They tell you right up front, on these machines, do the first oil change within 100 miles or like 10 hours, whichever comes first. And don't be surprised if in that first oil change if you see some "slight" metal shavings on the magnetic drain plug.

For one you should have done an oil change before warranty was up. That would be the wise thing to do. You can’t blame them for not replacing it. A one year warranty is a 1 year warranty. Do your part and change oil regularly and inspect . Who is to say you didn’t try to run that in with an impact? And is far as Chinese goes what did you think you were getting for the price. I have a $ 30 000 Polaris UTV and it has Chinese bearings in it .
When I bought mine it had what they called (break in oil) in it and I was told to change it after the machine was ran for 5 hours so if mine has this issue when I do my oil change it will be under warranty, did yours not come filled with break in oil that had to be changed after 5 hrs ride time?
Looks like someone had that oil pan apart at some point. The bolts next to the drain plug hole have extensive rounding of the corners like someone used the wrong size (metric/standard) to turn them.
Steered me clear, It was the final straw regarding whether or not I purchase a Hisun after watching a hundred UT400 vids. Thanks for the testimonial and sorry for your loss.
I’m kinda late for replying now, but anyway.....I’m a auto tech that has been stuck with similar situations over the years. You can purchase an automotive repair drain bolt that has a smaller bolt in it or even a little valve in it. You can opoxy/JB Weld the bolt in permantly and drain the oil though the smaller bolt or valve.
Good luck getting any manufacture to stand behind a product you didn’t do a break in oil change on for over a year and almost 200 miles! If you would have done the oil change when you should have you would have discovered this problem well within its warranty period.
In my research, I also learned that Coleman 500 Outfitter is a rebranded Hisum UTV from China. John Deere uses a Chinese Chery (a play on Chevy?) engine in their Gators. The Chery engine is an automobile engine used in many cars in South America, Asia and probably Europe. With that being said, you might think you''re buying a better quality American or Japanese branded product but it may have cheaper quality Chinese components.
I was in Tractor Supply today and these have a 2 year warranty now. I have Coleman go karts and a mini bike and they're built very well. No issues at all in over a year.
Why would you wait a year before first oil change? I have a Massimo ( hisun) .. Over 200 hours and still going strong. Hisun is a quality Chinese manufacturer that sells many different components for companies like yamaha
Clean the hole and the bolt with brake cleaner spray. JB weld the bolt in. Buy a battery powered oil suction pump use it through the dipstick hole for future oil changes. Problem solved.
Or C you over tightened it putting it back in put oil in it and took it back out because it was leaking that's new oil on the bottom of the block not 49 hour oil next time use a tq wrench
I just saw your videos on the utv and was thinking that you could have saved yourself some headache's if you would have done your due diligence and some maintenance. I have owned several vehicles in my years and have never had any issues when I followed the manufacturer maintenance schedule. Time to take some responsibility for your lack of action and not try to shift blame onto someone else.
Dude you are full of it. That's a manufacturer defect. Sure maybe if he'd changed the oil earlier and discovered the problem within the warranty period they may have covered it, but maybe not. And then Hi sun repair parts to this day (10-2024) are expensive and the online parts service is messed up. I just put a new rear axle in a 2018 model with 110 hours on it.
I don’t feel like reading through the comments. I did hear you say that your son was on it. Any chance he broke the exhaust pipe off and smashed the oil pan? I’m just saying. Exhaust pipes don’t jump off by their self. You should call the sheriff. Seems you have an exhaust pipe and oil pan smasher on the loose.
They do when bolts are either over or under tightened or just when made from low quality Chinese metal that was probably mined by a 12 year old and refined by a 5 year old
You could do as Darrell said in his comment and get an expanding drain plug or find out the exact side of the drain plug along with the thread size and buy a helicoil kit for it. You would be required to take the oil pan off and drill the hole out with the included drill bit that normally comes in the helicoil kit. Then use the tap that comes with the kit. Once tapped, carefully screw in the helicoil to where it's just below flush so the new oil plug gasket will seal against the pan. Be sure to clean any debris off before reinstalling it to the engine. You dont want that floating around in the oil pan. I do many helicoils where I work and they are typically stronger then the cast iron I use them on. So in your case, being aluminum, it will be a lot stronger. If your not comfortable trying the helicoil kit yourself, take the oil pan to a local mechanic in your area and they would probably do it for a small fee. Hope this helps. Hope your able to get the UTV up and running again.
