That guy who stabbed Batman broke his combo he got what was coming to him.
Agreed. Hate those combo breakers.
Lol Arkham reference I see...
That’s why he got him the worst cuz he broke that combo 😂

2:54 Imagine some huge guy beats all your friends in front of you, breaks their bones and seemingly seems invincible and you watch him walk slowly towards you like this. Anyone would crap their pants. That's the raw brute strength and fear Batman strikes in the heart of his enemies is captured beautifully. Absolutely loved this Batman.
Yeah I also have that feeling
This Batman is my favourite, he's not just a guy that talks too much and is often emotional with criminals, he's a force of justice that behaves like an animal seeking prey, the night's cold wind become personified to fight criminals, i love it

That look at 3 minutes is like "thanks for stabbing me, because now I'm going to really enjoy this" - love it!
Yes the Bat Glare
That's what i loved about this movie. Even good people were terrified of batman
Doesn't help that this Batman is a known mass murderer who not only kills criminals in cold blood but also marks them for death so they are beaten to death in prison.
Terrible take on the character tbh
The only Batman thats truly scary. If i was a criminal in Gotham, and saw Bat Signal in the sky, I’ll shit my pants.
This is one of the rarer fight scenes in action movies where the thugs actually try to attack together and not just one by one. Love that.
This scene has such good choreography and conveys Batman's brutality and fighting prowess
Bales batman just beats up criminals waiting in line
This is by far one the best Batman fight scenes period.
And what about the guy at 1:22 that decided to throw grenade in the room full of his mates despite he could have shot Batman in the back?
@@ajax542 And then put this into perspective - Batman shows up, you're working for a criminal boss, or a boss in some sort of way - you kill Batman when he shows up, that's your objective. Doesn't matter who you kill in the process in terms of criminal bosses minions in gotham etc. You kill the bat, you'll rise in ranks like crazy. Its the same reason why every single person who wants to kill Batman has constant thugs that are never ending. It isn't because it was stupid with the grenade, he expected to throw it unexpectedly and then batman kicked a body at his ass. End of story.
Edric Yeo, I agree, but Bales Batman tells more of an emotional driven story rather than an action Batman. I really wish Warner had put out Snyder’s full 3 hour movie. Would’ve made everything so much more impactful.
Batman: I'm not gonna kill you. But your hospital bills will.
Why does this doesn't have more likes?

Except, he definitel unalived a lot of them - multiple people got bulletholes, 2 guys with the grenade, crate splash on the wall, guy going inside the wall, propane tank explosions... they are not walking those off
But he killed many people here
He literally killed them
@@supergamer-o4637 cuz batman is a legit billionaire. And the other guys are just eh
It annoys me that people don’t like Affleck’s Batman. He was a total badass and it’s obvious he is the most skilled and comic accurate Batman to hit the screen.
He's a murderer, how is that comic accurate?
detective comics version of batman start killing. he got rid of the bad people and start killing them bcoz joker kill robin. its accurate as you see affleck was experience 40-50 yrs old batman and faces a lot of villains
Because on average, he's got a code of not killing when possible. In most cases, he's skilled enough to not kill, and this is one of those cases where he should have been easily able to do everything without doing what he did. Like he didn't know that tossing a giant crate at someone wouldn't at least give them brain damage? Or that he doesn't like using guns if he can avoid it? Yet here the first thing he does is make someone unload a machine gun into EVERYONE around him.
This is NOT a good Batman portrayal. Because Batman only goes to those extremes when he HAS to. When they evolved his character into what they wanted him to be. The only times he really shot someone is when it was the only thing you could do, like when he killed Darkseid with a specially made bullet to kill him.
So not comic accurate. But rather "a jumbled mess of trying to be comic accurate to only a small select handful of Batman comics".
@@KaiserTrigger this batman is experience batman that appeared on detective comics #27. where joker kill robin and batman stop his "no kills rules" bcoz its sign of weaknesses, according to the comics when bruce have arguments with alfred. its quite accurate bcoz this batman was around 45-50 years old. plus this batman have been through a lot and most likely have defeat all of his villains.
@@yes0011 "Defeated all of his villains" doesn't explain a lack of a rule for killing. His whole reason for that rule isn't reliant on whether there are villains to fight. Nor is seeing it as a sign of weakness. His whole reason is always given that he would disrespect his dead parents to do so, and because he's too close to the edge himself that if he did kill, it would just become too easy, and he'd end up becoming nothing more than a murderer by the end of it all.
And also funny that you fail to read the quoted "select handful of comics". A small select handful does not make it "comic" accurate, as if Batman has been like this most of the comics.
He's brutally violent. But not someone who doesn't understand himself enough that he knows his mental limits.
Being experienced also doesn't justify why he would break a rule that's been in most of Batman's portrayals, and a rule that's been given too deep a reason to just throw away for something that's easier to do. His ability to hold himself to that rule, his mental strength, in the face of all his trauma, is a huge factor to why people like Batman more than the average caped superhero, or average anti hero.
The way he turns around at 2:40, like. It's just a split second but tells so much about the tension in this scene. How focused Batman is, absolutely fucking ready for anything. He sees the guy not moving, takes a second for a breather, takes the time to take the knife out of his shoulder, and takes his sweet time pinning him to the wall, and then: retribution. For that one brief moment, he's solely focused on the ONE GUY that actually wounded him to the point he almost completely forgets about the other guy behind him.
Focused, but, oh, he's angry now.
i wish the effort you put into writing this will be the same when i write my essays
@@Twrlsum Haha, you should write something better!
Props to that one mook who actually tried shooting Batman in the head when his back was turned. Didn't work, but it was such a smart move.

