9:31 Respectful suggestion... you might consider weighing these with a shipping scale or simply saying, "the manufacturer states." These companies rarely provide the correct weight and 90% of the time, they're heavier than stated. ESG certified the weight of this scooter at 79.8lbs, not 74lbs making the delta between the previous version and this version close to 23lbs. It really puts this scooter in a completely different category in my mind (you guys essentially said the same thing). This Cruiser V2 is in the weight and size category of many twin motor performance scooters like the Klima (79lbs), Mantis King GT (74lbs), Gotrax G2 (75lbs), Etc. Though I have a small collection of sport scooters, I still keep my Cruiser S. One of the things I appreciated most was its 56lbs weight. It often serves as a vacation scooter when traveling by car.
Despite its weight, it actually is a lot more portable because when you fold it up both the tires touch the ground. Where is before the front tire would come up and you were left dragging the front end.
I love most of the upgrades showcased here. For anyone interested in the Emove Cruiser line, Voro's designer was very active on the Emove Facebook page getting customer feedback & suggestions throughout the entire design process of this Version 2, which I thought was really cool to be able to give input on its development.
From someone who had the first Emove Cruiser, i loved the scooter! It has amazing range, pretty good speed and good price. But there was some problems with the stem and how much it flexes and the huge single motor could catch you off guard sometimes. This on the other hand looks so much better! The display is amazing, i love the idea of hybrid off road tires and they are bigger? looks like they kept the range, they moved the charging port (thank god) and i definitely want that dual motor upgrade for sure! The kickplate is also a bonus! Very excited for this!
11:12 where is "38mph" coming from guys? I thought your video showed it clocked 33mph which is 1-1.5mph higher than what others are seeing, recorded two ways with the Dragy app. (maybe this juiced this one up because it's a review scooter)?
Nice review. I agree with all your points and I love the new features, BUT... there are two reasons I won't be buying this when it comes time to replace my old 2021 Emove Cruiser: 1) I need foldable handlebars. I have a small trunk in my car and it's MUCH easier to get it in there with the handlebars folded and 2) The weight. I have no idea why Voro made this so much heavier, but I have to cart my scooter up the stairs at work and home (I live in NYC) but that's a dealbreaker. There's a huge difference between a 52lb lug and one that's almost 80lbs. Especially when I have to do it everyday, multiple times a day. The original Emove is far from perfect (and to it's credit, Voro did address most of the shortcomings with the V2) but it definitely hit the sweet spot for the perfect commuter scooter with it's ideal speed/weight/size ratio. Now they've ruined that. I'm bummed but I'll be looking elsewhere eventually for something that can be lighter and more compact.
I agree 100%. I'm in Melbourne Aus I too need sometimes to lift into my car when I couldn't be fkd going to the city all the way. It ticks every box for me, except the weight and wide handlebars (I would have to change them?).
Love the upgrades from the original. Looks like it was starting to struggle on the hill a bit but you guys cut away before we could get a sense of its hill climbing torque.
It'll fit on trains no problem. I've seen vsett 10+ on with no issue. Just gotta fit em in between the bike racks. Busses, well I'm sure someone's gonna figure it out.
Does this scooter have a power lock? Or something like it? Basically anyy kind of way to make it useless in the event that someone breaks through physical locks and carrys it away?
Love it. I do wish scooter manufacturers would include a loop in the frame to get a U Lock through easier. I have an X1 Litelock, I hope it is large enough to go around the Neck joint at the deck.
I’ve heard that the dual motor version will feature two 500w motors but that would be redundant with the current 1600 w cruiser v2. Hoping they change their minds and come out with a 1000 w motor in both wheels.
I like to see you review that teverun supreme ultra. They improved the display as well as the braking system but sucks not the cylinder silver pin. It cracks easily depending how fast your going and the terrain. Someone said they traveled up to 2000 km miles and didnt snap on them that pin in the folding lock mechanism. I'm probably not gonna buy it they totally forgot of making the motor hub wires plug and play to make it so much easier to change tires. Like my nami klima, mukuta 10+, and some others that have that crucial feature.
The dual motor will be the winner. People have been asking for a dual motor emove cruiser for years. Also, hopefully it should go 40 mph too. This will make it turn into the speedway V which was discontinued. Puncture proof tires is the cherry on top.
Hey there- question for you boss. I have a budget for a scooter up to 2500$ i am looking at Apollo city 2024 , emove road runner v2, kaboo mantis x plus . Out of these options that are at my local store, which would you say is the best option for downtown riding in Toronto. Speed I don’t need anything over 55km/h and distance I’m great with 60km-65km. Let me know if these options are viable or if you have any recommendations.
I just saw the price now for Canadian buyers just little over $2,050 is it comparable to Apollo City 🤔 we got lots of different grades of hills here and was wondering any Suggestions between the two
THIS! Is exactly what bothers me. In Melbourne Aus, they have no service dept!! It's 1000km away in Sydney. Although, they are very helpful online, but I'm a no trust person unfortunately. I wish Scooter Hut would lift their game.
Dual motors on any scooter helps a ton to increase acceleration and hill climbing ability. Really depends on your needs if dual motors is the right choice for you.
I got a 2023 S version and I was hoping a lot for the new V2 but after seeing this - meh. The charging port is HORRIBLY placed. Kicking it all the time if you place your foot too forward. Question I had was - is the 200$ reinforced seat still fit? No i guess. im gonna keep my 2023 model then
what would be the advantage of choosing this over the ausome gallop or the kaabo mantis x ? lol over priced and over weight. my mantis king is lighter..
Only time will tell. I think they resolved a lot of the split rim and tubeless tire issues from their experience with the RoadRunner Pro. A lot of the issue came from the heat of the motor melting the o ring. The o rings that create the seals have been upgraded to withstand high heat.
ESG weighed it on their scale and it came in at 79.4 # Too bad alot of their changes were on. my wish list unfortunately the weight gain is a deal breaker for me
I am not a fan I don’t like those brakes. I don’t like split trim because they tend to crack and break easily. I don’t like the one motor and I don’t like the battery without the second connector for a second motor to be installed, which will also cost more, overall I believe that this scooter is cheap poorly made the video you made was pretty good however, you were kind of sucking up to Emove
@@jasondefelice2710 some are designed elsewhere like the roadrunner brand line. Parts sure...china but the designs look different and some are designed in America or elsewhere

