it's very nice that they made these repairable they could've very easily just decided to glue the halves together permanently, and say you have to buy the new ones, when they fail
For the $100 they costed me I absolutely adore these earphones, bass goes bananas with a good eq (wavelet in my case) and the 11h battery life in a single charge means you practically feel no difference from using wired earphones as you never have to worry about charging them during the day. The fact that they’re so easily repairable is the icing on the gourmet cake.

My last resort was this video (without it I would never even know where to begin to take it apart). I pried it open, disassembled it until I reached the battery, gave it a charm rub and reassembled it (doing nothing else). It got back from the dead and I don't have to purchase a new one. Thanks a lot!
Would love to see more. Found this vid because I'm looking for a way to clean the filter from the inside. The galaxy buds have a tendency to get clogged & end up with reduced sound. @@jacksta95 Good actually. Found a tutorial somewhere but can't remember where. I took the silicone tips off & used a pin to pull out the metal grilles. My right ear bud is quieter than the left and I can't get the little piece of mesh off. I already accidentally stabbed myself using a knife like I saw in another video. Any good tips on getting it off to clean the mesh behind it without too much damage?
It's much easier using 2 of the blue iFixit Pry Tools at opposite ends of the bud's housing arrows, facing away from each other. Yes, no vice required. Don't risk cracking the housing. You don't even need to pry apart, they have a very slight twist threading. Just twist the parts in opposite directions, though it takes considerable effort due to a small securing tab near the arrows. Snaps back together at the arrows easily.

Hello sir i have a galaxy buds+ and a week ago the left side fallin and a motocycle moved over it. 😞 . I open it and i found a broken board and an IC unassembled ..(i can share pics with you on whatsapp). One of my friends gave me his left side bud+ since he lost his entire case and told if there is a possibilty to use it for my scenario. So my Question is their away to move a piece from my current broken left buds+ and add it to the left one i got it from my friend and will it works ? If yes which piece. ?..
My daughter just purchased a new Galaxy buds system and I inherited her old sm-r175 system. It has a few problems that I would like to repair. First the left bud only charges if I remove the silicon ear piece, so there is clearly something going on with the spring loaded terminals (the right bud needs to be wiggledto make a good connection). Second, the left bud is noticeably quieter than the right one. My daughter has complained that she can't hear as well from her left ear, but it now turns out it was her faulty ear buds all along. 😂 And yes I laughed out loud about this revelation, does that make me a bad parent? Anyway what should I look for to identify what has gone wrong with the left bud? At $168aud, and with noise cancelling, the new model may make the old sm-r175 not worth fixing if it costs more than a few $$ and my own time. Thanks for the video.

If i want update a speaker, for example, on pamu scroll? Can do It?
Are those dynamic drivers or balanced armature?
Can i use the dismantled buds as a "hidden speaker" (inside my ear)
What is the case made of; metal like the airbuds, or just plastic?
does any one have any idea about the maker of the micro controlling unit in this galaxy model? its kinda hard to tell from this video. it used to be abov f6432 in the previous model. PLz help. Thank you.
