Really cool to see your perspective on how the manga was adapted. It is clear that you prefer the manga’s version of the goku black arc, but I wonder; are there any arcs that you think the anime did better?
@@jimtrzaska8077 Thank you bro. Honestly I feel as though the manga did most arcs better, but the anime had certain moments that I preferred. If I feel like the anime did one better though, I'll definitely make a video about it.
I think the goku black arc, including the anime, is the most interesting arc in Super. It's one of the few times where they lose, and there was a lot of interesting lore that was brought about. Also there was a lot of awesome/iconic moments; Vegetas speech, vegito blue, trunks, and an evil Kai.
It's my favourite detail about his design. Shows how even such a minimal change can make such a difference, because that eyeliner makes him look *so* much more evil than in the Anime.
One of the best things that the manga did than the anime is that they didn't give trunks any bs power ups to make him equal to goku and vegeta, and the most important of all giving fused zamasu muscles and not make him look like a twig
The manga definitely did Trunks better. He was much more of an asset, and even with the trash form known as Super Saiyan Rage, he wasn't of much use in the anime other than to develop the plot.
If Trunks stayed in the main timeline(which he should’ve imo) then he could’ve stepped in the T.O.P for Roshi and if the manga team wanted to give him Super Saiyan Rage like the anime, they probably could’ve changed it up to make it much cooler and more memorable. They’d have to give him a nickname or something to set him apart from present Trunks though
Bro you’re going crazy with these donations. I appreciate you. It sucks that Trunks left cause he didn’t want to disappoint Gohan. He could’ve been a valuable asset in the Tournament of Power.
One thing that didn't make sense is Vegito Blue being toe to toe with Fused Zamasu even though the power level between the non-fused individuals were huge. It would have made more sense if Vegito absolutely demolished Fused Zamasu like in the manga instead of Zamasu tanking a fucking Final Kamehameha to the face
3:50 Sorry bud, but here you are VERY mistaken Trunks in the manga is simply insignificant, being relegated to a punching bag for Black and Zamasu all the time, he was left aside in his own saga Not to mention that Trunks has 0 development in the manga
I know people don't really like Trunks' weird power-ups in the anime. I'll admit, they're handled pretty poorly, coming out of nowhere and not being very well explained. His weird Spirit Sword could've come across a lot better if it was established as a special technique Shin taught him before he died during his Z-Sword training, for example. That being said, I do like that the anime does at least make Future Zamasu/Goku Black into Future Trunks' specific adversaries instead of putting Goku and Vegeta as their main antagonists. This is his future, so him getting to save the day feels nice. Of course, it would've been a lot better if it had been something like Vegito beating down Fused Zamasu to a point where Future Trunks could reasonably finish him off when they defused.
Vegito got less time with his fusion in the manga than the anime. In the anime he was displaying everything from instant transmission, spirit sword, and the final kamehameha. In the manga he only last for a few pages and defuses the moment he uses his final kamehameha.
Anime and Manga go back and forth on what is utilized better than others. Anime has more striking fights and visuals, but the manga tends to make up for it by having a better sense of fight choreography and even emphasizing brutality better.
He uses spirit sword, instant transmission and final Kamehameha, only difference is the little amount of panels he’s gets, he got less time overall but still used all of his abilities

Personally, I think instead of Future Trunks and Mai going to another timeline with another version of them, I think it would have been better if they went to the timeline that Cell came from. If you remember, Cell came from another timeline where he saw his version of Future Trunks, killing him, and then stealing his time machine creating Future Trunks’s timeline and main dragon ball timeline. @@kaidenjohnson2624 I don’t think so since in Cell’s timeline, similar to Future Trunks’, Goku would have died due to the heart virus, and that the Z fighters were killed by the Androids. 1:25 - Correction: Universe 12 DID NOT invent the Time Rings. They developed a Time MACHINE just like Future Bulma did in Future Trunks' time period. The Time Rings are linked with time itself and when a new timeline is created, a matching Green Time Ring corresponding to that timeline is also created. The opposite is true where if a timeline is erased, its corresponding Time Ring is also destroyed. The plot point with Universe 12 is relevant in that a Green Time Ring was born in response to their time travelling and the time machine responsible for that was rediscovered by Zamasu who would have used it to follow our heroes back to their timeline which the Time Rings couldn't do as the Rings can only go between the Future and Present.
