I'm actually super happy, because I sent in my original Galaxy Buds for a repair since the sound quality literally died. - but, instead of Samsung repairing and sending the old ones, they replaced them with the Galaxy Buds+ for me. I'm super excited to give those a go because I really loved the original ones, and I imagine these will be even better.
I've been using mine for more than 5 months now, knowing the new version is told gonna be better just makes me hurt lil bit. But Im happy with mine so far...
My problem is that i bought the 2019 ones like 2 weeks ago. And now here are better ones with not that expensive change. :(((( Like they are not that much expensive from the buds 2019
Same here but man, u will never listen so many hours nonstop. U can just charge them easy via wireless charging. The sound quality is very good on the galaxy buds too so not worry to update cuz still... are just some headphones. I am gonna stay for 1-1/2 years with those and upgrade later. The microphone works great for me, just use the right size caps.
@@pressltobias3964 Good to hear bud, my left bud sounds a bit quiet sometimes because of my cat but overall the quality is amazing. I wish the case was a bit more durable, the cover has a give to it and it feels cheap now. Very dissapointed on my Galaxy Note 10 ( i think every device with punch hole has this problem ) there is burn in screen of the notification bar, brightness at middle of the time and no blue filter... still burn in screen 😔. Awful decision , better stick to notch or full display phones or flagships.... i think my s8 was much better than the note 10. The battery on the Note 10 is almost 95% health and i bought it in December, on the s8 that was 2.5 years old had 92% health. It drains hella fast rn and is annoying.
I don't know your name but the Galaxy Buds really look good in your ears. You can't say that for everyone because often they stick out way too much because of the ear canal.
I have been a samsung fan for years..I have every version of these buds ever made from samsung from the first pair the made and now I have these and I love them they are the richest sounding buds that samsung has made...these are my go to buds now
As a few others have noticed, at 2:20 the audio get's a bit screwed up...I believe another recording (briefly) begins and quickly stops...It sounds like the same guy, too. Not that big a deal, it could've happened during the upload, that kind of thing happens on occasion. Otherwise, great review!
I want to upgrade but I had the same issue that no one seems to have fix my left earbud has lower volume than the right and even after changing the settings in the Galaxy wearable app and my regular setting it still didn't do anything this is my third time exchanging my earbuds for the same issue so idk.
@@ivanmikulicic3676 No I don't see the earbuds works fine for the first 2- 3 weeks. Then, all of a sudden the left earbuds gets about 75% lower than the right one and so I would reset and tried to clean it but nothing seems to be able to fix that problem they would exchange it again because it's still under warranty but after exchanging it 3 times already to me it's a waste because I'd expect quality for the money I'm spending. I don't expect the best of the line such as bass, or loudest but definitely not a simple issue which they should be able to fix because I know I'm not the only one experiencing this hiccup.
@@lordbeerussama5259 Well, it's hard to believe you have the exact same problem 3 times in a row when a lot of people don't encounter the problem at all. Either you are lying, you are very (and I mean cosmically) unlucky or there are tons of people not reporting this problem. I hope the problem is you cause I'm thinking in buying plus version later this year.
@@ivanmikulicic3676 I'm not lying at all if you search Google you can see people with the same issue I love my Samsung phone even though its old and time to upgrade but I would not lie about something like that but you could be correct that I'm unlucky hopefully they don't have that same issue with the new earbuds +.
That's what I thought as well. My buds usually start playing spotify as soon as i put them in my ear if i have nothing else playing. Maybe it's an actual action that you can do to access spotify on the new ones.
Yeah on the old ones if you have Spotify or Audible running in the background then just pressing play will work, I'm guessing the new ones will start the Spotify app if it's closed then play
I'm not going to lie....I purchased the buds + simply because they have them in purple! lol! (BTS version, but I don't even know who that is -I just like purple! :)
If you dont have either of these I think it's worth it going for the extra 20 dollars on the plus. They dont sound much different but the original galaxy buds get a TINY bit louder than the Buds+. The Buds+ does separate the instrument quiet a bit better than the originals though. The normal buds I think have more of a deep sound to the vocals and stuff while the galaxy buds+ are a bit more treble heavy. The ambient sound on the buds plus basically makes your ears super ears. The case on the buds plus is a bit more sturdy too. My recommendation is that you SHOULD get the Buds+ if you DONT ALREADY HAVE THE ORIGINAL BUDS. If you already have the original buds, it's not worth the upgrade. The real difference is that the buds plus have better mics, better battery life, and more features. That's about it.
I'm getting the upgrade. The call quality is now so much better based on other reviews. If you're looking to upgrade sound-wise, they sound the same tbh. Basically battery life, quality calls, and ambient sound is the basis of this upgrade.
Samsung has done a really good persona, aiming for a specific user that will compete with other competitor. Now, i just want to know about the microphone quality, not that I will talk with it every day but it will be a plus to have it great.
I lost my case. Can I repair and charge with either buds or buds+ case? Please let me know if someone has experience with this problem. Thanks in advance.
Finally a good review of these. I'm getting these over the Jabra Elite 75T. Imo this is the best thing Samsung announced this year. 1hr in 3 mins is an amazing feature.
@@UnitedAtlantis The sound quality is better than the original Galaxy Buds - that's well enough for me. For my use cases I don't need perfect sound quality, which I don't think the jabras will offer either.
Never fails. i just bought the buds 3 weeks ago not knowing a new one was coming out..i guess i ll wait for black Friday . its not worth upgrading just yet ..i love my buds. BTW great review. never seen a review where they take the item apart lol..great details.

When I'm on a phone call with these buds, it still uses the microphone of my phone. anyone please tell me how to switch this to the mic of the buds?
