This review is pretty MISLEADING about sound quality - every user/reviewer suggests to use Galaxy buds or buds + on dynamic mode. That's when they deliver best performance, you must be either scared to accept the fact that they would beat airpods pro or have never used them properly and providing sublime reviews!!

@@epsilon4520 I recently bought the buds plus and was comparing them with my brothers airpods and the airpods sound really really bad compared to this. With the buds i was able to hear lows mids and highs flawlessly while the airpods only had loud bass and nothing else. I'm not sure about the airpods pro, but I've seen quite a few TH-cam reviews that say the buds plus still sound better. This guy is clearly biased

AFTER I connected it to my new T-Mobile S20 Plus, with Galaxy Wearable app, and chose what's the best option in the SETTINGS, and put same song from TH-cam Music, and have them in the same 50% volume, BUDS+ has the best balance quality sound. And the BATTERY LIFE is way better than the SONY & APPLE Airpods Pro.
I got 11 1/2 hours from BUDS+ and it is more COMFORTABLE than either of the 2.
The ONLY pro of Airpod Pro is the ANC.
The reviewer is like HATING the BUDS+ right away.
I had my 2 kids & wifey checked & tested the 2 wireless earbuds, and they chose BUDS+, for the ALL around balance of quality of sound, simplicity & how comfortable it is.
That's with UNBIAS tests from 4 people, who knows sound for YEARS!

I like that it doesnt pause the music when you take one off. I almost always listen to music with one bud in my ear. And when I use both. I usually take out one later on.
You can change the settings on AirPods.

If you’re not using an iPhone, I doubt you can change the settings.
This. When you go to take one out of your ear... tap the touch sensor to pause music! There's no need for music playback to stop when taking one out and there's an easy solution to pause built into the darn things.
You gotta set them to dynamic! Lol

@@scorebatgaming airpods are supported by android, it'e just that Apple made some features that made it convinient in the first place exclusive to Apple products aka their ecosystem
Then there's Samsung that made quick pairing with their Samsung phones but also made dedicated app on ios so that people only miss out on that quick pairing
Apple doesn's support dolby or any codec higher than aac, not even apt-x

And just a note, Gaming Mode is also not available on iOS with the Galaxy Buds but you're quite right

It is impossible. Think about another UI, can you design one that is very different? There has to be a pop-up! There is no other way of doing it!!!
@@kurobushi7746 Yeah and Gear ICONX is mostly forgotten bc it sucked. Terrible battery life. Lasting only 1.5 hours and only 5 hours extra with the case. Bluetooth connection issues. AirPods were announced a few months later in September and was delayed until December and it was a vast improvement. Much more compact and far superior battery life. It basically set the standard for bluetooth earbuds. And it was much cheaper too.

One thing in your testing that is incorrect is that you said that if you wear only one earbud it won’t play the stereo sound in just the one earbud but this is incorrect. I just tested this with a stereo left right test. The reason I think that happened to you is because when you have the case open it automatically connects both buds, but if you put only one in your ear and then close the case the stereo sound will then be sent to the single bud in your ear. Other than that great test!

How do you turn on Dolby atmos?
Dude, you have everything turned off on the Buds+. No Dolby Atmos no equaliser etc. That doesn't mean they are worse in sound, it just means they're standard setting is calibrated differently to the Pro. Look up the reviews on Soundguys, it will tell you the Buds Plus have better sound than Pro
I recently pre-ordered the new Samsung Galaxy S20+, which I think is amazing. As a bonus I was given a credit by Samsung to purchase the Buds +. I've used many head phones through out the years. Boss, AKG, Sony Airpods, in the ear, over the ear ect. I can say I am very satisfied with the Buds +. You really don't need the most expensive & feature full head set unless you choose to have & you're in a recording session. For the price I think it's a really good buy.
I don't know if it was an update but I have the buds+ and they do pause the music when you take them out
It's also strange how your call quality is completely different to other reviewers
If you notice he actually recorded a phone call. You can see this with both phones. Every other reviewer simply uses the voice notes app and records a voice recording for theirs. They don't actually make a phone call, so other reviewers aren't technically accurate.

11 hours is the most exciting. Low Battery power is the reason why I didn't go completely wireless for a long time but now these buds outlast my old wire headphones. Only concern I have is that this galaxy and they had exploding products before.

Dude...best headphone test I've ever seen. You actually made a way to objectively test earbud sound quality. I'm kinda impressed. Wonder what could be done with all the EQ tweaks in the new Samsung ones.

I enjoy your reviews from ‘skateboards’ to cameras to phones. You should consider doing high end headphones, both in ear and over ear. There’s plenty of room in the field currently with some good guys but also a couple of weary some clowns. You would be a fresh voice.

If you want your buds to pause when you pull them out of your ear, you can tap the button while pulling them out. I've tested this and it will even pause the audio when you tap the button when it's out of your ear. So just give it a quick tap while simultaneously pulling it out of your ear and you'll have the same result
The bass can get quite heavy on the buds plus if you set up the equalizer right. The fact that the bass is close to the airpods pro out of the box is phenomenal

the main selling point of galaxy buds isn't the best sound quality, its the convenience, that why i only use buds for commutin. i use wired better IEM for music listening. looks like the buds+ just open a whole new world to me as a Samsung user.

This on the other hand was actually a very unbiased thorough review. He tested each aspect putting it into numbers. It wasn't opinion based like other reviews. He didn't just tell you he thinks this one is better. He actually put them in numbers making it way more objective.

I'm getting them for free since i pre-ordered my S20 Ultra. I've heard good things and i'm sure they'll be a good upgrade over the Gear Icon X (2018) that i got with my S9+.

I Just Made My Buds+Plus Sound So Much Better . How You Ask . Well I Have The Liberty Air II Buds And I Took The Largest Ear Tips Off My Liberty Air II And Put Them On My Buds+Plus And Now The Bass Is So Much Better .
The only Reviewer I trust with sound.
It is biased how he doesnt choose the other EQ options. There are like 6 different options, the majority use "dynamic". It's biased.
We would appreciate it if you try your best to optimize the Galaxy Buds Plus's performance, like turning on Dolby Atmos or turning on Dynamic mode.

Its almost like you cant take any iPhone user review serious. I'll be honest and say that the ipods have better noise canceling than the buds+ but the sound is not better. Be honest in your reviews people!

hated when remove one bud and the music pause... sometimes got an itch in the ear remove the bud to scratch it and I still want whatever I listen to still playing.

i bought the buds+ today and after 15 min there is a cracking sound in the right bud on full volume when bass kick in.. did u have this issue?
