The engine note is SO much better in this video. Be safe, have fun!
wait a bit...the exhaust gets better after time imo
Stock sounds best
i will always prefer analog dash over modern full tft or lcd display.
Analog tach all the way, cant stand digital tachs. Digital speedo is OK tho.
AGREED!🙌💯😎 its that cherry on top connecting you to the bike and its commands and sound..soo Raw 😍🤤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@bladeofwaragreed analog tach and digital speedo is the way god intended motorcycle gauge clusters to be.
Looks like Honda has had it right with the CBR600RR (up to current)
Glad I am not the only one. There's something about analog dash that is more appealing to me.
In real, all these superbikes have restricted ECU's. GSX R750 has a lot to offer with just an ECU flash.
Makes it a lot smoother and drivable.
Thumbs up for a Moore Mafia ECU flash.
I have a 2016 GSXR750 in scotland and love this bike, full system R11 yoshi, piper cross race filter, wollich tune 132rwhp, Hel braided brake lines and Hel master cylinder, ktech rear shock. Ive seen 182mph on the dash
Nice one, that was one hell of a confident ride. My CBR400RR has similar red line numbers but thankfully the speedometer behaves itself better.
Another great video! I just finished your books and excited to get some practice in. Thank you for all you do. Loving the new bike videos.
I just got a fireblade 954. The specs for these bikes are very similar. Though the 954 has more torque. Baba wanted a 900cc engine to fit in a 750cc machine and seems he successfully achieved his goal
954 is a jewel of a bike.
That sounds fully sick! There’s something about a 750 that’s just right -especially a Gixxer. Self looking for something lighter and agile now. Glad you’re getting joy from it! 👍🏻
Right on brother hope you are having fun with the new bike! 05 gsxr 600 was my first street bike and now I am got a 09 CBR
1000rr repsol. Stay safe bro and always mad love and respect!
Awesome to you see you hit the twisties on the Gixxer 750. Such a great balance between a 600 & 1000
That exhaust note !
That road!
Insanely good riding.
So awesome he showcases an inline 4 sportbike. They are a dying breed.
Love the bike. Became a GSXR fan when my cousin bought a gsxr 600 years ago
Last bike was an older GSX-R 600... really wanting this to be my next bike. Thanks for the video!
Nice bike! I have a 2016 GSX R600 and love it! Those twisties look amazing but I’d be nervous of police coming the other way and clocking my speed
Gotta say watching someone get a bike that's just right for them on so many (technical and personal) levels warms my heart. Have fun man. Hopefully I'll be in the same position soon :)
yeah same. got a fz6n right now but looking att getting a gixxr 750. need something that is fast enough to escape the biker cops but don't need anything crazy so the 750 is really the best option. honestly more manufacturers should focus on making 750s like this because let's be honest. people think the 600s are bit to slow and the liter bikes are a bit to much for the streets. these 750s are just bang on in the middle. same power as the early 2000s liter bikes and just a perfect in between 600 and modern 1000
That’s bad to the bone man! Thanks for the ride-along! I tell it got my heart rate up just imagining it was me! That’s a clean ride. Learning a lot from you. Common sense rules the day I’ll always say! I’m thinking I’ll stick with my lil cruiser and put put around the back roads. Keep the rubber on the ground and the wind in your hair! 🤣✌🇺🇸
I wanted one of these, but the sound on an r1 is so much more enthralling
Brings back memories of my San Diego / LA riding years I miss so much, you simply can’t beat the weather and roads out in the canyons in CA. I gotta go back to ACT and sunrise Highway
Great vid. Makes me REALLY miss my 750.
I am loving the sound of this bike! I just purchased an 07 CBR600rr but if I could have a 2nd bike in my stable I'd probably get one of these.
Man, having all that power in 1st gear is crazy. Looking forward to upgrading my bike eventually, started on a 300NK and I'm loving it, but the one thing that's still disappointing me is the slow top speed from 1st gear. I'll go to have a fun accelerate from a red light, open the throttle and it will immediately top out at like 20mph and I need to be rushing to 2nd and 3rd gear. I'd love some taller gears and more power so I can ride out that acceleration without interruption. Maybe an MT07 or maybe even a GSX-8S for my next bike.
Love the vids!
Sweet ride! Nice lines. Smooth throttle.
Wow, you have come a long way in the last month. Considering all the crap you said about folks like me that daily ride that bike.
What an amazing machine! Raw and powerful! I love it! Be safe! 😎🙏🏼
Gosh that looks good i have it in ALL BLACK but that white two tone is stellar!
A good demonstration of real world high speed trail braking!
