I don’t think most people realize that Bruce seeing gods, monsters, and literal aliens fighting from 1:50 - 1:58 is what sparks his idea for the justice league within the DCCU. Imagine being witness to this kind of power, destruction, and supernatural ability.

That actually one of my favorite shots in the movie. At that point Batman basically takes the seat of us, the viewers, watching this fight unfold. It really shows how powerless and human he is compared to these Gods and monsters. I love this version of Batman because of how human he is.
Had they kept Wonder Woman's character a secret throughout the production, this would have been the most surprising appearance yet. A friend of mine had paid no attention to the film's advertisement and was surprised by her appearance.
I'm happy they showed her in the trailer tho, I was only there for her appearance. I knew I could watch BvS in HBO Max, but I wanted to watch Wonder Woman's first official entry in the DCEU

it's really interesting how a director can flesh out a character very differently. Patty brings out WW's compassion and traditional heroism the best but Zack draws her warrior abilities and her thrill of the fight the best as well. I'm impressed that Gal can do both sides of WW really well too!

The CGI is so good in this one. The dynamic interaction is incredible. The drama is real. Batman barely making it. Superman becoming a martyr. It's pure beauty.

Man, Snyder gets Superman. He knows how to make his powers felt by the audience. That thunderous noise in the cloud like a lightning strike as he sped towards Doomsday is beautiful.

This movie for example had plenty of totally pointless scenes and no true logic behind what was going on, batman was painted as a gullible fool that fell for the most basic bait ever to challenge superman and then didn't listen to anything superman said during their fight, that's not batman, he acted more like Guy Gardner that Batman with the bravado and cockiness, and then having human DNA mixed with a Kryptonian maguffin device on that ship being the thing that makes Doomsday and does so by mutating Zods corpse was another ridiculous and dumb idea, why would Luthor ever want to or know to do any of those things? This whole movie would make more sense if you put Luthor in Batmans position, had him mad at superman because of the events of man of steel, had him parade around the idea that superman was a threat, and then have him challenge and take on superman in the end with his battle suit, the fight would happen in metropolis but supermans mom would be still in Gotham, there batman would get involved and save her, ruining Luthors only leverage on superman and allowing him to go all out to take Luthor down. No doomsday or Wonder woman needed. We a batman and superman teamup without a silly fight and a story that makes more sense

when i was young, batman in my eyes was way different from now. he does his job terribly, letting joker out every single time. but as grown up, i can some sort related to him about not killing criminal things because considering killing as some kind of addiction, killing one will make your urge to look for the next kill.

The real Doomsday is around Steppenwolf level (confirmed by Snyder as Steppenwolf stalemated him, destroying a whole planet in the process). This one is a knockoff, but is almost as strong. Still, we saw that Steppenwolf was capable of beating Wonder Woman, even when she had help from Arthur, Flash and Batman. He struggled, but he managed. And we saw what Superman could do to Steppenwolf when he was healthy. So this all adds up. Doomsday is roughly on par with Steppenwolf. Wonder Woman was capable of fighting Steppenwolf head on, but not capable of winning, same with Doomsday here. This shows that Superman is badly weakened during this fight (you see this especially clear right at the end where he can barely fly) as he'd otherwise be capable of beating Doomsday by himself like he did Steppenwolf. A weakened Superman is only a little bit more powerful than Wonder Woman, meaning similar in speed also. You can still see that he's faster and stronger, but his strength, speed, and especially durability and regeneration is lacking thanks to the Kryptonite as it keeps his cells from functioning.

This fight scene will never get old. I’ve probably watched it over 300 times. The only thing I wish we got more of was some team combos like we saw with Wonder Woman tripping Doomsday and Superman spearing him into the ground. After that it mainly fell to 1v1 fighting which I’m not complaining about at all. This movie will forever hold a core nostalgic memory in my life.
Unfortunately, the franchise that does that is more popular with the general audience. People are weird. Or rather, most people dont read the comics and expect the wrong things from a comic book movie.🤦♂️

I don’t think people understand just how epic this is. This is the first time we got The Trinity in a live action movie and it was incredible. This fight is right out of a comic book- I get chills every time I watch it.
My favorite aspect about this fight is how the Trinity just immediately starts working together. There's no big speech, there's only one quip between Superman and Batman beforehand, and there's no begrudging egos to work around. All three just immediately jump into action to take down Doomsday and do what they can to support and back each other up until Doomsday is dead. It's fantastic.
Well, yeah, all three understand that Doomsday is a literal energy bomb, astronomically more critical to defeat than whatever petty squabbles they have with each other.

Doomsday also tosses Wonder Woman around as you can see just before she cuts his arm off. The one advantage Wonder Woman has over Superman is that she is trained in martial combat, while Superman relies more on his overpowering strength. This is likely why Superman is being tossed around, without the advantage of his strength he is a mediocre fighter, but certainly much stronger than any of the Justice League.

