Can’t wait for watch dogs series
Can u do a retrospective on Max Payne
Someone in a video randomly sneezes
TH-cam: that's a strike
your mom is proud
Red dead redemption retrospective soon ?
Wow I haven't heard the "Hey Dude" theme song in 30 years and it came back to me like it was yesterday
One of the most under appreciated rockstar games.
FUN FACT: There is a bonus campaign where you play as a wooden dummy. You unlock him by beating the game in Hard mode. What makes it different is that this replaces the Deadeye ability of him being on fire... Which is fun, because you could immolate enemies by walking right into them. This breaks the Pig Josh fight too, which is humorous.
Broooo Pig josh made me rage as a kid and I had my dad beat him for me 😢😢but I love this game so much so good memories when I was young
My dad was born in 64 there wasn’t a chance in hell of him helping me and my brother, my mom could only play ninja gaiden, we sat there and struggled with pig Josh and the Kelly duel for days and weeks
@@saintqueso6946 oh Lordy 😭😭😭 I was about like 5 or 6 when I played thst game lol
I did the exact same thing 😂
I always thought that red dead revolver was more of a spaghetti western game than a movie, it's just amazing.
it is a game
The General Diego mission is definitely the worst mission in the game but I still love it cause it’s pretty much a nod to the bridge scene in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
Randy marsh singing caught me off guard and had me stitches lol, bravo!
This is honestly the first time I've seen footage of the game since I was a kid and god that intro was awesome lol, brought back so many memories. Here's to another one, Fuzzy.
I have waited Rockstar to re-release this game for so long!
I used to have so much fun playing multiplayer with my friends, or passing the controller around if you died when playing the story
This will always be my all-time favorite video game.
Gun is better, isn't it?
My goat series Red Dead 🔥, can’t wait till further installments, preciate your efforts brother 💯
You're right about it being a stacked year for games; but everyone in 2004 knew this was worth at least a rental. Good game!
This is my favorite red dead. So much personality and the multiplayer was so fun with 4 players wish I could’ve played this online
Also I’m not too shocked in this world that a young red isn’t shocked to see death or have caused it
General Diego’s special is that he shoots a flare and a few seconds later cannonballs will be fired to that flare
He was actually my favorite to play in multiplayer
That big flare you see while fighting Darren is definitely a glitch. I replayed played this last year via back compat on xbox and there wasn’t a flare and I also don’t remember that being in the ps2 version either
This game was just one of many great games I played often on the PS2 growing up. Redemption has enough nods to this game even though it isn't supposed to be a sequel and I'm sure almost no one noticed except for the few who played Revolver.
A excellent profile on a 6th gen Rockstar gem, love your editing & commentary!
Bought this game new along with the now rare strategy guide the day it was released.
A fantastic game, music & setting but it's tougher than a cheap steak at times due to horrific save game checkpoints!
"Hey Dude", good call!
Loved this game as a kid, and I played it with my dad and sisters too.
I realize how many times I’ve played it, watching videos about it, I can quote almost every word 😂
Honestly kinda sad this game doesnt get much recognition as it should
Its like a spaghetti western enthusiasts dream made reality (partly)
Glad you managed to get this up OK in the end. Was a bit of a bugger, but used to enjoy this game on the good ol' PS2. Good to see a decent play through/review. Cheers, Fuzzy, see you on the next one.👍
love your videos, brought me back to the GTA lore and story and got me to buy all the GTA's again
red dead revolver 🔥🔥🔥
Damn that intro brought back memories from my Nickleodeon childhood!
cool video, i would love to see your take on enter the matrix and path of neo. : D
Bro i still play this game dueling with my freinds is always a go to good time
That multiplayer is outstanding
@@sven_bender it really is and it like the only game with split screen dueling. turn it to a drink game its endless fun.
Another awesome video, thanks for all of your hard work! Looking forward to the watch dogs installment (was hoping you'd get to those!) and fingers crossed you get to Mafia 2 (best installment in the series) & 3.
pig josh is so difficult to defeat. he made me rage quit many times
I’ve 100%ed the game. Beaten it on all 4 difficulties including Red Wood Revolver, completed Bounty Hunter Mode, gotten all stars on all missions, unlocked everything in Showdown Mode, and played the multiplayer mode with friends. Any questions?