Congrats! Let us know how you like it.
Was waiting for this review! Nice improvments overall!
It would be neat if Voro updated the Touring model's bars, stem, display, while putting an emphasis on keeping it as lightwight as possible.

Thanks for the great review guys. On rainy days I can’t ride my electric skateboard. I enjoy my Emove cruiser but it looks like time for an upgrade!
It's a great choice for those who live in wet and rainy areas.

EMOVE - GOOD STUFF!
THX FOR SHARING 😊
real shame they added 9KG to the weight and removed the folding handlebars.
Does this scooter have a power lock? Or something like it?
Basically anyy kind of way to make it useless in the event that someone breaks through physical locks and carrys it away?
Looks like there’s enough room in that deck to have a bigger battery made by powerful lithium or chi battery. Very interesting!
kinda wild that scooter manufacturers still havent made blinkers that blink indefinitely until theyre cancelled. last gen r&d tbh.
The EMOVE Cruiser V2 blinkers will blink until cancelled. Majority of blinkers on electric scooters will stay on until they are cancelled out.
Many scooters have this feature. Even the orginal Cruiser did also.
They should make a v2 Emove touring as the new benchmark for a commuter scooter.
What about swappable batteries? Can you swap batteries easily?

I weigh 160 lbs. Maybe I won't bottom out? Did you give the mileage you got? Maybe I missed that? Would be nice to know the mileage that Andrew got?
It says the ultimate off-road scooter. Will you do an off road video
Waiting for the duel motors to come

I’m curious how the dual motor version will work? So is the dm version this same scooter and all u have to do is buy the motor Separately?

64 lbs/29kg.way better.🎉❤IP66. 😂😂😂🎉.
