Yeah its a bit shorter than the g305. But if you doing an aggressive claw I'd assume ur arching Ur fingers more and pulling the mouse in so I'd think this length should work for you

I believe you can change the 1ms debounce to 0ms to make the click latency lower. I've seen other reviews where they do this anyway
At least at the time we tested the mouse, the lowest available debounce in the software was 1ms.
Is it similar to the g305?
will you do a revisit and reranking of this mouse when the 4k dongle comes out?

Hey, just discovered your channel, really good job on te videos, i have a question you could maybe answer,
I am looking for a particular mouse, basically my grip is similar to lyr1c on apex legends, so I grip my mouse quite far back, which limits my ability to hit the scroll wheel and front side button on some mice.
I have been maining the g502 and g502x since I switched from console due to them having extra buttons.
I did abuse the Amazon returns last year to test some mice out,
G303 shroud, gpro x super light, g703, kone air, pulsar xlite V2, viper V2 pro and I have just bought the xtrfy mz1 wireless.
I have found my aim was the best with the g303 shroud but I didn't find it comfortable and I struggled to hit the front side button due to my grip, second favourite for aim was the viper V2 pro, not a fan of the mz1 I think it is just too narrow and too shallow on the mouse 1 and 2 button, I prefer I bit more height on them.
I have debated trying the pulsar x2, lamzu Atlantis, fantech aria and death adde v3 pro.
If you liked the v2 pro, my guess is the x2 will be better for you. The v2 pro has much more neutral side flairing more akin the the x2 than the lamzu. I don't thing the death adder would be good, it's very very large and just fills up your hand. The aria could also work because it also has the thing like the g303 where it gets wider around the middle. So my recs would be to check out the aria and the x2 out of those 4

Can you use the mouse in 2k hz with or wothout the 4k dongle?
It only goes up to 1kHz without the 4K dongle.
can you review the atlantis 4k/4k mini and the x2 v2? i want to know which to get.

Eric really loves the m3s. It's quickly become his main. He sent it over to me to try, and it should arrive soon. I think both seem like super solid mice and in the end it comes down to shape

uh i bought the hollow bottom and didnt consider the build quality or other stuff at the time. Do u think it'll have the same durability and performance as the solid bottom?
Yeah I'd assume it has pretty much the same build quality. I don't love non solid bottoms just because like shit can get in it, that's why we went for the solid, but you should be fine

what does the "1ms Debounce" mean in the click latency test? Will the 4k dongle fix this?
The mouse has adjustable debounce. Debounce is a general term for techniques used to prevent the mouse from registering more than one click when it's clicked/prevent acidental clicks. In this mouse's case it's using a type of debounce called defer debounce. That just means the mouse will need to be clicked for a certain interval before the click is registered. 1ms debounce would mean the mouse would need to be clicked for 1ms before the click is registered. I generally run mice on 1-2ms debounce to prevent slam clicks, but it really just depends on the mouse what exact settings it will need.
The click latency should be a bit lower on 4k because it is updating more frequently.
@@minemouse Thanks for the reply. One question though, how come logitech and other famous brands doesnt have debounce? And also is it when you click to fast or just because you click and it registers as to clicks?
@@minemouse how's the latency when the debounce times on 4, also won't u have double clicking issue when the debounce time on 0
@tiktactoe just add 4ms to the click latency. Also I run the mouse at 2ms debounce and have had no issues with slam clicks or double clicks but 4ms would certainly be safe
Does grip tape allow it to drag click?
Ehhhh not really. Mice that use this firmware have a CPS cap of 27-28 that also results in faster drag clicks being cancelled out.

We actually don't have one yet (we'll probably get one for testing soon I'd think). I read, "Hold Left-Right-Middle buttons to pair dongle." For the z1 pro. Hope that helps!

can we use it in wired mode at 4k polling?
Unfortunately no, 4K only works wirelessly for mice that use Nordic MCUs with CompX firmware.
Such a shameee, they has to release that dongle asap😔

The Viper 8K is an older mouse, and there are just a lot of new releases coming up. If we get a chance to go back to it we might, but it's not likely unfortunately.

Its still on pre-order from mechkeys. Their site says you will get the mouse 15-30 days after ordering. I know many people who pre-ordered and received the mouse recently

I dont fully get what u mean, but if ur saying this vid is just a promo for the mouse, it isnt. We got this mouse from mechkeys but there were absolutely 0 strings attached. I just genuinely think this mouse at just 50 bucks is an insane value, I think it's unquestionably one of the best mice under $50 on the market right now.
We don't except any products if we are required to say anything specifically about them. The most contingencies well allow are things like putting a purchase link in the description or the fact that we will make a review on the product they send us. Other than that it's 100% up to us what goes in the review and we will point out any negative or positive thing we find out about the mouse while testing it.