@2:20 I swear I thought I had another video playing in the background 😂😂
I just bought galaxy buds today and ordered galaxy bud+ after watching this video lol will give the regular bud to my wife and keep bud+ to myself ;)
The app on IOS doesn’t work with previous galaxy buds! Only the galaxy buds+ would fully function on IOS
iOS*
lol sound overlap at 2:20 !! good job video editor !! good job!!
I'm always sad when your videos end, and so I can't wait for the next review!!!
5:33 hi taehyung 😂
I had the IconX. I have the Buds. Now, I gotta get the Buds+.
You had me at 11 hours.
1:44 - moment when many take pics on phones... somehow feels creepy :D
I had a feeling I should've waited another week, since I knew the buds + were coming. But I love my buds so far.
They fall out of my ear all the time
I've been using mine for more than 5 months now, knowing the new version is told gonna be better just makes me hurt lil bit. But Im happy with mine so far...
Thank you, I'm gonna order them now 🔥
Are the case size the same?
My problem is that i bought the 2019 ones like 2 weeks ago. And now here are better ones with not that expensive change. :(((( Like they are not that much expensive from the buds 2019
Same here but man, u will never listen so many hours nonstop. U can just charge them easy via wireless charging. The sound quality is very good on the galaxy buds too so not worry to update cuz still... are just some headphones. I am gonna stay for 1-1/2 years with those and upgrade later. The microphone works great for me, just use the right size caps.
@@narkotikal5125 true!! Smart move
@Narkotikal Yeah you're right and after a couple weeks of listening idc about the buds plus anymore i am in luv with my buds 2019❤❤
Had me at dual driver. I love mine especially when I'm snowboarding. Definitely gonna get some
I have been a samsung fan for years..I have every version of these buds ever made from samsung from the first pair the made and now I have these and I love them they are the richest sounding buds that samsung has made...these are my go to buds now
Screw you Samsung i am keeping my 2019 buds till they break see what other crap i buy off of you love the product tho .
you should of bought them from bestbuy if they crap out you get the credit to replace them lol
Can you charge the buds plus with the case of the buds??
2:20 man WTF 😅
Passive noise cancellations is just fine. The jabras did it well so maybe these will.
Also I just noticed that the Samsung Galaxy Buds + don't have the built-in wings that the Samsung Galaxy Buds have.
Yes they do, where did you see that they don't?
As a few others have noticed, at 2:20 the audio get's a bit screwed up...I believe another recording (briefly) begins and quickly stops...It sounds like the same guy, too. Not that big a deal, it could've happened during the upload, that kind of thing happens on occasion. Otherwise, great review!
I want to upgrade but I had the same issue that no one seems to have fix my left earbud has lower volume than the right and even after changing the settings in the Galaxy wearable app and my regular setting it still didn't do anything this is my third time exchanging my earbuds for the same issue so idk.
mayber you just have impaired hearing on one ear LOL
@@lordbeerussama5259 Just came back from the Samsung Service Center and got a new pair of Buds after mentioning the same issue.
2:42 the original Galaxy buds already had this feature??
That's what I thought as well. My buds usually start playing spotify as soon as i put them in my ear if i have nothing else playing. Maybe it's an actual action that you can do to access spotify on the new ones.
Yeah on the old ones if you have Spotify or Audible running in the background then just pressing play will work, I'm guessing the new ones will start the Spotify app if it's closed then play
@@nodeepthought2910 mine do that as wel i dont need to start spotify
When i put on the Galaxy + Buds they act like hearing aids and enhance my Hearing. Its Freakin awesome
I live in Minnesota, is so quiet here, no need of noise canceling my buds+ are just perfect
I'm not going to lie....I purchased the buds + simply because they have them in purple! lol! (BTS version, but I don't even know who that is -I just like purple! :)
Watching this video prior to purchasing the cloud blue buds+ and you know what? SOLD! 👌🏻👀 Thank you for your research!
Thank you for your review
Dude is a beast...he took the buds apart and I had to subscribe to him.
I'm getting the upgrade. The call quality is now so much better based on other reviews. If you're looking to upgrade sound-wise, they sound the same tbh. Basically battery life, quality calls, and ambient sound is the basis of this upgrade.
Thank you for the great info. I was having a hard time deciding which one to get. Your info. Was one point with what I needed to know.
Thanks
Samsung has done a really good persona, aiming for a specific user that will compete with other competitor. Now, i just want to know about the microphone quality, not that I will talk with it every day but it will be a plus to have it great.
I have the buds and when I use a friend's airpods, I much prefer the sound and fit.
From the buds right lol just checking
When connecting the buds to multiple devices, does it pause when you're playing from two sources? e.g TH-cam and Spotify on different devices
Mi 10 best choice obviously
I lost my case. Can I repair and charge with either buds or buds+ case? Please let me know if someone has experience with this problem. Thanks in advance.
Which ones do you get in the s20
Finally a good review of these. I'm getting these over the Jabra Elite 75T. Imo this is the best thing Samsung announced this year. 1hr in 3 mins is an amazing feature.
The sound quality of Jabra is a lot of better but battery life is so much important. Samsung know what they are doing.
@@UnitedAtlantis The sound quality is better than the original Galaxy Buds - that's well enough for me. For my use cases I don't need perfect sound quality, which I don't think the jabras will offer either.
Thank you!!!! I have waited for this sort of video
Never fails. i just bought the buds 3 weeks ago not knowing a new one was coming out..i guess i ll wait for black Friday . its not worth upgrading just yet ..i love my buds. BTW great review. never seen a review where they take the item apart lol..great details.
I’ve never had picked up my buds+ dead since there always in the case so what’s the point of fast charging?
Just ordered those for 150 euros here in Germany. Since I switched to iphone I can't wait to have ambient sound and more back again 🤩
What store or Website is the bet to buy the new buds+ from along with a protection plan???