Gixxer are just freakin awesome. Got my gsxr750 k8 last week and i love it. So sad that winter is coming:/
It's hard to avoid fallen rock around a blind turn at 90 MPH.
There were way too many blind corners. Going 100+ mph into a corner you could easily put yourself in a no win situation.
Excited to get my K8 in summer
I have a 22 with a cat delete and an M4. Flashed by Moore Mafia. Highly recommend the flash. Makes the bike absolutely rip. Put about 2k miles on this year. I've had a lot of 600s this being my first 750. But damn do I love it! Safe riding, nice video!
Are you happy with that M4 exhaust?
You got those 500 miles really fast. Congrats!
Stock sounds good just imagining how it would sound with full aftermarket exhaust
Absolutely. I had a titanium Akra Evolution III on mine and the bike absolutely howled. And it wasn’t too bad around town. Visceral.
I have a full M4 exhaust and I absolutely love it. I plan on buying another Gixxer 750 and making it track bike with another full M4 exhaust. With the Moore Mafia pops and bangs it's music to my ears.
Sounds good? Are you deaf? That sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
That's insane! 82MPH in 1st gear? That's almost the top speed of my bike.
mine has top speed of 57MPH🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
stock is 170mph but with a K&N FILTER the bike should do 180mph
Top speed on my Vespa 300. Lol
Stock was GPS clocked to 192 mph by MCN a few years back.
Speedo error on stock bike is 6%.
I’m with that! I gotta 600cc n only 4 speed! I think it tops @ 90 in 4th. Idk cause I ain’t tryn to find out! 🤣✌🇺🇸
What a beautiful ride and experience! 🚀
Everything looks great from that cockpit! 👍
Looks like you’re having a blast!
So… you’re happy, right Eddie??
750’s are such a lovable machines…
Torque and power at the twist of the wrist!
I'm looking forward to the tutorials again. I have a 2002 ZX7R and have returned back to riding after nearly 18 years and would love to see some of the low speed control on a similar bike as mine so I can see it can be done. Thank 🙂
An '02 ZX-7R was the first bike I was gonna buy. 🤓 Guy changed his mind at the last moment, so he took me to the Kawasaki dealership and I got me a new '04 ZX-6RR.
Thats some solid riding!🔥Bsafe Coach! Enjoy!
OMG! That is some awesome riding/control! Wish I could do that, but buying a larger bike isn’t the solution I know. I’m still practicing on my cb500x daily for 2.5 years! You are My main coach! Thanks Eddie! (Greg!)
I have a CBR500R since new in 2015. 82,000 km on it. I also have a Street Triple R. I prefer my 500. More power does not mean more fun. Enjoy your CB500X.
Imagine you are at 6th gear 50MPH then he's at 80+ MPH on his 1st gear🤧
Damn man sounding sweet !! I wanna stand there and hear you go by 😂
new to biking, when i accelerate between 15 and 30 mph my bike will whine pretty loud its less noticeable when idle and its gone when i pull in the clutch it never used to happeen ive recently changed the oil and the after replacing the coolant it had issues filling up so i had filled it to the max each time but after a couple rides the tank was empty because i wasnt able to pour anymore in so after 3 attempts i finally got it to take roughly the same amount i drained. the engine oil was replaced too and was fine. the whine only seems to happen once th bike has warmed up its a ninja 300 2015 and it seems the previous owners havent taken care of it much as the bolts were kind of mix and match and it was (and still kinda is but not as much since i replaced the oil and coolant) pretty dirty
I like how you ride, this is how you should ride, on the back roads, nothing too crazy, just a nice pice
This bike sounds SO GOOD with stock exhaust!
No it don't sound weak as shit
Fun to realize that using all the engine is the most fun part. You didn't seem to be going that fast either. Smooth also. Enjoy!
Just enjoy your enthusiastic new purchase
❤🏴 love from Scotland 🏴 ❤
Always enjoy your videos. I would love it if you could set up so we could see your speedometer more clearly (love the new camera).
Sure thing Mr. Police Officer.
@@deedle6073 🤣 (I see what you did there…)
I think I'd probably be lowering the gearing a few teeth if I had one of these... aprox 150mph top end would be plenty for me and the acceleration would be better.
I'd probably only ever hit 170mph on track days tbh.
