The community was vocal about dualtron scooters being too expensive during the pandemic days and they actually listened to everyone. They’ve been releasing decent budget scooters since 2023.
You got it!
YES
I can’t believe that Dualtron is still in business. Overpriced and antiquated.
Yeah... I don't understand why they stick to square wave controllers across the board. They claim they're more durable and cheaper than sinewave, but like... after half a decade of innovation and design, I'm pretty sure there's no reason anyone should think that anymore.
Those fender was great and more scooters should follow. Because as of now most fenders on scooter are just cosmetic basically. Your back will be sprayed with dirt and water if it rains.
I like a lot here, but hope they release a $1k version with just a bigger battery. to compete with the emove cruiser for long range single motors. Bonus if they can squeeze tubeless tires or solid tires in for that price.
Yeah, sometimes it feels like every 🛴 that comes out doesn't quite invalidate the old Emove Cruiser due to the range that one has. Apparently it's difficult to make a $1k scooter with a 48v/52v 30ah battery.
I stumbled upon your latest electric bicycle review and was thoroughly impressed with your in-depth analysis and genuine enthusiasm for these types of products. Your channel is a valuable resource for anyone looking to make an informed decision on which electric bike to purchase.
If you're interested in testing the Keteles Electric Bicycle, I'd be happy to provide you with more information and arrange for a complimentary bike to be sent to you. We trust that you'll find it to be a top-notch product worthy of your review.
Many liked features, especially a useful kick plate and (safer) pneumatics, usually lacking in a commuter. But, for a compact commuting/ last mile/ packable and store-able tool, (f that is what this is meant to be) it needs to have folding handlebars IMHO. Smallest possible footprint for apartment storage, car and last mile transport. If their big boys like Thunder and Storm can have folding steering bars, then this definitely should for the use case. Maybe Dualtron can make that an option.
Yeah agree, bit of an oversight for sure. Also at 24kg this is not really a light commuter at all. I have a Hero S9 scooter which while not perfect and sadly out of production, its still strikes a better balance with folding bars, 29mph top speed and only 19kg.
Dualtron, please fix / redesign your garbage, folding mechanisms which in effect, results in noise and stem flex. It's been really tiring over the past 4-5 years.
Segway Max G2 is no brainer deal. This is some classic.. for lovers..
Niu is a better deal now , stylish and bombproof . Very good pedigree for modding a scooter , forget the Xiaomi's and Ninebot
I just returned the G2 for the Dualtron Mini Special and while it does some things better, it felt dated
I bought the LTD version with 60v and 15ah (52km/h) I hope it's worth
Where did you find this one??
@@curtflirt2 I'm from Peru and there's a shop that import these from dualtron main distribuitor.
Do you have it now? Was it worth it?
@@Kakehull2 it's been delayed. It will arrive at the end of august
@@yonomasp ok
think they're gonna sell a buncha these. Great price & the lighter the better for a lotta ppl that are waiting for a more full-featured, light as possible, commuter scooter. (eg. Unagi) it Does need more waterproofing
I look forward to these being available in Australia. Looking at a replacement commuter scooter for my Apollo Air 2023 model. Touted as IP66 rated, one of the better scooters out there. That couldn’t be further from the truth! I’ve had nothing but problems with mine which had only done 290 kilometres on the Odometer. It’s a paperweight now. People, don’t believe the hype with Apollo scooters. They talk a good talk. That’s about it.
Dualtron long baord special is great! I got a Dual motor 15.6ah, been great so far (few months in). No faults so far - good range and plenty of power
(In aus too) 😊
I had an Apollo Air 2023 as well. The battery began FAIL only after 5 months of sporadic use. The hardware and looks on APOLLO scooters look good. . But the battery is CRAP. I agree Don’t buy the hype from Apollo. To be honest, I’m embarrassed because I’m in Canada and APOLLO is a Canadian Company.
So the 48v, 650w, (25mph) is $850...? That's not too bad for a Dualtton honestly. With those speeds and features, that'd make a pretty good commuter. IDK anybody who's gonna want that cheaper version though. For that price per performance you could save and get a Gotrax or something cheaper. The 48v def ain't bad though.
I love our Togo that my fianceé has. She did think the Mini Dual was to fast, so i bought the Thunder3 to me with PMT tires and Erexx kickstand and Magura brakes.
And my fianceé did get the Togo 21Ah 21700. Now se has starten to feeling great in it. So We plan to buy the Victor Luxury + -24 to her and then she has something to grow into.
I Also has the Dualtron Mini Dual LG with the New eye3, IP rating and stuff. I will modify that one with to make the deck double thick with 35ah 21700LG cells and drill some New holes for the wheel, chock to get on 10”. Then i Will put Rage Mexanics motors, controllers and thing like that. Already have the motors, controllers, batterys and a big industrial just for me under the weekends to make some CNC parts. I think it will be have a total Weigh of 33kilos, and 35 000w/35Kw or pure power. Will make a stiffer dampers so it can go 100++km/h :)
So yeah.. 72v35+ah 35 000w Dualtron Mini😍😅 Will murder my Dualtron Thunder3🙄
So much money 😅
3:37 U guys just made a bit of mistake, 25mph is not 48kph, It is 40.2kph. Thanks for the video!