Maybe the oil should have been changed Months earlier as it is recommended by any engine and oil producer, for many reasons. The problem would have been found then.
The lower pan is super clean at the break points, it probably broke when the aluminum on the tip of the drain bolt caught and jammed then broke the corner of the pan off.
See so much of this. These retailers sell these machines. They don't do a proper pdi. Most importantly they don't change the oil. The oil that comes in Chinese equipment is only there to prevent rust during shipping and storage. I have fought with people on here over this fact. My last purchase was a 150cc scooter and I sent the oil in it to Blackstone labs. There were no additives in it at all. Not something you want to run. Looking at your plug this is definitely a defect from the factory and should have been caught when the oil was first changed unfortunately it was just too late. People need to realize when they buy Chinese machines they are cheaper for a reason and check them out. Sorry this happened to you.
Bought Coleman Outfitter 550 in 2018. It has been not running more than it runs. Hard to find anyone to work on it due to being off brand. I am now trying to sell it. Bought from Tractor Supply which no longer sells in store. I was told you have to ask for title at time of purchase or they don't supply. I still don't have a title. NO, I wouldn't buy another one.
There is no way something didn't bounce off of that plug at one point. The ONLY other option is that the plug was screwed in with a large impact driver. The case is cracked in several places! That doesn't happen by slightly over-tightening with a hand wrench.
Tractor Supply has same thing only called Massimo and it's warrantied for a year! By the way, grease n lube and locktite everything when you buy these side by sides for SAFETY sakes
Look up problems and complaints. Literally nothing but PROBLEMS with everything you can imagine. No one will work on them very difficult to fix, very difficult to get parts. When you do fix it the same part breaks very soon afterward. Do yourself a favor use your head invest in used arctic cat, polaris, yamaha, honda or e-ton. Mossimo products are JUNK!!!!!!!!
Hisun is made in China, but it's assembled in Texas. Before I bought one I researched Polaris Ranger UTVs and where they're made. Well it turns out that Polaris uses roughly 80% of foreign parts in their machines and ALL Polaris ATV and UTVs are assembled in Mexico. They can stamp it with the "Made in USA" sticker because corporate offices are in America. My conclusion is: It really doesn't matter what you buy now days because it's all Chinese parts even if it's assembled here.
Yes sir. And who assembles these machines is very important. Many of them come to the dealer in a crate. Your average young person working as an assembler at a dealership or retailer (Tractor Supply, Cabellas, etc.) is actually learning as they go. Good help is hard to find.
I'm small engine repair and yes Coleman has not done very well in the warranty dept, so to speak. I have a one in my shop that has the exhaust bolt broke off in the head which needs a new head or spend hours drilling it out. I found out that Coleman is mainly giving customers there money back even with a month of warranty left. Sorry to hear about all the problems people are having good luck!
Thanks for the video, I've been seriously looking at the Hisun Sector 750 EPS Model. My friend bought one just yesterday and we both have been fairly impressed with it so far. He's got 60 miles on it now after two days and is going to change out the break-in oil with a new filter and oil this week. It's of course under warranty right now and I certainly hope he doesn't experience the same thing!
you may be able to take it to a good welding shop that can weld alum and put heli coils where the threads should be. Keep all the pieces, so he has something to work with.
Those on here saying the "big brand" machines can be bought for the same or less are full of it - maybe for an older used one, but with the accessories it's more like double the dollars! I'm not thrilled with Coleman's deceptive trade practices - the manual and online specs say the UTV500 comes with a 2 inch receiver (that works with standard 2 inch hitch products), but it doesn't. They have a botched solution with 1.25 inch tube and a retainer pin of 1/2 inch instead of 5/8 inch.
Jesus, 191 miles for your first oil change. Sounds like your utv was self destructing due to poor owner maintenance. Did you even grease anything lol , you should have done your first oil change at 45-50 miles man.
lol, yeah that got me perked up. that machine must have been driven into the ground. If he's anything like my son WAS. Now my son is older and has grown a brain.
