How to Find and Catch White Perch All Day Long.

- This video I tell you how I go about locating white perch during all seasons to include their range, habitat, seasonal locations and the hotspots they congregate. I also talk about my most productive lures and how to use them to catch the most white perch as well as the equipment that I use. I have rarely had a day when I set out to target white perch that I didn't at least catch 30. I've caught upwards of 100 on a regular basis. Good to know. That bait is similar to the booyah pond magic spinner that i like The Beetle-spin has been my best performer this year.

Awesome video. Very informative and to the point!! Check out the Z man slim swimz 3" in space guppy. It is a perch destroyer here in south Jersey! Pair it with the Z man trout eye 1/8" jighead and you got a perch killer for days!

Also do you use straight braid to your lure or use a mono fluro leader attache to both braid and lure.

I’ve done both ways. i haven’t noticed a ton a difference as far as catching fish. What i do notice is that when i use mono or flouro leaders i don’t get my lure fouled as often. The braid will get twisted around the lure much more often.

Where can I find the perch persuader lure.
I make them. But you can use a beetle spin and a 1/8 oz VMC Dominator Marabou Jig and get a similar effect.
I have inline spinners with an orange blade. White perch kill those on the Severn River

Thanks for watching. I appreciate you. There are many spots in that video I’m fishing. I don’t directly give out the locations of the places I fish. You can apply the same principles to any place on the Chesapeake Bay.
I went with my dad to a little creek for them and soon the bait (frozen shrimp) they were bite it.
Bait fishing for perch is a great way to catch them all day too.
@@MDYakFishing yeah I know I try to use a jig spin and a shad dart i got two bites on the shad dart but not fish. PS do you know if they bite super small crankbaits or yerkbait?
You can definitely get them on jerk baits but it’s better to use a lure that gets to the bottom. That’s why weighted spinning lures allowed to hit bottom and slowly retrieved work so well. if you are fishing shallow a jerk bait can get bit. Best of luck!

@@jarodbrenneman8661 I use 2" kietech swimbaits and get bit. The problem is that the tails get bit off frequently so I don't use them as much. Perch really like nipping tails.
