For those people who are still angry with Batman using guns, think about this for a second. The world has gone to shit thanks to Darkseid and a mind controlled Evil Superman. The majority of the world have fallen victim to Darkseid and have become his Parodemons. It's up to Batman and The Flash to fix everything. Batman is in a position where he has no choice but to break his 2 rules (no guns and no killing). This version of Batman is an old, experienced, Robinless, been through some shit Batman, and can't rest until he saves not only the world, not just universe, but the entire multiverse. So Batman using guns and killing people is justified.

They should have just done the entire movie in this time frame, its frightening to imagine a post apocalyptic mad max style world where superman has gone mad and rules the world
But noooo... we needed to cut the movie for time
The thing is, it really kinda needs us to have an empathic relationship with Clark first, so us the viewers can be shocked when we see him as this superpowered dictator. The treatment the Snyder films make of Superman is kind of dehumanizing, showing him as some godlike alien that has little connection with mankind aside from acting as its protector. And that's a bummer, because Clark, having being raised as just another kid, should be more human, more empathic, and more likeable. To be able to reach this point in the narrative would need a total overhaul of Superman in the films, something that I hope happens by recasting him and having the writers show us the more human side to his character

This was literally the second time we see this version of Superman and the first time we see this version of Batman and yet people are crying about wanting different types of characters arcs yet we haven't even established any type of story for any of these characters.
Why should I care about this Bruce Wayne? Establish this characters story where I should actually give a fuck about him. So me what has caused this Batman to become what you are showing us on screen or else why should I care that Bruce is struggling to come to grips with the fact that if Superman decides he doesn't want to help out the world anymore Bruce cant do anything about it.

If chronology is a thing within Bruce's dreams then its safe to say that maybe it was only Batman that got away from Superman's attack at the end of ZSJL, then made his way onto the Kryptonite deal.

I like this scene so much. It’s probably one of the most badass scenes I have ever seen. I like how the Knightmare Batman (even though he is losing most of the fight) kills a lot of the Superman soldiers and even when being pinned down managed to snap a soldier’s neck

In bvs we saw flash appear to warn bruce. In JL we did not. This tells me what Bruce saw is linked to himself and not a message from flash.

One of the coolest things cinematically speaking in the DCEU. The scorched Omega symbol in the horizon, the terraforming wasteland, the parademons in the backdrop, Batman’s coolest live action design to date…so much to positively soak in.
Really wish we could’ve gotten this movie at some point despite my mixed thoughts on the entire DCEU as a whole.

It still is out of context, it’s not like that changes because it was explained later. Zack himself learned from this, since the Knightmare flashes in ZSJL are much shorter and don’t break the flow of the movie. This definitely does. Although I’ll give you that it’s an awesome short film in and of itself.

The DCU is much more dark than the MCU and i kinda like that.
I like that it's dark, i prefer the MCU a lot more but i like that they're making something different, Shazam! was pretty good but i personally think that they need to know when to balance it, superman shouldn't be dark, batman should, aquaman and wonder woman and shazam were good because they handled the characters with the right tone.

@@Randomized_tv In my opinion if they wanted to make Superman dark then they should've made him light and hopeful first throughout early films and kill him off in Superman 3 with Doomsday and then bring him back in a future Justice League film and make it 3 parts where part 1 Darkseid wins part 2 Dark Superman and part 3 probably defeat Darkseid and would manipulate Superman with the anti life equation for the end of part 1 probably so make it into 3 parts in my opinion. But before making him you would've needed the audience to connect to him before going into this direction. Then you could kill him off in a 3rd Superman or Justice League film and not have him come back for multiple films until Darkseid arrives on Earth
