal countdown on it, you are supposed to assume everything is happening really fast. So, in this guy's mind, Freeza's transformations were all effectively instant. But they really, really, really aren't. They take minutes on end before his training, and also before said training he has to take the shell down layer by layer - he has to go through first, second, third and finally his fourth forms. Or like you said, he could "pull a muscle", and effectively hurt himself, greatly lower his max power, etc. I don't care if there's not a time frame on-panel in the manga. The things the characters are doing take time. No one is fighting while Freeza transforms, it shouldn't be assumed that it's really fast, especially with how agonising it seems to be for him. In short, I agree mostly, but I think that with months of training SPECIFICALLY for it, Freeza being able to go right to his final form could make sense. But then, nothing about Freeza post-revival into modern dragon ball makes sense. Honestly I feel like with a decade of Hyperbolic Time Chamber training, he should MAYBE have gotten to the point of being able to fight Kid Buu evenly. There's no world in which he should be able to even force Goku or Vegeta to TRY after a few months.
This movie’s biggest problem to me is dragon ball supers horrendous power scaling. Going based on how piccolo was struggling with freizas men, the AVERAGE soldier would have to be as strong as semi perfect cell AT LEAST and that argument only works if you say piccolo hasn’t gotten any stronger AT ALL since the cell games
2:48 What's really funny is that due to Piccolo's ability to make clothes on command, there is no way to justify him being in that outfit. Piccolo could easily put him in any Gi he wants but doesn't because the movie really wants to show him in this outfit.
Vegeta had every right to take his time I mean Frieza destroyed his home world and became his slave but vegeta revenge wasn't satisfied to me Vegeta deserved to kill frieza not goku But hey Future Trunks which is vegeta son got to kill Frieza first so yeah
12:36 as my nigga TSO Sage pointed out, this is not only favouritism, it's also TAMPERING WITH TIME FOR NO DIVINE PURPOSE. Quite literally breaking the 2 things that Whis and Beerus AREN'T SUPPOSED TO DO
That's what I was gonna comment, Whis as an angel has to be a neutral party. Allowing Goku to go back in time to kill Frieza is *very* clearly taking sides. Why is he allowed to do this consequence free and moreover, why didn't they just let Vegeta kill Frieza.
Sage has some good points. 😂 Now I was gonna keep the portion of the video when I mentioned Whis not being allowed to tamper with Mortal affairs. However, when I went back to read, Whis mentioned that FIGHTING was the only thing that would get them erased for good.
True but u gotta look at it from their standpoint they only did the 1 time favor as for their own selfish reasons cus if they just allowed the earth to blow up they wouldnt get the earth food they so fondly love so take that as wat u will lol
@@justinsden Well if they clarified it, that's my b but it does still feel a little weird to use Whis' angel powers in this manner especially when you have the perfectly fine (better) ending that is Vegeta killing Frieza.
My main issues with the movie are Gohan and why was Frieza resurrected? Hell even his second in command wanting revenge would’ve been a better choice, or a movie villain being made canon.
Yes, it's terrible, only the animation is good. At the very least, Gohan should have gotten frieza to gon to final form. I'd then understand freiza beating him so easily.
@@oneboxboi1091 I know, thats why I said in the future chapters, cuz we got him being smart recently and it’d be nice if we kept seeing that, thanks though!
