I developed eczema, mostly on my legs, in my 70s. I’m now in the process of finding my triggers. So far I’ve discovered 2 of them; sugar and stress. One day last month I binged on sweets and had a major flare up.
I healed my eczema by going on a 90% carnivore diet (grass-fed red meat and wild-caught fish). I believe gluten and refined sugar caused inflammation in my body. I also avoid seed oils, and corn-fed chickens to regulate and limit omega-6 in my body. … A decade as a vegetarian/ vegan has destroyed my gut due to the natural toxins in vegetables and beans, so I stay away from those, except for avocados. I eat certain fruits for carbs, sugars, and vitamin c. Vitamin d3 via supplement. Everyone’s body is unique and you really have to find the healing foods that work for you.
@@carmelduran9812 thanks for the support! I honestly wish I could eat any whole food and live a healthy life. …. I’m trying my best to have fish be my protein staple and to use organ red meats, such as liver, for iron and other vitamins/minerals. I am very careful about from where the animals are sourced. I avoid grain-fed animals and commercial farms. It’s challenging but I think there’s nothing more important than the fuel we use to keep our supercomputer alive and healthy.
Good day everyone please i need help and advice. I have skin problem for 25years now, doctors call it different name this week one of the doctors said it is erotic eczema.

I loved the information! As a person who has suffered with eczema my whole life (40 years) it’s good to know WHY I’m experiencing this chronic condition so that I can make an informed decision about my diet/intake. So far, I’ve cut dairy and gluten, am awaiting results from a food sensitivity blood test, and might be ordering a skin test from the allergist, too. Tired of dr.s telling me “There’s nothing I can do” again and again.
You have docs recommending greens and seeds, then on the other side you have people demonizing seed oils and greens as full of oxalates etc. Medicine can be so confusing.
So annoying, my allergies specialist told me that food has nothing to do with allergic contact dermatitis. Odd enough, I have flare-ups after eating dairy or sugar. Go figure
Same for me. I've had 4 drs all tell me that food doesn't cause eczema. But when I eat something that doesn't agree with my body, about 2 hours later I get a flare-up started & then I'm miserable for 4 days
I practice dermatology, I know about this and I tell this to my patients but its extremely hard to give up wheat. Its in so many things. Wheat products can even be found in cola and hotdogs. Some restaurants put pancake batter in their omelettes. Also, I've found that most patients don't know much about wheat. When I asked one patient to give up wheat she said she would switch from wheat bread to white bread. The majority of my patients are simply unwilling to make a major change in their diet.
Yes, I saw a video from Dr. Berg Eczema and he mentions this because of the GLA-Gamma Linoleic Acid the currants have so I found out Evening Primrose & Borage Oil also have GLA...so I bought the Black Currant seed oil and have been taking 1 a day with my meal since I'm eating 1 meal a day and I have noticed it has improved a great deal I still have it however I will continue using it since people with Eczema have low oil or certain oil like Omega 3 that the body lacks I will also incorporate Zinc, amd D3, into my diet as well. I just want to get rid of this!!!

how can i avoid flare ups and itching at night, whenever I wake up despite moisturising i get dry and even sometimes bleed with red stains in my pillows and my skin feeling ripped and stinging when I wash my face in the morning, I try to resort to damage control by reducing stress and moisturizing excessively and regularly to combat dryness and loss of moisture when I wake up, but how i can avoid aggreviating it throughout the night by itching it, also what can I do to keep my room temperature cool to avoid overheating while sleeping
Thanks for the video. Thank you so much for offering the free course on your website and i will be checking that out. People who complain about the length of your video need to realize that it's important to understand the "whys". I will be trying urine therapy. Just take Black Currant seed oil, not every person has same ancestral nutrition and the same microbiome, no need to cut out dairy and farm foods unless you have a long line of Veggy/Vegan ancestors.
Hello Dr. Dasani, am prone to Eczema or other skin dermatitis conditions. My allergist said I should avoid crustaceans and other foods that cause the breakouts. You mentioned about leaky gut or foods that are not digested. I had bariatric surgery in 2014. Now my stomach is just the size of a banana. Is that a cause for these eczema, partially? Please enlighten! Thanks and God bless for your vlogs!
I too try to avoid night shades and its by products (KETCHUP), milk & milk products, all citrus, black pepper, red pepper and by products ( cayanne), eggs, sugar and gluten (wheat). Also you might want to look up Histamine food for flare ups. Hoping this may help someone.🌝
I have for the past 1.5years avoid these 4 common food, it reversed the condition and became eczema-free. I was then able to eat many other vegetables + fruits again, which I previously had low tolerence, thinking I have recovered, I slowly introduce eggs, diary, & sourdough bread back into my life, but now I have a flare-up ! 😓