Who wrenched on the bolt next to it? looks suspicious to me. Broken exhaust manifold and busted oil pan? someone was probably Evel Knievel'd that thing. Ask your kid.
I have an outfitter 550 and it’s horrible. Yeah sure it’s decently speedy going 45 mph but it just keeps breaking so we’re selling it and possibly getting a kubota
just another thought try having a good welder look at and see if they can weld that corner back on and for the hole drill out hole for a heil coil, just buy a kit, bit, tap, and insert tool, and heil coils, just make sure u use a sti tap, if that dont work u can also go bigger on hole and buy a some stock and drill hole out and 271 loctite in let sit for 30 min or a hr then drill hole out to oem size then make sure everything is clean then bolt her up make sure u use ft lbs on every stud to the oem specs, or if u cant weld buy a new pan dude
It’s not the problem that drives me away from purchasing , it’s the customer service and or lack thereof. They should work with you on finding a solution to repairing or replacing the engine. Thanks for posting, I’ve really never been a Coleman person and definitely not now for sure. Good luck
the cracks in the oil pan says that the two cavity plug sandwiched together and that broke the pan collapsing the outside to the inside. looks like a bad china design. should have been two plugs. one for each cavity.
Find a piece of brass threaded tubing use thread tap put a valve on it more thread tap and crew that valve into what's left of the thread next time u change just open the valve u may have to make your own depending on threads
Thanks I was looking at a 400 An asking if it had differential lock Havnt got answer yet but might today But good to know Sounds like a piss.poor dealership. Cause someone should step up and help
There's a sticker on the firewall that will tell you Hisun - made in China. The Chinese manufacturers are a bit odd... You can find shoes that are VERY well made - good uppers, soles, etc... great fit, good price... wear them for a month and the thread is so cheap it will break and your shoes fall apart... Over and over I've seen it for years. I bought a starter recently... I was impressed by the quality!!! It looked like it would go on a show car!... I attempted to put it on and couldn't get the top mount bolt to start... several times trying got me nowhere... so I took it back out and in the shop I was able to see that the top mount flange hole was drilled at a slight upward angle... if I COULD have gotten the bolt sarted in the bellhousing, it would have broken the alminum starter casting - NO DOUBT! so by reaming gently with stainless brushes on my drill I was able to open the hole up slightly and mount it. The starter itself seems to work perfectly. SO FAR. Millions of these have been made and I imagine sold thru all the popular parts stores. I wonder how many were broken and the installer blamed???
I have seen worse... on much more expensive machines. I bet whoever assembled it out of the box did that. It very much looks like it was waaay over torqued like you mentioned. I refuse to let others touch my machines. I would fix it and move forward. I once had a high-quality Japanese motorcycle with a made in Japan engine. The engine oil drain bolt did essentially the same thing (Almost all threads ripped out)... but in a parking lot while on a 5k mile road trip!!! The case was still solid though. I took the battery out and fuel tank off... layed the bike on it's side... and drilled/tapped the hole to a larger size and installed Helicoil threads. They distribute the bolt torque out on the threads for the bolt so that won't happen again. Stood the bike back up and poured 10 gallons of oil through it since the metal shavings were inside the case now. Put it back together and didn't have a problem ever since. I have a VERY cheap mower with a Chinese made engine in it that is about 12yrs old, abused, and still running strong. My more expensive commercial mower engine is also a Chinese engine. Heck, I even know of expensive BMW engines that are made in China these days. I do wish the USA were as lean and mean as it used to be for making things for the world. Sadly, the government has grown too much and has sucked the life out of our nation. Some are still hanging on by a thread but that may not last long. No worries though. Just like in China, I am sure the government will be there to "Save" them when they fall.
Yes, it is all up to who assembles these things. These machines come over in a crate. Then the dealership (retailer, Tractor Supply, Cabelas) assembles them. But this was a factory assembled item I would guess. But maybe not. I know a guy who assembles at a Tractor Supply. He said be very wary of machines assembled at the retailers these days. You really got give everything a good looking over during that 1st year with warranty coverage.