I didn’t get Shenron saying there’s no point resurrecting Frieza as he’d be revived in pieces due to how he died. We’ve seen plenty of characters who didn’t leave intact remains be revived 🤔
The way I personally sum up this disaster of a film: 1. Conceptually flawed - why are we seeing Frieza again? 2. Frieza's way too strong 3. On guard or not, Goku's strongest form should not be losing to that laser 4. Vegeta gets the chance to kill Frieza for good (amazing wrap up for his character considering the speech he gave to Goku about Frieza on Namek) BUT GETS ROBBED OF IT 5. The WAY Vegeta gets robbed and its implications for the future - Whis conveniently can turn back time, robbing future threats of any tension. They're also not supposed to intervene but here we are
1. For marketing since if they threw a new villain each time it would get kinda old if they had no idea how to make the new villain impactful 2. Actually that one I cant say much on lol yea blue goku should've beat the absolute shit out of golden frieza hands down 3. Yes vegeta was robbed of that W so this one I also cannot say much on 4. Again I cant say much other then the staff of the series has to always have the mc getting the W's so... yea
The other points I forgot about goku losing to a beam and the whole "whis and beerus should not intervene in this affair" as stupid as it is... it's been shown time and time again in the series that goku being off guard (which its dumb plz dont come at me for this blame the staff) apparently is the only way to beat him whether to actually hurt him or kill him As for the other lol its very simple beerus and whis did this "favor" for their own selfish reasons cus think about it they cant have delicious earth food if there is no earth right?
@@RealLostApoc that I cannot actually defend nor explain lol piccolo shouldve whooped all the frieza force members by himself whether he does a special beam cannon hellzone grenade or the demon explosive wave either way theres no excuse for piccolo as for gohan though.... @@onepieceking1770 yea bcuz picollo when fused with nail could go toe to toe with 2nd form Frieza and go toe to toe with imperfect cell when fused with kami. So idk how he can’t even handle a zarbon/dodoria level soldier
What trips me out with the transformation scenes is that Frieza’s transformation was much more dramatic with the camera angles and music than both Goku and Vegeta’s SSB transformation scenes like I know the movie is called Ressurection F but the way they downplayed Blue’s introduction showed that it wasn’t gonna be an impressive form from the jump. This movie was so all over the place that even the manga didn’t include it in the volume collection (I know there was a promotional manga but it’s hard to find and isn’t included in the actual DBS manga TL 😂)
When Resurrection F came out, it was the only new Dragon Ball fans have gotten since Battle of Gods so it was easy to overlook this movie's glaring problems. But now its become so clear that this is not a good movie. And the TV adaptation of the Resurrection F arc in Super has its own set off problems despite it's attempts to fix things.
Honestly fair criticism especially the power levels being completely skewed especially when comparing rusty gohan and piccolo who was likely above super perfect cell
It's crazy how much better Frieza's characterization is in the TOP and after compared to Resurrection F. I know Frieza was always short-sighted, impulsive and awful to his soldiers, but he's so stupid in this movie. He kills his few remaining soldiers for no reason, goes to Earth before learning how to use his new form then throws a tantrum and dies.
I feel like Frieza's short term training hurts massively when his new form and the tremendous amount of time for training he had when looking at the manga. When Frieza in a 3rd of a year can close the gap of multiple years of training and strong opponents, what the hell is anyone going to do to stop him now. I see it as impossible and their going to need some damn good writing to convince me otherwise. Overall, I'm getting real sick of this "prodigy" nonsense.
Also this "Prodigy" boost ruins Vegeta, he was considered a prodigy since he surpassed his father as a kid, why isnt he leagues above Goku despite them training equally?
@@Collofkidseditz Well, Vegeta was just born super strong and until Whis wasn't quite training in the best possible way like Goku does taking in lessons and advice from many masters. It's impressive Vegeta could come close to Goku everything considered so I guess he's a prodigy. And then frieza is ultra super prodigy or something
I love the editing on this! It flows really well, great video, I never really paid much attention to how much stronger the Z-Fighters should have been compared to the Frieza Force!
Thank you bro! Whats funny is I never paid attention to it much either until I went back and really watched it. It was so strange to see everyone struggling 😂
Resurrection F served its purpose. -Appease frieza fans. -Show off super saiyan blue and golden frieza. And despite blue being my favorite transformation i agree that it didn’t make sense at the time.
Superhero should have been a Goten/Trunks movie. Gohan already completed his arc becoming a scholar, accomplishing the dream he had since he was a child.