@genius6084 i wrote an essay but it somehow vanished. so (at least try it man) this is the problem assuming that others do not know what they are talking about. i tried every kind of diet for the last 16years of my life and yes animal products are very dangerous for humans. No doctors i went to told me .. i had to suffer and live with it. then i came to this plant based diet .. i would love to eat some cheese or any kind of meat but i am the one who suffered for 16years and yes that made me strong enough to say a BIG NO to these carnivore diet. If you have the time watch WHAT THE HEALTH 2017(Netflix) and Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2010( TH-cam).. hope this will be helpful.. :)
Me personally, I have a VERY unique situation. I've had eczema since 2012. I workout etc. I have the kind of body type where I have to watch my carbs but can have a fairly high fat count. But the problem is with that diet, when I drop the carbs my eczema flares up HORRIFICALLY. But if I go against my genetics and drop my fat and increase my carbs (oatmeal). Yes I hold a ton of water BUT because of the water retention. It hydrates my hands from the inside out and I NEVER have a breakout.. So I have a really unique situation. Should I go against my genetics and blood work and go high carb with oatmeal and not breakout or should I watch my carbs and keep breaking out?
Your body does not require carbohydrates, as misleading as the name may sound, to be hydrated. The oils from a high fat diet will keep your skill much more moisturized than water. rinse your hands in the sink with warm water. wait 15 minutes... they'll be dry. Rub your hands in a hand oil, then wait 15 minutes. point proven.
Dealing with a Super bad flare up recently Went to the Er during my bodybuilding comp because of it Been testing and it seems so far drinking eggwhites doesn’t help my body (I was eating and drinking 16-20 eggs a day)
I have tried to figure out which foods bother me for years and have had no luck. How soon after eating would you notice problems? I do know stress is a trigger for sure and perhaps lack of exercise. I have been working on my gut biome for several months by using 2 products one of which is cow colostrum. That has helped a lot but recently I had a huge flare up. My eczema is usually confined to my right hand and recently that got really bad with lots of bad cracking. Then after applying triamcinalone liberally to my hand my whole body developed a raised rash which I have had for 6 days. I felt that it was a reaction to using the triamcinalone but perhaps that is wrong. I am considering trying your clinic. My ezcema was annoying occasionally and only located on my right hand but since november of 2023 my ezcema has been bad with regular flares and no time where it is completely gone.
im vegan and gluten messes me up. it's so hard to find gluten free options everywhere though. i feel like im better when i mainly eat rice and vegetables and tofu
Going to do a food fast try stay from gluten, wheat , dairy , and sugar. 24 hr to 48 see how the body reacts. It’s always the worse at nights can’t sleep something needs to be done
after sufferring from eczema for 6 months, these are the recommendations I would suggest to eat and not to eat; To not eat: all the stuff that mentioned in the video (whey protein is the worst ) To eat: 1.) eat veggies but mostly cook with hot water not stream cooking 2)lentils 3.) food rich in health fats like salmon and so on like if you do a lillte bit research you would know. (****having a good sleep schedule and a strong mind to not let the negative thoughts consume you is the most impaotant thing because your body has its own healing mechanism. as long as you avoid the inflammatory foods your body is gonna take care of yourself for that you need to take care of your mind****)
Just had a recent shocking Blw of eczema Tropical dermatitis in the palms of my hand fingers and body it was really unbearable and went takin specialist which is slowly healing My Food Allergies are since a child acidity foods and Tropjcal Fruits such as Oranges clementins pineapple strawberries and sour apples if only just been near them state the flare and I have to just run away from them
"Spelt" bread. Hard to find outside of a health food store that carries specialty breads. Ezekiel breads can be found in the frozen section of Publix and Walmart, and are not made from flour, but from sprouts. Good flavor, a bit dry, but not too bad. It's hard to find rye bread that doesn't have wheat flour in it. Does rye have gluten? I have to go check.
The way to cure is changing your diet as he states in the video. I'm going to try it too . The foods he said , i have been noticing Do bother my eczema. Good luck 😊 😊
Use benzoyl peroxide cleanser in shower. Lather on leave on for one minute, rinse off completely. Use as tolerated for maintaining Ask your dr to prescribe topical Clindamycin solution and apply like toner. Should help to reduce flares.
Hi, I'm from Pakistan. Nice vid. Some people I know react to caffeine. Can it even cause hives? And they take cool milk (even diluted)as an antidote. Also beetroot slices in my sandwich helped with heartburn in pregnancy.
So this might sound ignorant so no beef ? Or you mean no red meats in a diet ? Just need clarification please. Just because I’ve been making my son organic meatballs to go with his spaghetti and would like to know if this is not smart to do since he has eczema flare up’s thanks
red meat, dairy, eggs, and refined gluten such as white bread can trigger eczema, so best to cut these foods out, i cut out meat, dairy and eggs and my eczema went, i’ve never had problems with refined gluten but a lot of ppl do, i think gluten intolerances and allergies tend to be genetic but i could be wrong whereas animal products are naturally inflammatory and dairy contains hormones too which can interfere with hormones in our bodies
soy is one of the most intensively farmed crops, it gives me a two day migraine, and its in a lot of food, most commercial chocolate and icecreams in the form of soy lecithin hope that is a help@@ninjazmbeegrl396
Could the problems caused by beef as you’re mentioning be due to what the cows are now being fed? If you go grass fed like our ancestors who ate the full cow and did not have all of our issues, shouldn’t that work? Chickens that are not pastured also cause issues because the chickens are grain fed when they should be out scratching in the ground for worms, insects etc. I believe the essence of what you’re saying but it’s the type of beef or chicken/eggs not all beef and chicken, that may be causing the issues. Cows were never meant to eat grain. They should be eating grass.

