    IT WAS YOUR REVIEW THAT CONVINCED ME THE EMOVE CRUISER S 52v was the best scooter for me I buy the damn thing received it 6/18 it’s now 6/22 and I only rode it a few times ( just for commute I don’t do tricks or none of that) they sent it with missing screws and the speedometer/ power button/ little device that displays the battery percentage usage stopped working after just 3 days which pose as a major issue seeing as I wouldn’t know when I’m running low or how fast I’m actually going l. I go to check the return/refund policy for the 1300 dollar scooter after taxes and shipping fees and there basically isn’t one I’ll only get store credit or a damn gift card and they’ll get a scooter to resell PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID😒

    *_This is what I love most about RG (ESG) reviews - they are lengthy and concise, very informative, their data are taken from actual/real-world tests and always has comparisons. For riders who love statistics, this is the best electric scooter TH-cam Channel out there, complete with visuals and charts and graphs and more. And they do all of these without removing the fun from watching. Keep up the good reviews, guys. Ride safe always. Cheers!_*

    The Battery: LG 52V 30Ah (1560 Wh) has always put it well above all other single motor scooters. EMOVE Cruiser is like the Porsche of the scooter world, not changing what does not need to be fixed but making small improvements year by year.

      @ryugahydeki2 it's great. Have had it for over 6 months. No problems at all. It's a great first scooter. Has 3 speed modes to get used to it. I'm 170lbs and the top speed cruising is maybe 23-25 mph. 28 downhill pushing it. Battery lasts very long. I commute to an from work alot on it and only need to charge it maybe once or twice a week. Outstanding review that covers just about EVERYTHING.
    Finally, a thumb throttle as default! Should've happened years ago.
    I think the cruiser is a great choice for "around town" commuting. For people needing 40 miles round trip (without the ability to charge in-between) it's the way to go. But, if a person only needs about half that, there ARE decent alternatives at a better price (the new Ninebot Max G2 comes to mind). Of course, if a person needs 80 miles round trip (a charge in-between) it'll get the job done.
    How long to charge the batteries from empty/near empty to full?
    Again, outstanding review!

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
      @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thanks so much! Great question. Quoted charging time is 9 to 12 hours. If I remember correctly there is only one charging port. A battery this size would be a good candidate for faster charging with no ill effects on the battery (because 4 hours charging time wouldn't hurt a thing). I'll check how many amps it says on the charger. The charging time is surprisingly always pretty close to total battery Ah/charging amps. -Paul

    • @FlashlightConnection
      @FlashlightConnection ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@newestclips6882 that's a bit high. The battery is 4 years old, and lithium batteries lose a bit of capacity every year even if not used. Plus the 2019 model has a 600 watt motor instead of the 2021 and later models that have the 1000w motor. I'd say $500 to $600 is reasonable. Still a great scooter though, have fun if you buy it!

    I have a 2021 Model and it's fantastic. Notes for long term riding. The range is fantastic. I've regularly done 3-4 rides of about 14 flat miles before a charge. Hills definitely eat into the range ,but on flat I've gotten closer to 50 miles out of it. Also if you live in a place with rough roads/potholes, this thing will be a godsend. Dual suspension alone is worth it, I will not get another scooter without it. The only thing I don't like very much is the build quality of the parts on the handlebars. The voltage reader crapped out and the plastic housing on some of the parts is flimsy. Other than that though it's a fantastic scooter. Love it.

    @X1GenKaneShiroX ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Under worst case scenario if you try to blast that at top speed all the time then you’ll achieve a solid range of 40 miles per charge. That’s because I use 1,560Wh then divided it by 39. If you’re burning 39Wh per mile then you’re using a lot of power most likely.

    • @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide

    Great review Paul! I was considering this for my wife as her rainy-day scooter. I have always respected the E-move. Unfortunately she prefers the ultralights so we stick to the Inokim LIght 2 for her on rainy days. I have addressed all the main egress points on the scooter so water won't penetrate anything vital. The dual drum brakes on the Inokim along with the pneumatic tires are exceptionally solid in the rain. The low CG of the Inokim LIght 2 also helps a lot on wet roads.