What i wouldv liked is a diffrnece between zamas and goku black where everytime we see them they get slightly further apart and trunks uses tge spirit sword but when the timeline is erased it leads to a mini arc with trunks as he is depressed and doesnt believ in himself and this arc gives just enough hope that when the t.o.p comes around its a chance for him to get his timeline back
A standout moment you could see a mile away was Gowasu doing the "It's not to late to fix this" then getting stabbed in the chest. Fun fact: Goku Black stabbing Gowasu is the only time he uses his Ki Blade in the manga
The worst part of the ending is how zamasu technically won. The universe got erased completely, though I feel it was a dumb way to finish it. I think that if only half of the zamasu sides had died, and the fusion split, it'd be much more interesting. Also zamasu is fantastic. The strongest Kai.

Me who preferred the manga version since we got universe Zamasu at the end rather than splitting Zamasu. Zeno could have just wiped out the singular planet they were all on but just said fuck it everything goes. Made more sense for him to do it in the anime. Wasnt it said that it was maintaining blue that was difficult? The issue with blue is always the energy drain(aside from pssjb fixing that). Though I wouldnt be surprised if its a retcon and the reson vegeta couldnt maintain blue against hit was because it took too much energy at once.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the manga version of the Goku Black arc, so there may be things that I misremember. The manga version had many things I wished the anime had, mainly the scene where Goku Black shows remorse towards Gowasu, only to stab him right after. This re emphasizes how he truly believed that he was in the right, and how far he had gone. Additionally Trunks training with Shin increases the parallels with him and Zamasu as they were both once trained by a Supreme Kai. Not to mention Goku was less childish in the manga. However I personally prefer the anime version over the manga for a couple reasons (Mostly relating to Zamasu and his portrayal) The manga version of Zamasu was already showing signs of being no good, meanwhile the anime had him with a pure heart but conflicted. Not to mention the fight with Goku made him choosing Goku’s body feel more personal. Goku Black felt better in the anime as he kept his cool, felt more elegant and was unstoppable. I prefer villans being drastically more powerful than the heros as it encourages them to work harder. Additionally the scenes of him killing Goku and his family, Vegeta’s speech and many more make me prefer this version over the manga. I much preferred Merged Zamasu in the anime than manga. Merged Zamasu in the anime was presented like an actual god villain with the halo, techniques etc. Meanwhile the manga version feels like a typical dragon ball villan which, depending on who u ask, would make it better. However I preferred the anime version as it made him more unique and feel more fearsome and dangerous. Additionally most people did not like the mutated Zamasu, but I personally loved it because it was symbolically representing Zamasu’s descent into madness over his ideology. Also I prefer the fact that Vegito was actually fighting instead of just destroying Zamasu. I also preferred how the ending was handled in the anime, particularly with Infinite Zamasu. Zamasu merging with the multiverse is much more unique as oppose another villan duplicating himself. Not to mention the stakes felt higher as he was even reaching other timelines. Additionally it makes Zeno erasing the multiverse make more sense. The TOP shows that Zeno just needs squish his hand to erase individuals while not damaging anything else. Unlike the manga, he clearly couldn’t do that in the anime as Zamasu had become the multiverse and a higher being. These are just some of my main reasons for liking the anime more, although I feel it also depends on the audience’s preference. Overall the Goku Black arc is my favorite arc in Super. Despite my preference for the anime, the manga still has lots of things I wished the anime had. These are all my personal opinions, so feel free to disagree.
Shut up bro you literally read my mind this is exactly my thought, I too prefer anime over manga, the only thing manga did good imo is how future zamasu come to know about goku bcz it never shown in anime apart from that anime is superior, hot take but imo manga is overrated
I feel the same, specially about Goku Black himself. It's because of the anime that Goku Black became my favorite Dragon Ball villain. When I got to the manga, I was disappointed at his portrayal there. Plus the whole explanation about Black exploiting Zenkais doesn't make sense considering he has Goku's body. If Goku (in the manga) can't get Zenkais anymore, why Goku Black, who has the same body, can? Was the God to Blue Switch cool? Definitely. Was it necessary? Not really, Goku and Vegeta already have the perfected Blue in the anime (evidence provided by Goku's use of the Kaioken), so it would only be useful to conserve energy (which with the fast nature of the fights wasn't really a problem). Was Goku Black using SSJ cool? Yeah. Was it necessary? Thanks to Goku Black's trip to the past, it wasn't. It was also a good thing because Goku Black received a Zenkai, prompting his Saiyan Body and Divine Soul to finally become one. With that, Goku Black attained God Power in base (SSG is already a God Ki base form), so when he turns Super Saiyan, he becomes Rosé instead. I could say more, but I also think there are things that could be used from the manga (mainly the whole backstory of Trunks training with Shin, that would have been a pretty good way to tie in the SSJ Rage as an incomplete SSJ Blue form acquired by his incomplete Kaioshin training), but I feel like the anime should be the base for the story, and not the opposite.