I love how Batman patiently waited for the right moment to use the kryptonite grenade. Even in such a dangerous moment he's still so calculating. Brilliant!
Batman can become more powerful and competent without any inherent supernatural powers. He was relies on nurtured training (such as scientific knowledge, advanced technologies, detective skills, athletic prowess). He is one of the amazing non-superhuman heroes in my opinions.

Wonder Woman was so underrated in this fight. I feel at the end Superman and Batman were the main characters when she trapped him, cut his leg off, cut his arm off. And weakened him a whole lot. She did more work than anyone. You see Superman get thrown around while she is just grinning the whole time
She did do the most, but she was using weapons from the start, Superman wasn't. I know in the comic battles of the past she hasn't been able to go hand to hand with Doomsday, while Superman has had mixed results.

Third Flash runs that way because he runs like it's speed skating, like how the speed force is a separate dimension exists in the universe and when he is in it, he needs to use technic like that to be the most efficient, remember when Bruce asked about Flash' suit and he said he does competitive skating?
This scene is perfection, just like the DC Trinity. Zack Snyder captured it so perfectly. It's such a shame we probably won't get to see these three together again.

I think it was less about Superman and more about Batman. It was very slow in parts. Besides the Truth is that Batman would really not have a chance to beat Superman. People like to talk about how smart Batman is but Superman has superior intellect. He could have taken out Batman from a distance out of Batman’s range.
It left a lot to be desired…like most of the movie should have been like this battle as far as lasting impression goes…too much GOD speeches, and that weak portrayal of Lex Luthor (Jr)…

The thing that makes me love this clip is 4:06. The tremendous will power is incredible. Superman uses his other hand to grab onto one of doomsday’s spikes. In order to push the spear deeper into doomsday, he needs to use the leverage of the spike, therefore pulling it deeper into himself. He truly did have indomitable willpower.

Let me list the feats he has - Manhandling Superman - Taking on wonder woman and superman with low difficulty - Picking up a car like it's a bouncy ball - Absorbing WW's attacks and getting stronger from them - Grabbing Superman from the air while he's flying (superman is insanely fast when flying) - Taking minimal damage from WW's attacks and SM's attacks - Being able to overpower SM's laser beams with ease

Wonder woman's introduction is the most badass intro in the history of badass intros. That theme jist adds up to it by 10x. My favourite is that brief smile she has after she falls on the ground like "oh I've waited so long for something like this".

This whole scene is incredible for sure. But i especially love shot from batman perspective. It show this fight from human eyes. You watching literally godlike mythology fights from old paintings. But in action. Brilliant.
The scene sets itself apart from other superhero films. Didn't need hero poses, or comedic moments. Just pure combat, what the people want. It's amazing how each actor portrays their role so realistically too. The physical pain of using laservision for too long. Batman's frustration at being seemingly useless. WW battle cries not being excessive. The small things

@@ajiroclovertail992 he should have been doing this at the batcave then arrive just in time, here's a scenario, using the batwing as a stabber he can attach the staff to the front part, and use the batwing to stab the kryptonite impaling it at a highspeed, batman can do something, he just needs to be written well. in these types of fights, he was doing awesome in the warehouse fights, they need to learn off that he's tactics and machinery and iq and will power...Batman can do more than most people know in these types of fights. He would have made Wonder woman look like she was doing nothing, and possibly Superman. but they can't make the human look strong too so I guess they dialed him back a bit. i always liked that about comics they never were afraid to show how strong a human could be if with all of hes skills combined.
If anyone noticed, at 4:29, when Doomsday was defeated and fell down, the spear that gone through his heart literally got contact with the ground behind his back and kind of push out the other way. Most films that have a person penetrated by a spear would just lied down cold and the spear would just stay right where it is instead of being pushed out or seep deeper into the person's body by the ground. A very nice detail added to this film I'd say!
I thought it was amazing and powerful how Wonder Woman was able to follow Superman’s lightning fast speed with her eyes once she heard him re-enter the atmosphere!!! Epic stuff here ladies and gentlemen!!! Respect to Zack Snyder!
At this moment it was more sound-speed, which Wonder Woman can achieve too. But I don't think she could follow at lightspeed, only Flash can. We saw in Justice League she didn't catch the little fight between Flash and Superman.

That actually one of my favorite shots in the movie. At that point Batman basically takes the seat of us, the viewers, watching this fight unfold. It really shows how powerless and human he is compared to these Gods and monsters.

it's really interesting how a director can flesh out a character very differently. Patty brings out WW's compassion and traditional heroism the best but Zack draws her warrior abilities and her thrill of the fight the best as well. I'm impressed that Gal can do both sides of WW really well too!