Is that a new camera? Quality is 🔥
hey buddy
i was dying for the comment section to come back so i can tell you what i think of you and your channel
first of all im an ex military , and ex martial artist and i love bikes so i might be biased here :)
i learned alot from your videos thank you very much
before i bought my ninja 1000sx i went to see reviews about it and i saw your channel and subscribed right away
why do you care about some idiots and their comments man ?
stay strong and keep making those awesome videos
i live in canada i dont have the awesome weather you have , so i need these videos when KAWI (my bike) goes in hybernation for winter
oh now that i mentioned it what is the best way to store the bike for 6 months , with or without fluids
cheers
I'm too old for a full-on sport bike. But your videos make me want to go buy one RIGHT NOW!
No such thing as too old for a Gixxer
No you’re not, I’m 61 & ride a 2014 750 on street & track, you get used to the riding position, I’m on my 3rd 750, amazing bikes!
Thank you for reminding me, why I will never ride a bike with a 4 cylinder inline. The fun starts, when the speed is way above the speed limit. I understand the fun 100% and I will not say, that I always ride within the speed limit (honestly, I am not trying to blame anyone for that). But for public roads I will stay with 2 cylinder torque monsters. If I ever move closer to a track and not having to drive at least 500km to get to one, I might consider a 4 cylinder fun bike just for that purpose.
I know exactly what you mean, my MT09 SP has such a broad power band, no need to wind it up, just power everywhere and the lower peak rpm makes it much more discrete and better suited to the street.
I wonder what lowering the gearing would be like on that 750 i4 though? Wonder if it would make it too hairy..
Amazing engines, so much money and development has gone into them for racing, unlike the engines in ours . Would love to own one even if my licence wouldn't.
@@paulhope3401 Absolutely agree. The MT-09 with that lovely 3 cylinder seems like a really nice bike as well, even though I would personally choose the Tracer I guess, because of the wind protection and so on for long tours.
I am also very sure, if I ever sit on something like a S1000XR, it will be over XD
I think Japanese made bikes like CB400SF for this purpose. Hornet 250 also. Pity CB400SF costs 50% more than same power 2-cyl while imported from the auctions.
@@Wollestarthese bikes your talkin about will easily break the speed limit in 2nd or third gear lol.
@@slimfit767 correct. Not like this Suzuki in 1st gear. And more importantly, you have fun in low rpms and not require high rpms which you can only reach by exceeding speed limits 😉
This engine sound my god it's beautiful
I got used 2017 gixer tuned with Yoshi R-11 with decat. It has 140hp and it's savage in my town :) None from 600cc can't handle it haha in Town where I live. The sound from Yoshi and de-cat it's awesome. Great bike to me but u need to tune it and remove cat and so. ECU Flash!
What a comparison. Im stunned how stupid people are online.
Didn’t know it had a quick shifter did you add it or are you rev matching. Nice day to hit the twistys on the back road
Nice riding Greg! I have to ask, is there much of a police presence on these roads or do you just know the usual spots where they sit?
If you're ever in the Northwest of Ireland, let me know 😃🇮🇪
Just got a new bike bit ago. Only a 500cc first clutch. One thing ive always cringed on is higher rpm. Nervous to take it higher or poor shift prob be worse
time for some track days!!!
Question - are these roads representative for what you call "twisties"? Looking at the video there is hardly a turn to speak about and they really invite to go "flat out" on a bike like this.
And why are there double yellow lines everywhere - seems OK to pass most places.
These are just sweepers. Perfect for blackbird or a hyabussa.
Awesome terrain. What highway it is?
❤ your v lucky 2 have such nice roads
Let's see a "Safe Squidding" series based on the gixxer. Where you teach us all how to be knee-dragging wheelie-popping hooligans... but safely. :^)
that ride was definitely somewhere outside the US...😉😉😉😉...Ride Safe
Buttery smooth 🎉
smooth riding skills.
hey there. maybe there is a chance and somewhen in the future i might be lucky enough to see a video by you to this topic. which is: i have been riding up-righ-sitting-bikes for quite a while now, practising u turns , skill and what not, to no longer blame the motorcycle which is capable to do all the stuff, but me, i wasn´t ...and to big extend still ain´t. but recently i bought a gsx-r 750 and feel like a total noob, thinking of getting a r3 or something similar to practise my cornering, because i feel , sitting and riding the gsx-r like if i never riden a bike through a fast corner bevore.
sure , time and practise will make this better, but is there anything from your experience, that could accelerate this process? and did you experience a stepback as well, or was you start on a 1000cc back than something you can profit now, because you are used to the ergonomics and different feel of a say gixer than an enduro and such stuff.
i am really puzzled and plan to take some courses, but was wondering, what you opinion is there in detail. coming from a BMW F650GS DAKAR, through Tenere 700, now to the GIXXER, which really as said, makes me totaly feel like starting at cornering skill 0 🙂
Greetingz and enjy the babying free time ,-)
Mariusz
So THIS is what you look like on a sports bike on public roads. Terrifying and awesome 🤙🏻
If I shot that route on my MT-03 the video would be at least an hour long 😆
Great video, it's funny how people try to give the GSX R a bad name. Looks like a great bike
Are you trail breaking throughout each corner?