the only thing that really bugs me about the arc is the ending, but at least its more explained than in the anime. like trunks just up and leaves, where tf he go 😭
This arc has some things that the other one doesn't (manga and anime), yeah there's no ssj rage, spirit sword, power creep, ect in the manga...but neither some things that are coherent...Hakai, the fused Zamasu enigma, a better power scaling than the anime, SSBLUE ACTUALY MASTERED (wich thats no any better, perhaps it made it even worse), and so on.
That's just kind of how the ark is I think that in general they just messed up on making zamasu immortal they should have done what superheroes did with the whole Goku black gets super saiyan Rose 2 and 3 that would have been cool to see
One of the best narrated arc in manga, one thing that was great was perfected ssb, showing learning control over very powerful SSB as to utilise it effectively by overcoming it's flaws which shows it's significance rather than losing to every other fight in anime just because it's energy draining
Question??? I undertand how goku black got stronger than vegeta but so strong he can attack and injure blue??? Y turn to rose than??? He already got him at ss2 level??? Ik its dragonball but its smthg thats been nagging at me for a while now. 😂
Request to make a video on explaining all timelines of dragon Ball like how they were created and how some ended and some going on!! This video was also good
Fused Zamasu didn't feel right it should feel like when your dominating the enemy once they fuse the entire fight switches to their advantage but here it was just them it just felt like they were just trying harder EDIT: I regret what I said I just have problems with how Goku alone was dealing with the rest of what I said is nonsense
I understand why Future Trunks did not stay in the main timeline, it would basically clash with the end of Z. Perhaps once we eventually get passed the end of Z we can see him making a permanent return.
The manga was way better although I didn’t like ssj 2 trunks being stronger than ssj 3 goku and a couple other things but all in all it was great. I think Vegito beating up zamasu was a highlight because to me it always pissed me off he struggled in the anime when realistically vegeta was stronger than black and goku was waaaaaaaay stronger than zamasu so how is their fusion even keeping up with a fusion of goku and vegeta? Makes no sense
Interesting to see your analysis on other arcs especially compared to the manga Interesting video dude 💪 I am more familiar with the anime & even I don't think this is the best arc of dragon ball super in particular (maybe tournament of power or moro tops it for me 😅) still though it's nice to see the manga get praise as I often see people criticising the manga 😂 By the way any update on naruto summaries & when that will release I been waiting 😂?
Thank you bro. In my opinion the manga doesn't get nearly as much praise as it should. The arcs are a lot better in them, though the anime has SOME moments that are better. Lol I'm glad to see that you're excited for them. I plan to release the Naruto summaries this year for sure. I have a mini vacation planned for the end of this month so I'll be out for a little, but I'm already scripting the first Naruto Arc as we speak. As far as a specific release date, I'm not sure but I'm working to make it as soon as possible. I got you!
I love this analysis bro one thing i loved most about it is that 1.there is s no ssjrage and 2 . goku get to use the hakai, and 3.there alot of fused zamasu
Though the ssj rage trunks was a needless power up for toy sales. I still would say the anime did a much better job providing certain ideas and toolkits for both goku and trunks, such as providing goku and trunks with mafuba, though goku did forget about it and the tensed situation in which both goku and vegeta had to face goku black and zamasu multiple times. I still would prefer the infinite merged zamasu and cmz and they shouldve added cmz during the punishment that is getting dished out by vegeito. And the reason i prefer infinite zamasu over cooler movie omage is that in the end a villain did win and him becoming one with reality forcing zeno to wipe it all out, compared to few indefinite multiplying dudes on a planet who he couldve erased that particular aspect alone. Providing trunks with techniques and giving him chance to save his ppl with sword of hope was nice touch, though i wish they linked with his training with the kai as spirit bomb utilises genki, which can be used for healing. Sure the cohesiveness of the manga was done better but thats solely due to it having to rectify the issues the anime had. Yes i get it you are not fan of trunks staying with himself and that aspect they couldve changed to trunks staying in a timeline from which the android cell has arrived. And i agree with you on it because inorder for beerus to deal with zamasu whis needs to tell him before supreme kai dies. But again toryama wanted to zeno's to exist in the main timeline.😅
I wanna start doing more analysis content for you guys. Lemme know what you think of this.