This movie for example had plenty of totally pointless scenes and no true logic behind what was going on, batman was painted as a gullible fool that fell for the most basic bait ever to challenge superman and then didn't listen to anything superman said during their fight, that's not batman, he acted more like Guy Gardner that Batman with the bravado and cockiness, and then having human DNA mixed with a Kryptonian maguffin device on that ship being the thing that makes Doomsday and does so by mutating Zods corpse was another ridiculous and dumb idea, why would Luthor ever want to or know to do any of those things?
This whole movie would make more sense if you put Luthor in Batmans position, had him mad at superman because of the events of man of steel, had him parade around the idea that superman was a threat, and then have him challenge and take on superman in the end with his battle suit, the fight would happen in metropolis but supermans mom would be still in Gotham, there batman would get involved and save her, ruining Luthors only leverage on superman and allowing him to go all out to take Luthor down.
No doomsday or Wonder woman needed.

The real Doomsday is around Steppenwolf level (confirmed by Snyder as Steppenwolf stalemated him, destroying a whole planet in the process). This one is a knockoff, but is almost as strong. Still, we saw that Steppenwolf was capable of beating Wonder Woman, even when she had help from Arthur, Flash and Batman. He struggled, but he managed. And we saw what Superman could do to Steppenwolf when he was healthy.
So this all adds up. Doomsday is roughly on par with Steppenwolf. Wonder Woman was capable of fighting Steppenwolf head on, but not capable of winning, same with Doomsday here. This shows that Superman is badly weakened during this fight (you see this especially clear right at the end where he can barely fly) as he'd otherwise be capable of beating Doomsday by himself like he did Steppenwolf. A weakened Superman is only a little bit more powerful than Wonder Woman, meaning similar in speed also. You can still see that he's faster and stronger, but his strength, speed, and especially durability and regeneration is lacking thanks to the Kryptonite as it keeps his cells from functioning.

This fight scene will never get old. I’ve probably watched it over 300 times.
The only thing I wish we got more of was some team combos like we saw with Wonder Woman tripping Doomsday and Superman spearing him into the ground.
After that it mainly fell to 1v1 fighting which I’m not complaining about at all.

My favorite aspect about this fight is how the Trinity just immediately starts working together. There's no big speech, there's only one quip between Superman and Batman beforehand, and there's no begrudging egos to work around. All three just immediately jump into action to take down Doomsday and do what they can to support and back each other up until Doomsday is dead. It's fantastic.

The thing that makes me love this clip is 4:06. The tremendous will power is incredible. Superman uses his other hand to grab onto one of doomsday’s spikes. In order to push the spear deeper into doomsday, he needs to use the leverage of the spike, therefore pulling it deeper into himself. He truly did have indomitable willpower.

I don't think people realise how powerful doomsday is. Let me list the feats he has
- Manhandling Superman
- Taking on wonder woman and superman with low difficulty
- Picking up a car like it's a bouncy ball
- Absorbing WW's attacks and getting stronger from them
- Grabbing Superman from the air while he's flying (superman is insanely fast when flying)
- Taking minimal damage from WW's attacks and SM's attacks
- Being able to overpower SM's laser beams with ease
He was still getting stronger too

Wonder woman's introduction is the most badass intro in the history of badass intros. That theme jist adds up to it by 10x. My favourite is that brief smile she has after she falls on the ground like "oh I've waited so long for something like this".

This whole scene is incredible for sure. But i especially love shot from batman perspective. It show this fight from human eyes. You watching literally godlike mythology fights from old paintings. But in action. Brilliant.
The scene sets itself apart from other superhero films. Didn't need hero poses, or comedic moments. Just pure combat, what the people want.
It's amazing how each actor portrays their role so realistically too. The physical pain of using laservision for too long. Batman's frustration at being seemingly useless. WW battle cries not being excessive. The small things

@@ajiroclovertail992 he should have been doing this at the batcave then arrive just in time, here's a scenario, using the batwing as a stabber he can attach the staff to the front part, and use the batwing to stab the kryptonite impaling it at a highspeed, batman can do something, he just needs to be written well. in these types of fights, he was doing awesome in the warehouse fights, they need to learn off that he's tactics and machinery and iq and will power...Batman can do more than most people know in these types of fights. He would have made Wonder woman look like she was doing nothing, and possibly Superman. but they can't make the human look strong too so I guess they dialed him back a bit. i always liked that about comics they never were afraid to show how strong a human could be if with all of hes skills combined.

Does anyone know who did the special effects do the fight scenes
If anyone noticed, at 4:29, when Doomsday was defeated and fell down, the spear that gone through his heart literally got contact with the ground behind his back and kind of push out the other way. Most films that have a person penetrated by a spear would just lied down cold and the spear would just stay right where it is instead of being pushed out or seep deeper into the person's body by the ground. A very nice detail added to this film I'd say!

At this moment it was more sound-speed, which Wonder Woman can achieve too. But I don't think she could follow at lightspeed, only Flash can. We saw in Justice League she didn't catch the little fight between Flash and Superman.