This move should've been like Super Hero where it focuses on the other Z Fighters as Goku and Vegeta train on Beerus' planet. The jump in Frieza's power would've been MUCH more realistic and it would've given the other Z Fighters a moment to shine while still given them a reason to train. SSB should've been introduced much later on (Goku Black for Goku and ToP for Vegeta) and Golden Frieza should've, if it had to exist, also been introduced in the ToP to give him another realistic jump in power because the canon reason is that literal image training gave him the jump, which is just stupid. This movie also incredibly mischaracterizes Frieza as he NEVER killed/hurt his own men in the manga. Toei DID make this stuff though, so go figure. TLDR: Frieza should've only jumped around Buu Saga levels of power here and all the RoF transformations should've been introduced much later on. Basically all of these problems come from Toriyama writing a decently lazy script and Toei not understanding ANYTHING about the series as they usually do.
I know I'm late to comment but hey another great vid man you honestly pointed out a lot more what was wrong than I saw whenever I watched this movie like piccolo vs shisami because omg was him struggling so stupid. Keep it up cant wait for the next vid
Thanks for this. I have nothing else to really add. You covered everything. I pretty much said everything you said word for word when this movie released and was attacked relentlessly. Called a hater among many other colorful insults. This movie and the power scaling make no sense. I love DB as much as the next guy but its like when we get new content so many are so happy to eat it up they disregard the inconsistencies or dismiss it entirely. This movie was straight up doo doo. 3/10
Lol no problem bro. Same I love Dragon Ball, but I feel like it would be a disservice as a fan to blindly give positive feedback to a movie that I know could have been better.
yeah this move is what doomed dbs' potential to be great. BoG was a perfect sequel to the buu saga, SSG being one of the best looking forms in all of db. an interesting new realm of power with god ki , GoDs & angels and then RoF came in and ruined everything with a new forced form that looked way worse than the form it's supposed to surpass. literally contradicted all of Z's powerscaling with how weak the Z fighters were. ass pulled frieza to have insane potential that was never there. literally made god ki irrelevant by having a dude with regular ki train for 4 months & surpass it. i could go on. thankfully the manga was able to recover with the zamasu arc. cant say the same about the anime tho
I mean krillin threw a rock at super saiyan goku during the cell saga and managed to hurt him. When they're relaxed their ki is at a much lower powerlevel.
Oh sorry like when Goku’s ki was surpressed and a bullet scratched his forearm. There’s also the instance where vegeta lowered his ki so Krillin could damage him on namek.
Gotenks stepping in and measuring up to Freeza in such a way that actually injures him and thus lets Vegeta get the win would be a better plotline than what we got.
Ive never heard the words "waste a senzu bean" in that order, but it couldnt be more correct lmao im tryna see the yamcha meme but with tracksuit gohan
I agree the “4 months of training” is just simply a lazy way to put Frieza back on Goku’s level. I love the idea of Frieza being a next level prodigy in terms of potential and growth but that idea could still be achieved if it was more like 4 years instead of months. This is coming from a Frieza fan. It’d work better if Frieza was revived at the end of “Battle of Gods” and then teased for Resurrection of F, but hindsight is hindsight after all.
Exactly. I also think rather than introducing Super Saiyan Blue, Frieza should have been put up against Super Saiyan God. It would have made a lot more sense for that form to have been used more. (Thanks for donating again!!)
@@justinsden NP, Thanks for putting out the great content. Also, I always wondered why they didn’t put a transformation in between God and Blue. Instead of having Goku and Vegeta go Super Saiyan Blue, have one of them use an “ascended” version of Super Saiyan God, which would actually be Super Saiyan God but the red hair is raised up like Super Saiyan 2 or something like that
Everything wrong with Resurrection F. The whole story arc shouldn't exist. We should be well past Freeza, but they keep bringing him back for fan service.
3:11 This how you know Meme’s effect the writing in modern Dragon Ball. Yamcha went from weaker than King Piccolo to Stronger than Raditz and that was with one year of training. You telling me he can’t handle some fodder soldiers likely weaker than Raditz?
This movie was written by a committee. I guarantee you if Toriyama was allowed to work and write like he usually did this movie wouldve been way better if not completely different. Moro arc did this exact same Thing but better.
