I noticed a recent video did have option to replace sound, but some old videos don't have this option. Did they just add the option to replace sound?
Does this only work for a public account my account is private? Even when I add music from the tiktok library over the orginal sound it still gets muted
Honestly I don't like the tiktok music. But the muting be annoying but I understand due to copyright
i dont add music ,just voice over , and get the same problem , fuck tiktok
Using Tiktok's editor does not prevent anything, I only use sounds from the TikTok sound library and after my account blew up a lot of sounds were removed due to copyright issues.... and again all sounds were added from the sound library.
I’m so sad. Many of mine were also songs/sounds added from TikTok library, and now I’m still muted. It ruins your videos 😭

Literally nobody knows how to answer this correctly. Mine was taken down as it was 2 seconds too long! You can't go back in to use your sound, it only offers Tiktok sounds to change it with.

This is useless because I have speech on my videos. When they mute my videos the speech is also muted. It would be good if they could just mute the music layer and leave the speech layer