    I have had my emove 2021 for two years now. I use it as my last mile vehicle for doing small errands, groceries and recreational riding.
    I have upgraded this scooter to the sinewave motor controller, full hydralic disk brakes, upgraded the headlight, installed a contactor to storage reduce battery drain, and finally upgraded to the new self sealing tires.
    Pros, Lightweight and portable enough to commute and to use most metros. easy to get parts for repairs, simple folding mechanism and handlebars, Most repairs can be done in under an hour, And yes the battery lasts me a whole month of errands.
    Cons: Tires are tough to mount on rims. Rear fender breaks easily if you hit large pothole or crack and is a very involved timely repair. Sharp Edges that can nick or chafe wires in deck, razor Sharp parts on handlebar folding parts that can cut your hands or damage property if scooter falls or is handled without due care. The original square wave motor controllers on this scooter are way underspec and they can overheat during longer hill climbs even in cool weather. They can be replaced easily with the upgraded sinewave ones tho :3.
    Overall i am happy with this scooter and I have even helped friends and random folks with fixing and maintainjng theirs. Would recommend. 👍🛴

    The one thing I love about the E-Move Cruiser series is that it's just so *reliable*. Every part of it is so ridiculously optimized that you know it's just going to work no matter what. Sure, it doesn't look much-- it even looks quirky compared to other scooters at roughly the same price range, but it just hits the spot perfectly with its base specs and customizability.
    Solid range, solid speed, solid everything. A true jack-of-all-trades and the ideal stopping point for anyone who just wishes to buy an e-scooter once and ride with it for the rest of their lives. I can't wait to see what iterations they'll make in the future.

    I like that its design is a nice balance between attractive and functional. That they didn't try to embed the handlebar controls, frontward torch, or other peripheral components into the body makes it much easier to accessorize at a later time without something looking goofy or out of place.

    What's a better option for me thinking of buying it for my commute to and from work. Either this or the Solar EQ or Solar P1. What's more important for me as a commuter range, speed, or weight, note im not the biggest or heaviest guy at 5'5 with an average build. Like what should be my main focus buying one of these scooters? I did about 2000 miles on my old ninebot es2.
      Front wheel is now bald, brake is sticking, rear mudguard broke off 2 years ago, despite regular tightening of the bolts, the stem is now barely attached to the deck because of now oval mounting holes, the battery also has a dead cell so I was lacking power and range. To top it all off it now developed a communication error between the control board and the dash which showed me that it is finally time to retire the old one.
      I always wanted a little more power but I also wanted WAY more range simply to be able to go around town without taking breaks to recharge the darn thing. Living at the top of an apartment complex it also need to be light enough.

    I'm at over 12000km on my Cruiser and its continuing to be my main commuter 3 years on.
    The main pro of this scooter is the support and parts availability, I've ordered multiple replacement parts and accessories over the years and am planning to ride this scooter until the battery dies. Then I'll replace the battery and ride some more!
    You can literally buy almost every single individual part of this scooter separately. A simple broken part that would cause another scooter to be off the road permanently is a piece of cake for the cruiser. Repair, replace with ease. The level of support from Voromotors should be industry standard. I cannot recommend this scooter enough.

      @@ortem000 I'm assuming youre meaning tyres? The front: 0, still has the same tyre as 3 years ago when i bought it, tread is still high too.
      The rear about 3 times, 2 times were general wear and tear, 1 time was after a nasty huge hole in it due to a nail. In general the rear tyre will require changing more often than the front.
      I wont lie, theyre really fucking difficult to change if you arent strong enough to work with it. Tubeless is incredibly difficult if you dont have the correct tools, and not bike tools too, you need car tyre spoons like the ones shown in this video.
      Also, i dont have compressed air to seal the tyre to the rim so i use a car tyre sealant that fills into the air pockets between the tyre and the rim, its like a rubbery liquid that dries quickly. Works well.
      I still prefer tubeless though, i cant deal with how often you get pinch flats with tubed. Couple months(tubed) vs up to a year with tubeless.

Same also as the Rovoron Kulter. There are loads of other unknown brands hawking the same scooter. The difference being Voro's has a bit longer deck and a bigger battery. The rest is very generic and standard.

    Recently purchased the Cruiser S and love it so far. I was a little worried about it only being single motor but it goes so fast I don’t even drive it on max speed. It makes me think that all dual motor scooters are bad, they either have poor range or are very expensive. The Cruiser is fast, has long range, can handle hills just fine, and is affordable. Basically the perfect scooter in my opinion. The only thing that has shocked me is how large it is. It’s heaps bigger than my Unagi e350, and it’s not easy to carry. But no e scooter with this amount of range and power will be light. The only reason I would not recommend this is if you’re looking for a commuter scooter and need more portability and less weight. If these aren’t concerns though, there’s really no reason not to buy it.