Well I'm having similar problems with my American sportworks crew cab utv and it's just out of warranty by a couple months. On the tailgate it says built in the USA but it's just Chinese junk!!
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ this video appears to be somone who messed up by removing a crank case bolt not an oil plug and then trying to blame someone else. The oil plug on this machine looks nothing like that.
Just weld the aluminum pieces back in, then use a thread insert after drilling out the bolt hole. Do a search for stripped bolt hole repair. Fast, cheap and easy to do. You might need to remove the aluminum part to have it welded. Car builders have been doing this for many years. You can find thread inserts at your local auto parts store. Ignore the insults as you can't go back. No need to buy a new motor either. Sigh...
I cannot blame Coleman for shitty and sloppy mechanic workmanship. That oil plug was cross threaded and not the blame of the manufacturer imo. I’m a retired mechanic who worked at the trade for 38 years and can see nothing here the blame of the oem of this UTV. This video doesn’t deter me from buying this product as I believe it is unfair to blame the company for poor workmanship by the maintenance person. That said, I’m buying one shortly and will certainly give a fair report on this vehicle after using it over time.
Soooo, it's normal for the engine to crack at the drain plug when removing the drain plug at less than 50 hours on the machine? LMAO and you're going to buy one,,,, LMAO again,,, wow CHINESE JUNK ! ! ! You get what you pay for ! ! !
@@exposescriminals I thought my comment over after seeing your response here and in hindsight I shouldn’t really blame the guy for being upset. I wasn’t present to see the drain plug installed or for that matter any of the maintenance done on this vehicle, so I shouldn’t blame the maintenance because it could very well be the factory personnel that messed up these threads. I don’t like the fact that there are two sets of threads that must be matched up with screwing in the drain plug as that alone is poor engineering imo. Yeah, I think I’ll stand with the owner here as he should have been better compensated for this set of defects. I’m not too proud to admit a bad decision as I believe I made here.
Decided not to buy one of these UTV’s and instead bought a Japanese mini truck 4x4, and glad I did. My problem with this company is that they didn’t stand by their product and treat this customer fairly.
Well said description of experience encountered in purchase of a Coleman product. The cut off of the warranty based on the type of failure that occurred is just Mickey Mouse. It should have been repaired without further question. Too bad the owner, who appeared to be an honest guy with a legitimate complaint couldn't just put the whole thing in a trash bag and ship it back to China. Based on what I read here, I won't buy any Coleman products in the future in spite of being someone who is active in outside activities such as off road vehicles. Coleman made a poor decision here and it will likely cost them a lot more than this repair might have.
What am I missing? Why hasn't anyone suggested... why wouldn't asking for a new oil pan not be the solution? Why does he need a new engine? Why all these other solutions about welding and heli coils? Shouldn't a new pan and bolt be the simple solution?
The Coleman outfitter 550 is a better option I read the reviews on it and nobody had any problems with it and you can get the outfitter 550 from tractor supply I always read the reviews before I buy that's my secret to getting a better utv I'm getting the outffier 550 after I have had my new pickup truck a little while
Look up problems and complaints. Literally nothing but PROBLEMS with everything you can imagine. No one will work on them very difficult to fix, very difficult to get parts. I'm 100% for buying a brand name UTV/ATV. I favor Polaris... Follow the Owner's Manual word for word.. especially first oil and filter change. Changing AIR FILTERS on ORV are mandatory!! I inspect mine after each day run... Blow them out or replace them if they're beyond cleaning. Oil and Filters are cheaper than replacing main components. Keep the radiator washed clean. Grease the grease points faithfully after harsh trails and weekly if just regular trails. GREASE; OIL; FILTERS; WATER.... That's your part!! MAINTENANCE
You are lucky it still ran after running it nearly 50 hours on the break-in oil you voided any warranty period if you bought any brand they want take the treatment you have done to this machine and if you read your owners manual like you said it tells you the first 3 tanks of fuel or 25 hours change the oil and filters I think you are trying to shame the company into fixing your mistakes . I have a 700 Hisun and love it but you are the problem and no your no mechanic or handy in anyway ! SMH AND ITS OBVEOUSE YOU HAVE RAN OVER SOMETHING AND BROKE THE MANIFOLD AND THE OIL PLUG ! MAYBE JR HAS BEEN TAKING IT FOR SOME LATE NIGHT ADVENTURES HUH LOL
Just watch your video in man I'm glad I did .I've been looking at them the last couple months and looking at prices on other ones. I don't buy anything that's from China anymore sometimes it's hard to find stuff made in the USA but I want to support our country
99% of mechanically operated machine's have Chinese components. 100% of all manufacturers do. This wasn't a China error. This was a user error . I too want to support America and try to buy everything made here. But that's gonna limit your options to food , clothes, hand crafted specialties. Anything electronic has China written all over it. This guy blasting Coleman just put American jobs at risk , his mistake and him complaining and not taking responsibility is causing people on this thread not to buy this brand which by the way is assembled here by Americans . So he's putting Americans out of work. Anyone with a logically thinking brain can see this.
