All you have to do is find a sound that says silent. Set both sound to 100% and you are good to go as they don’t recognise the sounds on videos.
@@ElizaJW70 I tried adding another sound that contained the word "silent" in the name and it wouldn't let me unmute my own sound.

Doesn't work for me, it picking up copyright before I even upload officially, during the set up screen it's already going to copyright.
But what if it's literally my song that I hold all the rights to and I can't appeal it
This is the issue I’m having. Once a song hits your music tab on tiktok (synced from your Spotify, Apple Music profile etc) you can’t use more than 1 min of it on a video without it being muted. I’m trying to remove the song from my TikTok artist profile but there’s no instructions anywhere on how to do this and TikTok won’t answer messages
They updated tiktok so you can’t adjust the sound on the original video up from “0.” There is no way around the copyright as of 8/25/2023. Tried to play independent artists in my 10 minute video while I do art and tiktok muted the whole thing so you can’t hear me talk about the art I’m making. Can’t dissect the audio or anything, whole video and art project is ruined. If you know how to bypass the copyright AI please let me know
Try setting the replaced audio at 1% and turn up your original audio. It won't affect the original sound at all and TT won't mute it. This is what I just did several hours ago and my video didn't get any mutes! I seen that someone on a different video said to do this and it works!
@@ichigo7491did you read the first sentence? You can’t adjust the volume of the original sound anymore after it’s been copyrighted
@@SquishyBunz69 yeah you can. I’ve been doing it every time I upload. You just have to add the sound and then turn it down to almost zero and turn your original volume up as loud as you want and your video won’t get muted by tiktok.

I believe I found a legit way as of 1/10/24 to bypass this. When you load a video in that has a copyright problem, I immediately click the sound button before the “Replace Sound” warning comes. For some reason, I was able to bypass that warning cuz once that warning comes, it won’t allow you to adjust the original sound. If that warning comes, go back and click the video again that you wanna post and click sound as quickly as you can. Once you’re in, search any “Silent” sounds and you’ll be able to edit the original sound and replaced sound to your liking.

TikTok muted my own sound
None of this is working for me. My audio that I just spent over 3 hours making myself was muted because of "copyright restrictions" (on my video) but when I go into it in messages, it says that it "it exceeds the allowed maximum duration." My video is literally ONE MINUTE AND 50 SECONDS 😡. And there is NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. I made the audio myself with the exception of some parts of it that I got from a ROYALTY FREE website. Any other ideas of what I can do? I need my song to go out to the world. I'm hoping to find my son through my music.
same story here. I am an artist as well, and I’m really struggling to get reached on TikTok, because they keep muting my audio and same thing my beats are royalty free from BandLab. this is so annoying.
Update: if you search silent in the sounds menu it will come up with a sound that lets you adjust both the original and silent sound volume when you select it.

Literally noone knows how to fix this correctly. Often it has nothing to do with copyright, sometimes the time was exceeded but you can't go in upload your OWN sounds, just crappy TT ones
The most super funniest thing is i use garage band and create my own melody and put drums on it and play violin create my own melody and it pops up like what u said my vdo has been muted and iv already deleted vdo
I use Ai voice and when I do copyright check before the vid is uploaded they show me who has the right for the claim but nothing in my vid has that song 😢 frustrating
problem is everything gets muted which is longer than a minute even you buyed license for that music or use license free music. tiktok doesnt care and wants you to use their own trend shitty music.
All my patriotic & Olympic Torch videos are copyrighted and TikTok has muted “United We Stand” when I blocked a scammer. I did not find out or don’t understand how to unmute it or notify TikTok to unmute it. It’s my writing, singing and me, Cathy Ray so I couldn’t bring it back unmuted. Please show & explain better.
My issue is I extended a song by using it twice for a longer video. TikTok muted not because it was a copyright issue, but because it went for more then 60 seconds...any solutions?

I don't get it? They muted my own voice, it's my voice, I own the sound it's my video how can they claim my own voice, they didn't send the notifications for my videos.