13:13 We can't apply this to only Goku. Whis mentioned Vegeta's weakness which is that he's so wound up that his reaction time suffers at key moments. This is as much Vegeta's fault as it is Goku's. Vegeta had plenty of time to kill Freeza before he blew up the Earth but instead, he posed over him and threw a badass line. Goku deserves some criticism but Vegeta just as much.
That's always a writing thing that's gonna always annoy me when I see it in DB. When things only get worse specifically because Goku and/or Vegeta got on their high horse again and allowed their foe to get a boost in their desperation and complacency. That ends up happening again both times in the Moro arc.
I don't even know if it's overconfidence cause Goku just doesn't wanna kill and Vegeta just wants to satisfy himself but people ignore that cause Goku got the kill, I guess
Gohan went from being the future savior of Earth and Goku’s heir to a complete loser ever since he failed to defeat Majin Buu. It was all down hill from there.
Flawed as it is I love the movie. I love the idea of reviving my favorite DB villain and the fact that his minions were successful for a change. As much as I despise the Saiyan prince, want him to die already and never return I think he should have gotten the kill on Freeza. BTW I think that without a doubt Chaozu would have fought well against the soldiers. No matter how much Freeza trained his men they still shouldn't be a match even for Chaozu. I wanted Yamucha there and for him to use the Sokidan which has been a while.
This is what began a *LOT* of people (mine included)'s hatred for Goku. The story just started going full out of its way to spoil and cater to him in *Asinine* ways. The entire climax was his fault and somehow he deserves *ALL THE* Praise? Vegeta was robbed just to teach Goku a lesson he'll *NEVER* ever learn or remember. And he only gets worse from here.
@@bipstymcbipste5641 It ain't just this fight. Goku's love for battle has become infantile now. He's a selfish manchild who's a danger to himself and everyone around him. He selfishly tried to let Frieza go to conquer more planets and kill more people. He could've easily beaten and killed Black in their first meeting, but played around and let Black escape and grow strong enough to where he and Vegeta together couldn't beat him (which ultimately ended up dooming Trunks's whole timeline). He personally reminded both the Priest and the Omni Kings about their promise of a the TOP, which fucked many people over. And to say nothing of his recklessly *Stupidly* Selfish idea of giving Moro a Senzu bean..... And the worst part is, no matter how bad he fucks up, the story always rewards him in some way in the end. Very rarely do his friends call him out on what he does, and even when they do, they get over it way too fast once the problem is dealt with. *THAT* is why so many people can barely tolerate him anymore.
@@animationenthusiast4199 good to see someone with common sense. As someone that loved Z namek/cell saga goku seeing people saying goku is the same, because he did something goofy in Z is crazy. He reverted mentaly and socialy to is 12 years old self of OG db, is a fight maniac that doenst care about anything else or anyone anymore. Z goku would never risk someone life for a fight, he got so disapointed with himself after seeing gohan suffer from the senzu that he gave cell, but having him be the reason to wipe out several universes is fine? And just because they conviniently said "we were actually going to do it anyway" just to have goku selfish desire actually save everyone is absurd. Super as a turn brain show is decent, if you know what comes before and you think about it for a while it just gets crazy bad.
I don't care what anyone says, everything after Goku getting Frieza on his knees is certified trash. Goku, in SSB and looking down on Frieza in no way should be so off guard that he gets shot, Frieza trying to appeal to Vegeta even though he hates him more than anyone is stupid, and the time shenanigans as a whole is an awful ending for multiple obvious reasons. That isn't even mentioning how weak this movie makes all the Z Fighters look. Everyone there should dwarf Zarbon and Dodoria in power but here even Piccolo is struggling. I *like* family man Gohan but not not being certain you can go Super Saiyan *1* when I could ask Goten and he could probably do it on command is embarrassing.
The Z Fighters surviving the Cell Jr's yet struggling with Namek fodders is insane, one Cell Jr would beat all of Friezas soldiers at once with no difficulty
this is literally the worst written movie in the franchise, you could argue bio-broly but it all comes down to entertainment (which is hard to consider when neither plots makes sense). if only the story was as good as the visuals in this movie
I really don't get how that laser worked. Even at Frieza's lowest of lows, he's still multi-planetary. Goku should be well aware of this, being able to sense his ki and all. How much was he holding back for that laser to work? Frieza was also clowning Goku for losing to something so weak, so we know those lasers aren't some universal+ weapon.