ikr my man could've killed at least 2 versions of batman with this move
Yep. Had he aimed for the mouth, perhaps he would have killed Batman.
@@firestar4407 It would have been a weird angle to shoot him the mouth in this scenario. you would basically have to crouch down beside him and angle the gun upwards

This scene is why Batman should always be played by a large man, at least 6' 3-4" and 225-235 rock solid pounds. Not taking anything away from Bale, Pattinson, Keaton etc. All amazing actors, but none of them could convey the sense of weight and brute power that Affleck did. A large man with that much speed, skill and flexibility would be an absolute nightmare, which is what Batman should always be onscreen.

Two things Zack Synder accomplished when taking on Superman & Batman. He gave us glorious fight scenes that are utterly satisfying to watch.
In MOS it is such a delight to see well crafted action sequences that are deft, thrilling, suspenseful. In BvS I’m filled with glee to finally witness a batman fight scene that is awesome. Batman fought like a pro-wrestler or Street brawler in every other incarnation (including Pattison’s batman) here Affleck plays batman like a motherfucking demon.
I love this fight scene because Batman is ruthless, merciless, robust, formidable and calculating. Everything Batman should be when in combat.
The only criticism I have of Nolan’s dark knight trilogy is how limp the fight choreography was. Some of the fight scenes lacked tight, authentic execution, this was made even more obvious when shot in IMAX.
Zack Synder on the other hand is a skilled technician when it comes to fight choreography and visually immersive action sequences. Therefore he made batman into a beast. Batman has to embody a supernatural demeanour in his resolve. It’s an act after all but he must be convincing in his theatrics and Synder captured this brilliantly. Finally a batman who’s actually lethal and kinda scary I love it.
@@EM-tx3lybut like always they forget the most important thing about batman, that is compassion
The thing I like about this is that the thugs are actually fucking smart. They grab Batman's cape, and try and shoot him while his back is turned and actually get some good shots in. They play dirty which makes them so much more realistic. But Batman actually uses his skill/gadgets and displays exactly why he is considered the nightmare he is. As big as my problems with him using machine guns and all that are and I understand peoples dislike towards that. I respect the hell out of Snyder for trying a different approach to Batman, I am absolutely gutted we won't see more of Afflecks Portrayal.
When he use this weapon at the end it was a reference to Frank Miller's Batman The Dark Knight Returns when he saved a child by shooting a Mutant. And Ben Affleck will be back as Batman in the Flash movie, one last time apparently.
As much as i love Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, this action scene alone was better than what Nolan did in all 3 films. Snyder gained my respect for not only having a dope fight scene, but bringing the Batman we all know and love onto the big screen, with the ninja tactics, gadgets, tech, and combat skills. Snyder just set the standard for Batman action scenes, now Matt Reeves has to top this lol. I cant wait to see Reeves vision, with hopefully well choreographed fight scenes.
No they aren’t smart. Martha should be torched the second the Russian headed Batman fucking things up. The guy firing from the whole Batman came from when he went to the ceiling in full view of everyone, the guy showing Batman the pin from the grenade he threw, never once aiming for his uncovered mouth, etc, the thugs are fucking morons
@@sangokus6478
Man, that was an awesome moment that was sucked of any real meaning by Zacks incompetent story telling
They are normal, just common sense, not fucking smart, smart would have been to ran away when they heard he was coming.
the part where he jump into the building from the batwing is amazing. gives authentic batman vibes with a little bit of video game taste if that makes sense
This is one of the coolest and coldest moments in a superhero movie ever. I love rewatching this scene (and the whole movie) every now and again.
This scene alone is better than the entire Justice league movie
And Chris Nolan's borefest
Yup.

