Question for you. Tiktok has gotten rid of the creator accounts and switched them to personal accounts. However, you can’t put a website link under a personal account and you could under a creator account. Is the only way to have a website link for your account to have a business account?

How to switch from business to creator? Tiktok doesn't show me that option :( i can only switch between personal and business. I want to switch to creator
Click the 3 dots, go to Manage Account. The options are usually right there for the 2 types that you are not currently using. Is there a chance you are already Creator? (You can tell if you see Creator Tools in your settings. If you're Business, instead they call it Business Suite). Also, if you're in a very new account that is still in the default Personal mode, the first option you'll see is Switch to Pro Account. After that you'll get the Creator/Business choice.
I just tried switching my personal to business and vice versa and it still allowed me to add a website link and I seemed to have access to all analytics! It appears other brands still have access to this as well since they use trending sounds and have website & email link ?

After you have the sound for your video, check the top right under Filters and Adjust Clips. There's a drop down arrow for more options. Volume is there!

Yes the website link was the main thing for me! If your followers really want to find your website, they'll be willing to write out the website themselves :)

For the most part, you’re free to use songs from the Commercial Music Library in your regular TikTok videos and ads, but for some you may need to fill out an application first. Best to read the rules carefully first. Good luck!
Yeah I'm a soft talker. Usually I boost my audio in editing but I must have forgotten this time. But cranking the volume worked ok on my desktop, hopefully your speakers can help! (My ancient laptop has been letting me down in this department lately myself!)

After watching your very informative video I do have a question: When you go into random people’s accounts that are using a viral song and has made it their original… what do you do about the “added” noises in the song you just favorited. So for example the video you favorited had a guys voice with the viral song.. do you just accept that your video ad will now also include that creates noises too? So sorry if this is a confusing question it’s hard to describe without sounding awkward! Thank you so much for your help regardless
It's tough, now that so many people are on TikTok, soooo many more "sounds" are being created every minute. If I hear a song I like on someone's video, I take the extra step of finding the original song, and try to favorite it. You can Search the musician. But then that is also when you'll find out whether the original song is commercially licensed. It's time consuming, but I still find it easier and less time consuming than going through the commercial license library in the business account.

It looks like they changed it. So the personal account is now also the creator account. You can switch on analytics without upgrading to business. Thats why there seems to be no pro-creator account anymore.

Hi Kenny, if you're using sounds that have a commercial license, you should be A-ok. If you're using sounds that don't have a commercial license that you used to make a video while you were on Creator, I haven't heard of people getting a violation.... yet, haha. But if you had hundreds of videos that you made in Creator and wanted to switch to Business, that would be a lot of videos to delete, since you can't edit them after. I'd hope that TikTok would consider that.

I find that now a lot of sounds are created with people's voices mixed in with the hit song I'm looking for. I have to pay attention to make sure that the sound I'm favoriting is purely the song. Is that what you mean?

That wasn't the case a few months ago as these sounds with voice overs would be marked as "original sounds" before (despite the trending song in the background).
