I was born with severe eczema covering my whole body. My eczema got worse everyday until I was 27 when I started using Immunosuppressants. I am also one of the first eczema patients to use Dupixent and have been using Dupixent for almost 3 years.
The question I get asked the most is: What treatments are there for severe eczema if steroids like Prednisone is not effective? And what if Dupixent is not available?
Here are the 5 immunosuppressant medications I've tried. Cyclosporine has worked best for me and I continue to take Cyclosporine pills along with Dupixent shots. I also use protopic (Tacrolimus) ointment on my skin.