Why would you publicly announce your virginity like that?
I kid, that is genuinely impressive. What was the hardest challenge to complete for you? I remember keeping my accuracy high was always a pain
They kind of incorporated the Perry fight into a stranger encounter in RDR2. The circus group missions ending with the teleporting dwarf.
"How good a weapon is is determined by it's stats" I couldn't have said it better myself
Great work on your chn.. really enjoy the trip back in time to my middle school and high school years. Still remember how insane the community was after GTA 3 came out and blew everyones mind! I always remember a few random games that were extremely popular and ALMOST perfect. Here's a few that I could imagine you doing; Max Payne 2, True Crime New York, Gun, and the game that everyone would talk about simply because you played as 1 of 2 cops who busted drug dealers, and then you could "use" any one of the handful or more of narcotics which gave you different types of weird effects in the game: NARC(I somehow feel like I actually enjoyed the game more than the drug novelty.. but maybe not!).
Great look back at a great game. I played this beyond death back in the day. Absolutely fantastic, and unfairly forgotten in many ways. By the way, I played this back to back on Xbox and PS2 and I will swear that the Diego Bridge level is way, way harder on the PS2 version, for some reason 😮
I bragged abt this game to my friends in college. Now we all play RDO from all over the country.
Thanks for the throwback, Slipps.
Subscribed the second I heard the "Hey, Dude" theme. Holy cow, that is a *deep* cut.
The last few chapters were hard. Going against Kelly, then chasing the governor to mansion. Fighting all soldiers and government agents. The lock pick part was the hardest.
Yeah we always cheezed pig josh by going behind the rock in the outer part of the map, wait till he got to the top near gatling gun, then shoot & hide. It took forever, but trying to fight him any other way was ridiculous
I did the pig Josh fight when I was like 7. You just lure him around the house. You can hide behind those walls. All I do is run around the house and crouch and hide. I never had a huge problem with this fight.
The only part I had HUGE problems with when I was a kid was the general Diego Bridge. That one is still hard as balls.
Fireeeee review!! I loved this game as a kid
That Hey Dude intro really hits in the nostalgia bones
Gun was amazing game really enjoyed it
I was 13 when I played this? One of the few games I ever played on a demo disc that made me want the full game. I had it for Xbox. I remember it took me a few days to beat PigJosh. That's the hardest part of the game until you find that ledge. The same ledge I took advantage of to finally pass that shit lol
Something about the roll animations bothers me immensely 😂
I had a hard time with the Kelly duel, died like 20 times on that section, I don't know why they made that so difficult, anyway can't wait for the Gun review, if you liked this one you'll like that one better.
19:40 that is a remnant of the old version when capcom was still involved, that was way more supernatural (In one of the old trailers you can see one of the characters straight-up flying)
I got my Fuzzy Slippers on for the new Fuzzy Slippers video
Fuckin "Hey Dude" haha
i never once had trouble with pig josh, hes light work with the gatling gun, ive never once ran around the map against him
I had completely forgotten about "Hey Dude" until I heard the theme song at the beginning of the video
red dead revolver was the first rdr
Played this for the first time about a year ago. I loved rdr when it came out and rdr2 is one of my favorite games of all time. This was an absolute joy to play, it was just as fun having none of the realism as it is having it in rdr2. I hope none of them ever get a remake because they all capture something unique, while it doesnt give the most cohesion to the overall story, it makes each game have its own charm. After recent memory being filled with countless open world games that take 30+ hours to explore, it was refreshing to play a no filler all killer acracde style shooter.
This was the first western I played way back in the day I really enjoy it plus the music
Oh hell yea, Hey Dude!!
Absolutely love this game as an kid played it like crazy and then i couldn't even beat redemption without getting bored
Dam I fell old, lmao it really been 19 years since this first released. I remember this lik it was yesterday when this game dropped I was in middle school, lol 2004 I was 14 I remember I couldn't wait till this dropped it looked so 🔥 at the time and it was different this literally was the first Western/ cowboy shooter. This was even before Gun came out.. I use to get those game informer magazines in the mail so I knew about ever single title that was dropping.. memories, lol simple times
@doogieFiveFour lmao, brah we dam there OGs out here
after your respective deep dive into western games I'd love to see your thoughts on j-horror games. so many to choose from.