    Random tire change tip: Use big zip ties (reusable if possible) and zip tie around the tire (like cutting a pizza) so the inner beads are touching which thins up the tire. You can get both beads over one side of the rim all at once, and usually without a pry bar, or very little prybar to get the last bit over.
    I've changed sport bike tires this way for a while, and it's so much easier than prybar alone. Takes less than 20 min per rim, so a scooter should go very quick. 8 to 12 zip ties should do it for a 10" tire. I use about 18 ties on a front 70/17" sport bike rim, and about 26 on a 180/190/17 rear.

    my own experience regarding the build quality: i own the 2021 edition and had a minor accident resulting in needing to replace the front suspension. Unscrewing it was so tough that the screw head actually snapped before it even started to budge. Getting a recessed screw out that had no head because it's secured so tightly is easily one of the biggest pains in the ass i've ever dealt with doing anything DIY related, however it's ironically reassuring knowing that it clearly wasn't going to break in daily use...

    I've been trying to save up and "upgrade" from my 28-30mph, Kugoo m4pro. Oddly enough, it gets around 28-30 miles of range on a single charge for me in my hilly town too, and that range is just fine for my needs. Honestly, I love my Kugoo, it's been pretty good to me mechanically speaking. It also has the plug n play replacement features for most components (aside from the rear motor, I rly like that on the Emove). All around it's been a great commuter for a budget price (which was only $650 when I bought it a year ago). My only gripe was speed. I got addicted to the rush and wanted to go even faster, like dual motor, 2 stacks money fast!!! A real need for speed.
    Unfortunately, I am currently working on recovering from injury... again 😭
    One at a time, I have broken BOTH LEGS!!! I broke my left in Jan and as soon as I started getting back up on my feet, I broke my right one just the other day here in mid May.
    Now, something like the Emove is looking more and more appealing. Heck, I might even down grade more. I no longer have that "need for speed" that I spoke of earlier. It's moreso a need to get to my destination safely and in one piece.
    It's time I start looking at PEVs with a new POV.
    I really do like the Emove. Thanks for sharing it guys. 👍

    It's almost perfect. If it had fatter/bigger tires and a slightly faster take off and even 10mph+, it would be the perfect (non off road) scooter.
    I use it daily. Super light. I go to the grocery store. Fold it. Put it under the cart, easy to handle. Can't do that with big scooters and locking them doesn't really mean they are safe...

    • @jumbodogg9253
      @jumbodogg9253 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey dude. It only goes 22 mph because of regulations. To get it to the 33 mph advertised speed, you have to unscrew the front U deck (4 screws on the front, 2 screws on the side) and then you have to disconnect a big black wire which connects both a small black wire and a white wire to it. This is the speed limiter which limits the speed to 22 mph. It's deep in the middle section so you have to dig out the wires a little bit. It takes some effort if you want that full speed. I couldn't find any info online about it so I'm posting this here for you. Voro motors did NOT make this process easy.

    I'm new to the world of scooters. One day in Oct. 2023 I woke up, saw a sponsored ad from Segway and decided to buy a refurbished ES2. I enjoyed it a lot but quickly learned there's way more to buying a scooter and the range is based on riding using minimal power. So here I am now, having range anxiety every time I go more than 4 miles from home wondering if I'll make it back. Based on how I ride in a city where the scooter law is max speed 15mph, I'm looking for a better scooter with much longer range. This review of the Emove and other reviews has convinced me that this is the one to get. I really appreciate the thorough review. It clearly explained so much to me as a novice. There are so many scooter options out there that I was feeling overwhelmed but this video helped to understand that this is the scooter I should probably get. I won't have the money until end of May/ early July to get one but I'm looking forward to getting this.

    Hi, I'm looking to get an E-scooter and I'm stuck between the Kukirin G3 Pro (Speed: 42mph / Range: 50 miles) and the EMOVE Cruiser S. My deciding factor is based of the speed and range of each scooter, so overall, which would you recommend.
    And also, on VoroMotors website, they stated that the range for the EMOVE Cruiser S is actually 62 miles, but you said it's around 44 miles which is about 19 miles less. Since you've tested it, would you say that spec is not accurate? Seeing as that was also one of the things that made interested in it to begin with.
    Thanks in advance for your reply.