Those roads, i'm so jealous
go down -1 in front and 2 up back ..sprockets .. more torque faster
Wonderful bike! The only thing missing is a yosh pipe... Every Suzuki needs a yosh pipe :)
Why? There are many better sounding exhausts too.
I got a sc project on my 23 gsxr1000 and this is just the slip on let me tell you she purrs nice and deep i can’t imagine putting the full exhaust on it 😮 🫨
You spelled "Hindle" incorrectly ;)
Why bother. He will only have it for a month.
Hey Greg, I live in Brisbane Australia and if you're ever in the country nearby enough to me, I'd love to let you go through some of our twisty roads on my 1990 Honda CBR250RR. Redline at 19000rpm and see how you like that. It would be a pleasure
1990? 250rr? Sounds iffy.😂
@@patrickmba7638your comment makes you look either really young, or really stupid
Google "Honda MC22" for me
My head: "He's not even going that fast"
*Looks at speedometer* 💀💀
At least I don’t have to feel bad speeding in around Otay Lakes anymore after watching this.
Hi, I'd like to see a video about your worst turns recorded and what mistakes you made there. Would be fun and educational :)
I decided that this would be my second bike. I currently have a ninja 400. I want another year or two on it before I get one though. Just for more experience understanding my bike.
don’t think it’ll go to 16k rpm my 600’s redline was 15,250 rpm & i know it’s about 1k rpm less with my new 750 but idk exactly since i still have the 600’s gauge
How long before you get another bike?
Nice Bike!
Hey man! I get a lot of handlebar vibration from my 23' 750 do you have any recommendation on what to do about it? Ive heard swap your grips, tune, etc. Grips didnt really do much and im almost at the point where im going to go get a tune. Anyways thanks for your vids stay safe man!
heavier/bigger bar ends?
Cool now let’s see some wheelies
I drive this road everyday. Such a crazy dangerous road. People are reckless diving out there. I dont know if ill ever ride my bike out there again.
The video we were waiting for!😏
So what is indicated speed at redline in each gear (indicated on mine is 10% faster than real speed) on your 750? I want to compare with my numbers (except 6th - it won't reach redline in 6th).
What's the fastest yours will go on the speedo? My 17 will do 185 on the speedo, with a full exhaust filter and tune
@louiesalads598 too hard for me to say. Whenever my speedo reads over 270 kph, I have this irresistible compulsion to look where I'm going, and not at the hard to see in the bright sunshine digital speedo. I did happen to glance down once last weekend as the speedo was climbing past 283 kph. According to roadside your speed signs, that speedo is 10% too high (sign says 90 kph when I'm doing 100 kph)
@@louiesalads598 176 mph was seen, but she had more in her.
How can you shift up without the clutch??
I have been waiting for this video!!!!! Wind her out!
This needs a link pipe and a tune. Maybe stainless steel brake lines?
At this point you might as well put a quick-shifter on then 👍
Can you tell the difference in driving in case you had an AbS and traction control?
Pretty crazy. If you take the Suzuki speedo error (iirc my SV was high by 8.5% before I calibrated it to gps with the speedohealer) you’re at 76 in first which means where I live you’re basically able to comfortably riding whole twisties in 1st gear 😂 almost would want to put a different chain and sprocket because that 1-2 shift would be in kind of an annoying place for the roads I ride.
The GSXR 750 engine is very smooth and balanced, the power is linear and predictable. It literally makes sense when you ride it and provides a feeling of total control. GSXR is king.
Isle of Man next year 😮
Starting at the point Im not a big fan of japanese bikes, but that Gixxer looks much more planted on the road than the mt 9
@@MrDeepseadwellergot that right.
Because it is.
Im surprised the police dont find you and give out a ticket. Not sure if its possible, I'd hope not!
“I don’t have to baby it anymore” my guy was hitting 10-11k rpm’s in the last videos idt he was ever babying it lmao
I'll have a bet he doesn't keep this one very long, uncomfortable no quickshifter to revvy, brakes not very good next one will be a s1000rr heard it here first
Agreed your already pretty much there anyway
Damn 🤗 Too fast for 1st. My bike's top speed is 57MPH🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 with 4 gears
😂