Rockstar always pay respects to old games so red dead three might have three players jack, Charles, saddie
When I was little I rented this game and failed the damn train mission like 40 times
Red Dead Revolver is part of my childhood and i love playing it eventho it's still hard as balls, as for the question of how it compares to the other western games of the time, simple answer it doesn't Gun is basically like Red Dead Redemption and Call of Juarez it's a FPS first and formost. Comparing all these games doesn't really work especially cause Red Dead and Call of Juarez would both evolve into each game being diffrent from the last.
HEY DUDE theme took me back being 6 yrs old. 90s Nickelodeon was the bomb😅
Hmm, seeing Jill as many times as I have on your videos, I can't help but wonder when and if you'll make a video on VA-11 HALL-A.
Played the hell out of this game. I thought it was so much fun. A now (unfortunately) almost forgotten Rockstar gem. Loved the duels, its gameplay and its world.
Hey man I’ve been watching your videos since the Batman Arkham video, I was really hoping you would consider a fallout new Vegas retrospective if possible really enjoy your commentary
15:45 This whole video is just giving me painful flashbacks.
I THOUGHT FUZZY SLIPPERS HAD LIKE 500k HOW HAS HE NOT BLOWN UP??
We are experiencing the sapling of what will be the redwood of the next generation of youtube.
This game was fun as hell back in the day. I have zero interest in playing redemption due to my own short attention span, but ive been wondering lately how well this game might have aged
It’s funny and also helped me to sleep. Thanks.
Okay, I see Hey Dude, but did I not EXPRESSLY tell you we need Skeleton Warriors next? Jesus christ with this poor customer service
I loved playing as these characters when the first Red dead redemption online multiplayer was still active af. One time i had some weird glitch as Pig Josh in free roam where I kept killing this other player and i was taking so many hits on a red screen but not dying, even the other guy was like "wtf is this guy wearing armor or something" and i was imagining the fat and adrenaline saved him like that one mafia but eventually I did die 😂
And no Red is not Uncle from Red dead redemption. Dan Houser debunked this years ago and this stupid theory is still floating around
The first level as Jack is where I got stuck
Lets gooo
Kids today: “hello CPS my mom won’t buy me V bucks.”
Kids in 1860: “fan fires six rounds into a single home intruder.”
We used to be a country.
This is a brilliant fantastic awesome amazing video on TH-cam i love it 😀❤♥💜😍 And also i love Video Games 🎮
nice vid
I never got to play this but I remember playing gun forever lol
You definitely should play Gun. My favorite wild west game ever
I’ve slept on this series from rockstar for way too long now. I need to pick one up when I’m done with what I have asap
You should totally check out Darkwatch. What a fun, overlooked game. The story takes itself way too seriously, but the gameplay is great.
thanks 👍 can you do the matrix ps2
3:50 your welcome.
Fuzzy how did you make this game looks so high resolution?
It runs at 4k 60fps on Xbox
Here we go again
How did I not know this game existed!?!?
Ayeeeeeee
Any plans on doing Gun or the two newer ones of these. I've loved your GTA and Saints Row videos last night I watched Good the bad and the ugly and I just got done watching for a few dollars more. I know I'm watching them backwards but the years they take place run backwards. Anyway I got interested in someone explaining the story lines of these games and I have found no one that had a video on the story of the games that included the original. I've played some of this and gun but not far enough to know the stories. Controversial opinion I like gun more so far. I've fucked around on the newer games on other people's accounts. But other than that I know very little. I'm interested to see what's going on with the story line of this franchise.
Its the rdr video! Again!
nice video
It was never about the money 💰
48:30 Wheres that tune from?
Let’s go get to watch a fuzzy slippers retrospect to put me to sleep 💤 🔥
Fuck I love this game I’m hyped for this retrospective
played this back on the Xbox.
Bad Bessie got some gyatt tho
How old are you? I can’t believe you used the “hey dude” theme song. I was like 8-10 when that was on tv
Correction, that show started a year before I was born
1:40 I'm a bit concerned you said diss-sentry.
What's the name of the song used in the beginning?
I'm early!
A comment and like for the algorithm
You should try out Call of Juarez Gunslinger.... Its a very good western shooter!
There's a better way of defeating Pig Josh, you stand to the left of the Gatling gun and use your dead eye as soon as you see him!