@@joshuasalcedo3630 nah everyone in the comments like "dont blame coleman, you just don't treat it good" are brainwashed. Coleman, Their Products, and Customer service is horrible. Bought a new rear tire, toolkit, and a clutch bolt that took almost 2 months (ordered november 2020, came december 30th) to come in and they got the clutch bolt wrong along with the 4 wrenches that should of came with 5. I sold my Mini bike in March(5 months ago) Nothing but problems. chain falls off constantly, loud squeaking noise when rolling, clutch backs out, muffler loosens, and i can go on and on. Before the parts came when I ordered it, I've been in contact with them DAILY. NOTHING EVER GOT DONE, IT ONLY GOT DONE WHEN THEY WANTED TO DO IT. They keep saying it'll come in 1 week (which never happened) they lied about their warehouse being low on parts, they make covid excuses of to why their horrible service is slow to keep up on crap, etc, etc. No Update on to when It'll be shipped (They FINALLY shipped it a month later december 26th) No Update On when will it arrive (they FINALLY deliver to my house december 30th, bs and bs) No Update if the package is lost or not, etc, etc they basically just ghosted and swept me under the rug like i wasn't important to them, They took my money and had me waiting like a timer ticking until it wants to stop ticking. I'm not going with this company no more
Joshua, if you look at these units, they are entirely manufactured and assembled in China. It isn’t a secret. They ship these preassembled and sell them to three differently branded companies in the USA. Coleman is one of the brands.
Was getting close to buying this one as well. Thanks for the video. The quality issue and the fact that it's made in China is another lost sale from me!
I got smoked on one too. Can't tell everyone how piss poor the quality is. My entire motor block shattered at front drive shaft. Look at Kawasaki mule for comparable price you can at least find someone to work on it and they do stock replacement parts
I buy Coleman camping stove, I stay far away from any of their engines. Check out the bad online reviews of Coleman outboard motor. They just put their name on the off-shore craps. Total crap.
I was going to buy a Coleman UTV from Tractor Supply because the manager told me that they only deal with Coleman because there reliable and its easy to get parts for your UTV. The UTV I was interested in was in New Jersey It was sitting indoors in the back area .It cost about $10,000. I thought it was a bit high for the vehicle but I had to consider Tractor Supply may be a bit higher. I'm absolutely not going to buy anything from the Coleman brand. I'm a female and I like vehicles that mainly guys are drawn to. I'm always getting cheated especially when I don't have guy with me. I had paid $9,000 cash for a used vehicle and it was in mint condition from the go . The same mechanics that checked it for me and cleared it as working great no problems from the get go broke it by faulty work which they admitted to and will not take responsibility for the cost. They want me to pay for there mistake.(FORD DEALERSHIP) I totally understand how you feel Coleman should take responsibility for faculty work You obviously did not do any miles on this vehicle. Just to give you some ideas with the broken vehicle you can use it as a advertisement rent it out to business and put a banner on it to advertise there services or promotions. You can even graphic the whole vehicle a tool shop etc may be a place to start. you'll probably have to tow it in. or advertise on your own property until you recover your lost.