brian g I agree
True
It's impressive that some of the goons actually tried to fight smart.
Right? They actually strategized and tried to work together instead of trying to fight Batman one at a time
Even then, it wasn’t enough...Batfleck is just too good
That's how you choreograph a good realistic single-vs-group fight scenes.
Yeah, but Batman is too badass for them
One of them even shoot him to the head.
This is easily the best live action Batman fight scene ever put to film
I watch this every month or so. I could watch this for 2 1/2 hours straight instead of watching, "The Batman".
I think Affleck did a solid job of playing Bats
Something I really like about the fight is how fucking competent the mercenaries are in it.
They run out of bullets, inmendiately pull out knives.
They attack as a team. Not one on one as in many movies.
They even take advantage of batman blind spots.
Not to mention they also went for the head
@@hamzamalik7851 And they used his cape to yank him down
What? Just look at 1:15 as a sample: one mercenary misses 6 bullets, then one mercenary shoots open the door, stands there for a few seconds with a shotgun in his hands, not even aiming at Batman and then just dramatically reveals his grenade that he didn't even bother to throw. This scene is just trashy cinema.
@@emerther5843 Maybe the dude was scared that batman dropped like 5 or 7 of his teammates, but I kinda agree at the shotgun part. That dude could've liked rushed at him and shoot the darn gun
@@emerther5843 probably has happened before- some guy shooting him with a shotgun or any other type of weapon. This Batman has been doing this for years and we can imagine criminals would know of “horror” stories of how ludicrously bulletproof his suit is, or in general about his agility and endurance. Guy pulled out a grenade cause he didn’t want to risk Batman surviving.
I love how Batman literally slammed the guy that stabbed him into a wall and then stabbed him in the same spot.
Yeah me too, if u watch closely that guy got up like 5-6 times, it really shows how angry Batman was with that dude!
@@VTObi4z the mans will to get up that many times after getting knocked out 3 to 4 times and still trying to kill Batman, makes him dangerous

You really see the influence of The Dark Knight Returns on this Batman. The scene where he is pointing the machine gun at the thug with the flame-thrower is almost identical to a panel from that graphic novel.
Great Batman fight scene. Fav part is about 1:40, that suplex into the floor hits about as hard as a freight train.
Don't care what anyone says, Afleck was a damn good Batman.
A pretty badass Batman u mean
Perfect batman you mean?
yea but they did him dirty with the Costume and the script in my opinion. But indeed he is awesome.
yeah he was better than bale but Synder as a director was the problem...way too much going on in this movie
@Isaac Altman bales batman as fighter he was very underwhelming..he sounded like he swallowed glass...he relied on Lucius to make his all his technology.. suits and vehicles and no where near as intelligent as batfleck

Absolutely flawless 💯💯💯
This scene is one of the most pointless scenes in a Batman movie I have ever witnessed.. Batman is using guns to shoot and KILL people… his #1 rule and a motto he lives by is “Vengeance by justice” or to never kill another human being.. he kills at least half a dozen guys in this scene alone.. like the guy who is holding Martha Kent hostage with the flame thrower.. Batman whilst using a gunmans centrifugal force to aim his own gun shot and killed the the hostage taker resulting in a massive napalm explosion of fire.. Batman saved Superman’s mom by shielding her with his cape from the heat of the blast.. never have I seen Batman in any movie kill someone to achieve his goal.. this movie wasn’t all bad but this fight scene was WAYYYYY overrated.. one of the dumbest scenes I have ever seen in a superhero movie whether it was DC or Marvel

@@grimsquad273 I mean, the batfleck got years and years of experience, battinson it's in what? His 2° to 3° year? In the comics like batman year one he was very sloppy and was always taking unnecessary risks, but yeah, the flights kinda let me down
@BEST DOG I think that they Gon do what they did in the TDK, like change to another suit with more flexibility, he just seems too slow
@@grimsquad273 I'd say The Batman is the best in overall aspect, you have the detective stuff going on, and the noir atmosphere really captures the feel of Gotham even in the 21st century that makes the Nolanverse Gotham pales in comparison (still a great trilogy btw).

Don't get me wrong, The Batman fights are pretty solid but Battinson is only supposedly in his 2nd year so he still gets his ass kicked fairly a lot too. in 1980 they interfered with superman 2 and hired a new director to reshoot most of it
in 1994 they interfered with batman 3 which made burton and keaton leave
in 1995 they forced joel schumacher to make batman forever more lighthearted when joel wanted it to be darker
in 1997 they forced joel schumacher again to make batman and robin a toy commercial and pinned the blame on him
in the late 90's and early 2000's they kept canceling the dcau shows for no reason at all
in 2016 they interfered with bvs and cut out 30 minutes and they forced david ayer to make suicide squad just like guardians which is not what he planned
in 2017 they butchered justice league by having joss wheadon reshoot the entire film and they pinned the blame on synder and then kicked him out
in 2022 they fired henry and ben a 2nd time when they just finally got a plan together for the dceu and they make james the pedo gunn head of dc
and in 2023 james the pedo gunns line up makes no sense and is just clearly a way for him to butcher lesser known heros