During the Namek arc, 1st form Frieza was at roughly 500,000, with 2nd form being 1 million. So him training 1st form to be 1.3 million would understandably power up the more powerful forms. (2nd form would probably be boosted to 2 million, etc.) Where'd he get all the men? Dude had four months to train and recruit new soldiers. I'm sure Frieza's not against multitasking. Gohan saying he "might" be able to go Super Sayain makes sense since he's been living in an age of peace for several years and the guy's a pacifist at heart, so of course he'd be rusty. I figure Bulma either learned how to keep up with these guys after hanging out with them for so many years. That or she saw that Frieza wasn't a part of those impact shockwaves in the sky. I agree wholeheartedly that SS Blue came out of nowhere with no buildup. On first watch, it's such a hype moment, but looking back it doesn't feel earned at all. This is something the anime adaptation of the movie fixed though. I don't remember where, but I think it was stated that Frieza is a mutant prodigy of his species, hence why he never trained prior to this and why 4 months was enough to get him on par with Blue Goku. A lame excuse if you ask me, but it's the only explanation we've got. Aside from that, really good video!
Frieza getting as strong as he did was because he's a mutant. The potential was always there, he just never tapped into it because he never needed to. But in retrospect, on Namek, Frieza was extremely disabled and weak for someone of his race. Not that it mattered as he was the strongest in the universe. But because it never mattered, he was never concerned over it.
Personally I think they should've taken the chance to revive King Cold instead of Frieza. It would've made King Cold far more than a random filler villain but rather a major player who at one point ruled the galaxt and would've added more weight behind Cold's legacy. Either that or make it that Frieza the protagonist of the movie so we get to see the internal workings of Frieza's empire or at least come up with a method to even remotely justify the power of Frieza's men, Shisami, Tagoma, etc.
Don't forget Frieza trained his soldiers during 4 months, that explains why the bull thing could keep up with Piccolo Given that Frieza in his first form had already obtained ridiculous power by training, he could train them until they're nealy dead, them reanimate them with the machine. As for the soldiers, Frieza was the leader of the biggest army in the universe so recruiting men isn't an issue for him
I love Frieza, he is my favorite villain by far in DB but using him again is just so boring, he doesn't have the same charm, TOP Frieza was leagues above this one. This arc is honestly the one I dislike the most in DB, even counting some of GT arcs, it's honestly lazy and nothing it adds to the franchise is really memorable for me.
so like...even stopping the argument of frieza who has like unlimited potential... a fodder like shisami could become like couple millions of times stronger in a span of 4 months..? like what? and picolo even in cell saga would litterally oneshot numerous full powered frieza a way stronger picolo is somehow having hardtime against some fodder beings unless they scale to androids from cell saga picolo shouldnt even have much problem
This is by far the worst movie of dragon ball history and the movie itself makes no sense whatsoever even vegeta punching goku made no sense whatsoever just for not tagging him in to fight frieza like dude vegeta was just being stupid
Actually in Toriyama's script, Shisami was never compared to Zarbon or Dodoria (He wasn't even there in that scene). Shisami first appears on Earth and it's implied to be strongest mercenary Freeza hired to buff up his army to attack Earth. Toei simply fucked up by adding him at the beginning of the movie but somewhat corrected it in the anime by having Shisami weaker than base Gohan who is weaker than Namek Freeza. I guess he went from Zarbon/Dodoria tier to low Cell/Boo arc base Saiyan tier by training on his own. Who knows.
It makes sense for Piccolo to not bring Goten and Trunks. If Frieza was back and as strong as he was before, the current Z fighters would wipe the floor with him. If Frieza was back and a too strong to handle, Gotenks would definitely recklessly attack Frieza and get himself killed.