Why when healing from skin condition does the body push the Toxins through the skin making worse before it gets better?
Because it’s toxins coming out of the skin, temporarily causing damage as it comes out
That’s exactly what I’d like to know..
Liver overload may be a possible cause for this. Skin is a another pathway for toxins and allergens to exit, unfortunately inflammation occurs.

i also have bovine collagen powder and wasnt sure if that was what was affecting me.. did cutting it out help with your skin?
@@tk-im9gm no - a it doesn’t matter what I do or don’t do. My only relief is aloe vera gel
How is ur health now?
@@raahijan6663 Same. Nothing seems to be helping me. I’m hoping for sunshine and warmer weather. There is no cure for psoriasis.
Just take Black Currant seed oil, not every person has same ancestral nutrition and the same microbiome, no need to cut out dairy and farm foods unless you have a long line of Veggy/Vegan ancestors.
Dr. Dasari, which Protease supplements would you recommend?
Thanks and God bless for your vlogs!
ive been eating 2 eggs since i was pg --im 76 now. i dont know if i can live w/0 eggs!!!!!
sugar definitely does it for me
Cheese, regular fat milk, & yeasty foods are culprit.
Mines actually caused by soap. I can't use soap or anything that contains soap on my face.
How about Dove bar soap?

I too try to avoid night shades and its by products (KETCHUP), milk & milk products, all citrus, black pepper, red pepper and by products ( cayanne), eggs, sugar and gluten (wheat). Also you might want to look up Histamine food for flare ups. Hoping this may help someone.🌝
Sugar, stress, anxiety, corn, gluten.
Can the aloe Vera gel from the aloe plant be consumed directly as it is or do we need to dilute it? Please advise how to go about doing it.
Yes. You can juice the entire leaf minus the thorns
what about alcohol
I think that's definitely a trigger for me
I have for the past 1.5years avoid these 4 common food, it reversed the condition and became eczema-free. I was then able to eat many other vegetables + fruits again, which I previously had low tolerence, thinking I have recovered, I slowly introduce eggs, diary, & sourdough bread back into my life, but now I have a flare-up ! 😓
I'm doomed with your comment if eczema is my skin problem. What do you eat?
@@gwenroney3972
it can help avoiding foods high in salicylate, get water kefir for maximum gut performence, use tactics to avoid/kill, reduce bed mites.
Beef is a massive no no for me and prawns and chilli.
Love the gnome in the back 💜
plant based diet is the best because our body is able to heal itself.. its hard but the results would keep you going..
@genius6084 :)

Dealing with a Super bad flare up recently
Went to the Er during my bodybuilding comp because of it
Been testing and it seems so far drinking eggwhites doesn’t help my body (I was eating and drinking 16-20 eggs a day)
I have tried to figure out which foods bother me for years and have had no luck.
Gluten may cause eczema. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye...oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten. Hidden gluten may hurt.
OMG. Say it!!!!
I literally cut caffeine, junkfoods and dairy, the itchiness somehow habe subsided... you just need to be patient...