Also, eat a cookie every time I use the word "depth". LOL

Not to mention Goku was less childish in the manga.
However I personally prefer the anime version over the manga for a couple reasons (Mostly relating to Zamasu and his portrayal)
The manga version of Zamasu was already showing signs of being no good, meanwhile the anime had him with a pure heart but conflicted.
Manga really is amazing, the only thing probably holding it back is the ending.
Thats facts.
That's just kind of how the ark is I think that in general they just messed up on making zamasu immortal they should have done what superheroes did with the whole Goku black gets super saiyan Rose 2 and 3 that would have been cool to see
I think it’s better than the anime ending
You are amazing thank you for making a great vid
Thank you bro! I'm glad you like it!
Goku Black is my Favorite Dragon Ball Villain of All Time! 🔥
He's definitely one of the best!
One of the best narrated arc in manga, one thing that was great was perfected ssb, showing learning control over very powerful SSB as to utilise it effectively by overcoming it's flaws which shows it's significance rather than losing to every other fight in anime just because it's energy draining
Maybe I don't remember correctly, but didn't that advanced civilization from U12 invent a time machine like Bulma did, and not the time rings?
Can’t take ts serious
Really like these videos with more of your opinion in it. Plus I never knew their were so many differences between the manga and anime.
Thank you bro. 🔥 I got more like this coming.
I liked the video. Will you do an Everything RIGHT with the Goku Black Arc in the future? (of the manga)
The Goku black arc is legendary it was consistent and well paced
This video was also good
That arc gave off a massive GT vibe for me.
Anything involving future trunks turns into gold
Future Trunks should have stayed with us
When it's executed correctly, I agree. He definitely should have stayed.
Why does everybody say that goku black uses ssj2 if he uses ssj1
2 videos later something bad about the arc/ vegito blue
It wasn't perfect lol
Fused Zamasu didn't feel right it should feel like when your dominating the enemy once they fuse the entire fight switches to their advantage but here it was just them it just felt like they were just trying harder
EDIT: I regret what I said I just have problems with how Goku alone was dealing with the rest of what I said is nonsense
One of my favorite scenes in the show version is still goku with 2 broken arms slapping the shit outta Zamasu with kicks
He's arm wasn't broken just limp but yeah I agree best scene ever
This is definitely the best super ark in the manga another well made video.
Thank you bro!
@@justinsden no problem man just keep doing what you love
super wasn't a gt, but its definely no Z in which some directors are trying to hard to smash on the narrative and failed miserably
Interesting to see your analysis on other arcs especially compared to the manga Interesting video dude 💪 I am more familiar with the anime & even I don't think this is the best arc of dragon ball super in particular (maybe tournament of power or moro tops it for me 😅) still though it's nice to see the manga get praise as I often see people criticising the manga 😂
By the way any update on naruto summaries & when that will release I been waiting 😂?
Thank you bro. In my opinion the manga doesn't get nearly as much praise as it should. The arcs are a lot better in them, though the anime has SOME moments that are better.
Lol I'm glad to see that you're excited for them. I plan to release the Naruto summaries this year for sure. I have a mini vacation planned for the end of this month so I'll be out for a little, but I'm already scripting the first Naruto Arc as we speak. As far as a specific release date, I'm not sure but I'm working to make it as soon as possible. I got you!
I wonder what’s going on in the civilization who made the time rings in universe 12
the universe 12 civilization invented a time machine not the time rings.
I love this analysis bro one thing i loved most about it is that 1.there is s no ssjrage and 2 . goku get to use the hakai, and 3.there alot of fused zamasu
In conclusion manga is better
Todays a good day my king updated
Lol much appreciated bro.
hello
Hi!
Jesus, man. This is an entire article
Amazing is exaggerating a bit