Gohan and the other's did no work to the 1000 men tiean could do better Gohan is so weak by Frieza's first from Goku did the same thing against friza and Moro
Resurrection of Dragon Ball as Dragon Ball Super was a big mistake. Battle of the Gods brought DBZ back, and it was amazing, then they dropped the ball in an embarrassing way.

Granted most of these characters from space probably never trained much since they are overwhelmingly powerful, so it makes sense how he couldn't sense ki.

He trained with goten a little so it can be assumed he didn’t completely give up training. But he clearly did during that year
I think it needs to be stated at how bewildering Frieza going from his "first form" to his "final form" in an instant is...
Frieza's transformations _aren't like_ other transformations in the series. it's not simply that his hair is turning a new color and he gets stronger; his body is physically altering in some _very drastic ways._
Secondly; Frieza's transformations are actually _reversed._ What colloquially is known as his "first form" is actually his _final form,_ where as what we know as his "final form" is actually his _original form._
Frieza's species transform their bodies in such a way that it not only disguises them, but also inhibits their power.
Facts. The power scaling was trash. Im not even huge on it, but it even annoyed ME lol.
Minions casually being scaled around Majin Buu just released amount of dmg is wild
I agree, these guys were considered literal fodders in Namek, even the weakest Z fighter should be 20x times stronger
2:48 What's really funny is that due to Piccolo's ability to make clothes on command, there is no way to justify him being in that outfit. Piccolo could easily put him in any Gi he wants but doesn't because the movie really wants to show him in this outfit.
I'm gonna be honest, the writers probably forgot piccolo can change clothes.

What pissed me off the most is how is it that Frieza has a hemchman that can tank piccolo. When supposedly the Ginyu force was his strongest henchman.

I didn’t get Shenron saying there’s no point resurrecting Frieza as he’d be revived in pieces due to how he died. We’ve seen plenty of characters who didn’t leave intact remains be revived 🤔
The way I personally sum up this disaster of a film:
1. Conceptually flawed - why are we seeing Frieza again?
2. Frieza's way too strong
3. On guard or not, Goku's strongest form should not be losing to that laser
4. Vegeta gets the chance to kill Frieza for good (amazing wrap up for his character considering the speech he gave to Goku about Frieza on Namek) BUT GETS ROBBED OF IT
5. The WAY Vegeta gets robbed and its implications for the future - Whis conveniently can turn back time, robbing future threats of any tension. They're also not supposed to intervene but here we are
1. For marketing since if they threw a new villain each time it would get kinda old if they had no idea how to make the new villain impactful
2. Actually that one I cant say much on lol yea blue goku should've beat the absolute shit out of golden frieza hands down
3. Yes vegeta was robbed of that W so this one I also cannot say much on
4. Again I cant say much other then the staff of the series has to always have the mc getting the W's so... yea
U forgot one part: Gohan and picollo fumbled so hard, like how did they get demoted to yamcha levels
The other points I forgot about goku losing to a beam and the whole "whis and beerus should not intervene in this affair" as stupid as it is... it's been shown time and time again in the series that goku being off guard (which its dumb plz dont come at me for this blame the staff) apparently is the only way to beat him whether to actually hurt him or kill him
As for the other lol its very simple beerus and whis did this "favor" for their own selfish reasons cus think about it they cant have delicious earth food if there is no earth right?
@@RealLostApoc that I cannot actually defend nor explain lol piccolo shouldve whooped all the frieza force members by himself whether he does a special beam cannon hellzone grenade or the demon explosive wave either way theres no excuse for piccolo as for gohan though....

100% agreed. It was horribly executed nostalgia bait
We need a super hero type film for the human fighters like a transformation only for humans based on god ki
Good thing the movie isn’t canon. The anime is. It wasn’t much better but it vastly improved upon a ton of these issues.
I know I'm late to comment but hey another great vid man you honestly pointed out a lot more what was wrong than I saw whenever I watched this movie like piccolo vs shisami because omg was him struggling so stupid. Keep it up cant wait for the next vid

I’ve heard this take before tbh. I like Frieza. They just butchered the approach in Resurrection F.