im vegan and gluten messes me up. it's so hard to find gluten free options everywhere though. i feel like im better when i mainly eat rice and vegetables and tofu
Going to do a food fast try stay from gluten, wheat , dairy , and sugar. 24 hr to 48 see how the body reacts. It’s always the worse at nights can’t sleep something needs to be done
Can I eat fry food?
Best to limit it
How many milligrams of protease would I need if I'm eating an 11 oz steak?
after sufferring from eczema for 6 months, these are the recommendations I would suggest to eat and not to eat;
To not eat:
all the stuff that mentioned in the video (whey protein is the worst )
To eat:
1.) eat veggies but mostly cook with hot water not stream cooking
2)lentils
3.) food rich in health fats like salmon and so on
like if you do a lillte bit research you would know.
(****having a good sleep schedule and a strong mind to not let the negative thoughts consume you is the most impaotant thing because your body has its own healing mechanism. as long as you avoid the inflammatory foods your body is gonna take care of yourself for that you need to take care of your mind****)
Just had a recent shocking Blw of eczema Tropical dermatitis in the palms of my hand fingers and body it was really unbearable and went takin specialist which is slowly healing My Food Allergies are since a child acidity foods and Tropjcal Fruits such as Oranges clementins pineapple strawberries and sour apples if only just been near them state the flare and I have to just run away from them
Dude. Get to the point
Wat mij enorm hielp is het vermijden van volkorenbrood. Ik eet nu speltbrood. Witbrood triggert mijn eczeem.
Pls talk about hindrances suppurativa, how to cure
The way to cure is changing your diet as he states in the video. I'm going to try it too . The foods he said , i have been noticing Do bother my eczema. Good luck 😊 😊
Use benzoyl peroxide cleanser in shower. Lather on leave on for one minute, rinse off completely. Use as tolerated for maintaining Ask your dr to prescribe topical
Clindamycin solution and apply like toner.
Yes!!! I’m cutting out caffeine !!!
Bro . Just say what type of foods we should not eat .
I avoid legumes, pumpkin seeds, cow's milk, gluten, nuts, peanuts, corn, paprica and all the above hidden in all processed foods.
I wonder if soy could be a culprit too cause they put that crap in everything!
What do you eat, plz share your diet
soy is one of the most intensively farmed crops, it gives me a two day migraine, and its in a lot of food, most commercial chocolate and icecreams in the form of soy lecithin hope that is a help@@ninjazmbeegrl396
Aged cheeses (esp. sharp Provolone, Asiago and Parmesan) seem to trigger a flare-up in me.
Going round and round and round!😢
Is taking hcl same as a protease?
No
Hello, I know its been awile since you posted this video, but maybe you can answer one question. So its been about 10-11 weeks since I eliminated sugar, dairy, eggs, gluten...taking probiotics...but still have permanent flare ups. Does it mean it didnt work for me? cause people here say that their skin cleared up within couple-few weeks. Thanks

Ungulates but unless you travel and eat things like water buffalo, it means cattle and bison.