It still has 9" tires, though. 10" would be much better.
Nice review. Very affordable. I like it
Thank you 😊
The motorcycle trick to remembering to turn off your blinker is by thinking that turning on your blinker is arming your missiles and turning them off is firing a missile. Pew pew pew. 🚀
Love this!
If you guys can get a hold of (and review) the "X-burner F8" that'd be much appreciated.
Only beef I have with Dualtron is their software. It's unreliable inaccurate and doesn't work directly with bluetooth, you need a internet connection always (so stay in area where there is service or you are stuck with ever setting or display you left with).
I wonder if the front fork from this model can fit in Dualtron Mini
its to two mini coopers racing with different engines 4:00
Ugh, trigger. _"Hey, how can we cause a maximum about of wrist and finger strain, while also inhibiting a safe grip?"_
I think a split twist with a thumb lever attached should be the standard.
I reckon manufacturers do this on their scooters to make it harder to accidentally whisky throttle which is definitely easier on thumb and full grip twist throttles. You do get used to trigger throttle but you could always swap for thumb throttle or rely on cruise control.
@@GreytideWorldwide There's surely some truth to this, although the LT-01's specific popularity is more likely due to it's $5 price tag. One thing I never could recon about the twist throttle- why not just reverse the twist? Whiskey Throttle would never have been a thing.
finally non french review
😅
G30 48v mod and some suspension does 30miles x hour and 20 miles range full speed...
Not bad for a lil commuter
We agree!
PPE saves elbows ,and knees ,but mostly hands
Andrew stays fresh to def rockin the dope vans colorways! fa sho
Wanted something that goes minimum 70k/h. Looking at the Victor lux vs dual motor mini long-board. Not sure if the mini actually reaches that speed.
I got the Dualtron Popular and that thing is a beast but the Dualtron I am waiting for is the Dualtron Dolphin. I love the design of it and wish they would do a dual motor version of it but sadly I will have to make due with the single motor version.
Isn't the Dolphin just exclusive to Europe and Asia??
@@user-xy1eg3tj8h Currently true. Dualtron is very slow with new model rollouts in the US, it took them almost 7 months from it being available in Europe before the Dolphin Popular was released in the US.
@@internetotaku6139 You mean just the Dualtron Popular in the US, cause that's what I own.
Why have a dualtron dolphin when u have a popular
@@Kakehull2 Also, why a Togo or a Mini??? It's called brand diversifying, you buy pretty much the same thing but under a different name. But hey it works, you buy a Dolphin around here, and you are the only one in town, possible the state to have one even if it runs exactly like a Togo.
Kukirin g4 and g3 would be a better option no? Or is the quality much better?
kukirin kugoo g4 2000w and see you later for 899....
Self healing tires ought to be mandatory.
Get the begode falcon please
Review in ZPW Black Warrior ??
What about top speed range?
What is the km range at top speed for togo plus?
Hello, I still don't understand why they keep making platforms for toddlers. I have yet to see a scooter that you can put both feet on.
I have the Dualtron Ultra 2. I wear a size 12 shoe. I can fit both feet on the deck just fine. But yes your in the higher price range of scooters at that point.
Do these Coast when going downhill?
Yes!
I ride a 60v mantis king gt...bought it after ur recommendation.
If I wanted a scooter that would be like a "little brother" to it (same feel but little less range little less top speed)
Do u think there's any worthy 48v scooters or stick to 52 or 60v models.
52v model should be fine , I ahe dual 52v and it has launch mode and I have 60v I have no issues using my 52v she picks uo speed nice I paid 900.00 pounds for it... 18ah
Clearly the 640 watt is going to be the seller.
What's the tested range on the 48V? Thank you!
50km
is it available in italy?
Yes! The local store should be carrying them.
How does this compare to Mini, in terms of build quality and handling?
The ride handling on the Togo is really nice due to the wider tire and less stem flex. The Mini is faster but if you don’t care to go faster than 25 mph, the Togo is a better ride experience.
@@freshlycharged what about the suspension?
@@PickingBlueberriesc'est des suspensions réglables beaucoup mieux que " mini",tu peux aussi les changer pour du haut de gamme
I love you guys
NICE
Im not seeing any offroad scooter reviews
Supper cool looking scooter, not for me. Thanks for the review.
$610? So probably it will be $1500 in my country 😁
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽
do any of this scooter have selfbalanceing like Electric Unicycle ?????? coming out alot for what people poor right now world upside down USA Runing Out the money because of war LOL business not going run good not the same as used to be anymore lol
Bike trail scooter
Great for light off-road use. Nothing technical.
I think you pronounced "togo" wrong.
How would you pronounce it?
I would pronounce it like "togo" or a bit more like "Togo" maybe @@freshlycharged
It's a good commuter but if you are looking for adrenaline this is not it.
Correct.
If it's not dual motors, you're not doing it right.
why do you need to do break lines CLEAN THAT SH!T OFF!!
It is very confusing when talking inches, feet, miles, miles per hour...Why don't follow the rest of the world. Only US use this measurements.
lmao people still buy dualtron? horrible price for their specs
Nope and Nope.
@freshleycharged. Any local Denver places that sell electric scooter versus ordering them..