Gohan was actually doing better in the movie than the anime
I mean krillin threw a rock at super saiyan goku during the cell saga and managed to hurt him. When they're relaxed their ki is at a much lower powerlevel.
Was filler tho
Filler nonsense doesn't count.
Oh sorry like when Goku’s ki was surpressed and a bullet scratched his forearm. There’s also the instance where vegeta lowered his ki so Krillin could damage him on namek.
No one deserves to kill frieza more than vegeta, I really hope that vegeta kills black frieza.

I don't care what anyone says, everything after Goku getting Frieza on his knees is certified trash. During the Namek arc, 1st form Frieza was at roughly 500,000, with 2nd form being 1 million. So him training 1st form to be 1.3 million would understandably power up the more powerful forms. (2nd form would probably be boosted to 2 million, etc.)
Where'd he get all the men?

LOLLL
Damn. I agree with all of this. Awesome and detailed work too many people overlook the IDIOCY of Bulma thinking Vegeta would listen to Freeza
Much appreciated my guy. Yea It was crazy cause when I watched it again I thought about it. 😂
Don't forget Frieza trained his soldiers during 4 months, that explains why the bull thing could keep up with Piccolo
Given that Frieza in his first form had already obtained ridiculous power by training, he could train them until they're nealy dead, them reanimate them with the machine.
Vegeta should have had the "W" at the end and kill Frieza, instead of Frieza pulling that slick move that ended up destroying earth.
The thing you're forgetting about Shisami is that he likely was stronger after 4 months of training.
Still shouldn’t put him anywhere near Piccolo.
so like...even stopping the argument of frieza who has like unlimited potential... a fodder like shisami could become like couple millions of times stronger in a span of 4 months..? like what? and picolo even in cell saga would litterally oneshot numerous full powered frieza a way stronger picolo is somehow having hardtime against some fodder beings unless they scale to androids from cell saga picolo shouldnt even have much problem
His pl should still not even reach first form Frieza, him attacking Piccolo shouldve had as much effect as Nail's attacks on Frieza
In 4 months he goes from 20,000 to 100,000,000,000+
They always find ways for Goku to take the glory. Vegeta deserved that kill.
This is by far the worst movie of dragon ball history and the movie itself makes no sense whatsoever even vegeta punching goku made no sense whatsoever just for not tagging him in to fight frieza like dude vegeta was just being stupid
Even Dragonball Evolution?
Actually in Toriyama's script, Shisami was never compared to Zarbon or Dodoria (He wasn't even there in that scene). Shisami first appears on Earth and it's implied to be strongest mercenary Freeza hired to buff up his army to attack Earth.
Toei simply fucked up by adding him at the beginning of the movie but somewhat corrected it in the anime by having Shisami weaker than base Gohan who is weaker than Namek Freeza. I guess he went from Zarbon/Dodoria tier to low Cell/Boo arc base Saiyan tier by training on his own. Who knows.
Namek Zarbon and Doddoria were holding back the entire time. They didn’t want to show up Frieza.
SSB has more relevance in the DB LEGENDS story. HE GETS ACTUAL WINS !!
The real question that is to be asked is if this movie is better or worse than Dragonball Evolution?
Yeah, I’m not a fan of the movie I used to but not anymore
This may be a conspiracy theory, but perhaps Toriyama knew about Furuya's scandal already then; hence, he didn't want to give Yamcha a bigger role.
Resurrection of Dragon Ball as Dragon Ball Super was a big mistake. Battle of the Gods brought DBZ back, and it was amazing, then they dropped the ball in an embarrassing way.
yess..Yesssss
YESSSSSSSSS JUSTIN, TALK TO THEM, LET THEM KNOW BRO
FUK😭
Now u should do the anime version of the goku black arc and tournament of power...just a suggestion tho🙏🏾
Lol thank you bro 😂. I gotta be honest about this movie. I’ll definitely do more videos like this with probably every arc so far.
I hate to say this but now that Toriyama is gone, maybe Vegeta will be the one to finish black freiza now