Brake clean the hole .. no oil .. get u a 2 part putty .. fill hole solid .... forget it was ever there .. are a jb weld .. Then to change oil .... get u a empty freon tank .. pull vacuum .. use hose go in motor by filter are down thru top of engine .. cheap China stuff
@@daveerickson320 the manual stinks. Support is non existent. The Utv is built without maintenance in mind. Changing the oil is a royal pita. I called hisun to ask questions about oil filter part number and was basically told to go pound sand and call my local service place. One place near me and they wouldn’t give me the filter part number but would sell me be for $15. $15!!! I finally got one and it’s a crappy filter akin to a $2 filter from Walmart. I’m just over this crap and wish I had spent a little more on a machine whose company stood behind their product.
You waited 50 hours and a year and a half for the first oil change!!!! User error

good point. break in guy probably did it
So you went 13 months before your first oil change? You should have changed the break in oil months ago and it would have been under warranty.
Honestly looks like you drug the bottom or jarred the hell out of it, which would also explain the broken exhaust.
Looks like someone had that oil pan apart at some point. The bolts next to the drain plug hole have extensive rounding of the corners like someone used the wrong size (metric/standard) to turn them.

Bought Coleman Outfitter 550 in 2018. It has been not running more than it runs. Hard to find anyone to work on it due to being off brand. I am now trying to sell it. Bought from
Tractor Supply which no longer sells in store.
Exactly what I was going to tell him.
There is more to the story. Some kind of impact to the casing or bolt has likely occurred.
Thanks for letting me know. I was seriously thinking of buying one
15 months and your first oil change?
Glad I looked at this, I was just getting ready to buy one but not now. Thanks for this video.
I was in Tractor Supply today and these now have a 2 year warranty.
From someone with experience with threads, that is a major design flaw having two sets of threads. Major binding will happen with that
Hisun is made in China, but it's assembled in Texas.
Thanks for the video, almost bought one. Now I will spend more money and get something better.
Hey we’re looking at one have you had any issues in the 3 months
you may be able to take it to a good welding shop that can weld alum and put heli coils where the threads should be. Keep all the pieces, so he has something to work with.
The low budget aluminum die casting may not be able to take the heat of a weld. May move air pockets (porosity) through the walls.
Agree. Polaris/Can Am. Much, much more money.
Jesus, 191 miles for your first oil change. Sounds like your utv was self destructing due to poor owner maintenance. Did you even grease anything lol , you should have done your first oil change at 45-50 miles man.
49 hrs before first oil change ? Your on your own bud good luck getting any warranty
And dont forget the impact wrench
@@atomatlas5595 Yea thats what i was thinking i think he hit it with the impact and had it in righty tighty mode ! lol
The very first problem is letting your son drive it ! If it can be broken a teenager will find a way ! Ask me how I know !!!
lol, yeah that got me perked up. that machine must have been driven into the ground. If he's anything like my son WAS. Now my son is older and has grown a brain.
@@headinghome1644 🧠 👍
So who change the oil after it was broke in
Nobody!
Very true
Who wrenched on the bolt next to it? looks suspicious to me. Broken exhaust manifold and busted oil pan? someone was probably Evel Knievel'd that thing. Ask your kid.
My thoughts exactly.
The best solution to me would be buy a new pan, a much simpliar fix. People like to make big issues over small problems.
These days you cannot go by names companies whore out their names to who ever wants to pay
Where is the oil fill tube , maybe drain the oil with a hose and pump beside using the drain plug .
Did you consider an extended warranty? If so how much was it?
They are a couple thousand dollars on a CF Moto. Not cheap.
Why I only ride Polaris 25+ years of realiabity
Find a piece of brass threaded tubing use thread tap put a valve on it more thread tap and crew that valve into what's left of the thread next time u change just open the valve u may have to make your own depending on threads
Thanks I was looking at a 400
An asking if it had differential lock
Havnt got answer yet but might today
But good to know
Sounds like a piss.poor dealership.
Cause someone should step up and help
Made in China...of course...hell what's not made in china?
Every thing china makes is junk 50/50 chance that its good.
That's a very good counter point. I had not thought of that.
I have the same utv it’s a 2020 it has 500 miles on it and I am currently replacing the clutch…
What s the issu with the clutch?
We need to get that camera focused feller, video made me feel dizzy watching, felt drunk afterwards, but good info feller, keep it up
Spend a little more get a major brand such as can-am,yamaha,polaris i highly recommend Kubota as a true work horse
8000 pound paperweight? Damn that's 5 times heavier than my can am Lmaooooooo
And almost 7x heavier than a normal HS400utv2 😂
Aluminum pieces?..tig weld away!!
Thanks for that info. I was looking at one that Sams sells. With this known, there is no way I.will.purchase the Coleman utv. Thanks for that.
Well I'm having similar problems with my American sportworks crew cab utv and it's just out of warranty by a couple months. On the tailgate it says built in the USA but it's just Chinese junk!!
They make a boat plug that you can put in and tighten up, try that and see if it works until Colman helps
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ this video appears to be somone who messed up by removing a crank case bolt not an oil plug and then trying to blame someone else. The oil plug on this machine looks nothing like that.
That's what I am thinking, I never seen an oil drain plug that long.
LMAO and you're going to buy one,,,, LMAO again,,, wow
CHINESE JUNK ! !
May I ask, how did your purchase go?
Decided not to buy one of these UTV’s and instead bought a Japanese mini truck 4x4, and glad I did. My problem with this company is that they didn’t stand by their product and treat this customer fairly.
@@angusgillingham2323 Good comment. At first glance I too had a different opinion. Sometimes, time itself changes our view.
Looks like you used an impact to remove the drain plug !! That’s your fault !!
Bend over... I'll show you how well that impact wrench works numb nutz.
Who the fuck use an impact wrench for a drain plug with probably 30 pounds of resistance
I'm his son and I can assure you that we used a socket to take it out
You don't know that he used an impact on it. Just probably something you'd do.
Just drill it next size up and retap it not that big of a deal
I just bought one brand new and 45 miles later the engine made a noise and locked up
What brand was it ???
CanAm, Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, or Coleman ??
It was a coleman 400 and am still waiting for an engine to be delivered to the repair place
Any update
What am I missing? Why hasn't anyone suggested... why wouldn't asking for a new oil pan not be the solution? Why does he need a new engine? Why all these other solutions about welding and heli coils? Shouldn't a new pan and bolt be the simple solution?
We work on them at our shop they have all kind of problems
The Coleman outfitter 550 is a better option I read the reviews on it and nobody had any problems with it and you can get the outfitter 550 from tractor supply I always read the reviews before I buy that's my secret to getting a better utv I'm getting the outffier 550 after I have had my new pickup truck a little while

Reviews are not reliable unless from consumers report.
MAINTENANCE
Buddy i had a massimo tboss 550 did first oil change at 100 miles.....wtf you doing waiting 50 mfing hours?!?!
Sorry to hear about the junk Coleman selling..
You probably should have changed the oil withen the warrenty period… it seems sketchy that your telling em you waited that long to change the oil…
So you waited over a year to change the oil? That's on you.
Damn, and I was going to buy one too.
What’s the number for Coleman cause today my minibike throttle got stuck wide open only 3 months into warranty
Couldn't have said it better myself.
@@michaeltomlinson861 thanks for the info
This is why they cost $ thousands less that Polaris or Can Am. You get what you pay for.
Polaris are without a doubt, garbage !
@Chris Stitt Yeah, it's getting worse too. Costs a fortune to get repairs on Polaris and Can Am. We have both.
It is an American company, because all American companies say “ screw the consumer”.
the prob is its made of Chinesium.
I can think of cheaper ways to take people to the fire pit. It's called "walking" Yikes!
You could have extended the warranty
$2k
You should change the oil in the vehicle the day of buying lol and change your oil once every two to three months always stupid is stupid does
Thank you I will not buy one owasso going to buy one but now no
Was getting close to buying this one as well.
It’s not their fault you don’t know how to do basic maintenance
So you actually thought these were made right beside coolers and lanterns and shit..
I'll take that paper weight off your hands.
I bought a Vector 500 from Home Depot. Also a Hisun UTV. I agree, do not buy anything made by Hisun.
What not ???
@@daveerickson320 the manual stinks. Support is non existent. The Utv is built without maintenance in mind. Changing the oil is a royal pita.
