Run Braiins OS, my S19k Pro 115 does up to 160Th/s with braiins. With a Civitek ctrl board you need the farm monitor running (on a Raspi ie), its free and needed, otherwise the miner boots into stock firmware. Runs fine for months now, using only excess solar power, thats why I need to change the power a few times a day with braiins. Got a cheap 3800W on warmer days, get one with >1200m3/h min. 3d printed the adapters by myself. A duct silencer (3ft long) is $50 over here and reduces noise ratio.
Great video....this is the same set up I'm going to use on my S19K Pro out in my shop. Great info on the Pivetol Pleb board so the ASIC controls the inline fan. Keep the vids comin brother! Can Braiins be installed on this board?
Will you be running the AC Infinity fans at 120V AC or 240 V AC? In my set up they are currently at 120 though as I do the final wiring I'm thinking of changing over to make it easier.
So I tried to reach out to blackops since you recommended them but they don't host ice river miners. Maybw that's something you should bring up to them because that's very disappointing and now I have to shop elsewhere to host my miners. Keep up the great work tho on the videos! Love the content
You should also give the water cooling kit from Zeus mining a try (Not a sponsor). It seems to be comparable in price when you add up all the part for the air cooling setup.
That was a Proof of Concept intake cover that I designed and 3D printed. Based on input from Hobbiest, I need to make some minor adjustments. I hope to be getting that done this week and send another to Hobbiest for a final fitting.
This is a massive waste of money. At over $300 per ASIC, that money would be better spent for someone like you that's building and setting up a shed specifically for mining, to actually design and build a shed with better air flow characteristics, adding proper fans and equipment to the shed. 10 ASIC's alone with this setup is over $3K, and that could be spent on 2 to 3 high volume industrial fans, vents, and building materials, to give you all the air flow you'd ever need, and those 10 ASIC's wouldn't even consume half the 400 amp service, so we know double that amount of equipment is going in that shed.
@@user-bh9yk2wv4w Please do enlighten me on why this is done. As a home miner who's doing this in their house, I can see the need on possibly 2 fronts, the noise aspect, and the lack of controlled air flow. But in the more professional environment where he's out of the home, in a shed, and renovating that shed to accommodate his mining, it makes very little sense.
@@MassBoost The main reason is noise! It cuts the whine sound down significantly and adds a higher level of cooling. Also, it adds additional exhaust for the entire environment when hooked with ducting to the wall. I have 5 ASICS with this setup. Do you mine? Do you own ASICS? For a home miner running ASICS in a residential area, the shrouds are a must!
@@user-bh9yk2wv4w You have to understand that he's mining outside of his home, in a shed, thus noise is less of a factor. Also, when you design a shed with better air flow characteristics, along with proper cooling (which is something he's failing to do), you lose some of the noise associated with the fan noise as the ASIC fans don't have to work as hard, thus they are ramped down some, thus this alleviates some of the noise caused by excessively high fan speeds. I've been mining since late 2012/early 2013, back when you could mine Bitcoin with GPU's, before the first S1 ever came out, so you could say I've been around, and yes I own an ASIC.
A whole 800cfm... That is such a waste. Been there done that. And at $300 persetup.... Better off just moving a ton of ambient air in and out of the space. If your worried about noise then asics are not for you.
Where did you get the btc Filters on the intake of the inline fan?

I got one of the lil fruition design kits for my ks0 and although expensive it is SUPER NICE! I can only imagine how nice this bit of kit is!
They fit perfectly and make a huge difference
Can I use a 6inch inline fan? or would it be too restricted? I have the exhaust on a 6inch duct.
No. You need an 8 inch for the CFM. You could use a reducer on the exhaust side to a 6 inch but your restricting it either way causing back pressure

120 but they support 240.

K trim filters link pls
Where did you buy the intake covers?
🛒Inline Fan Intake Shroud + Kaytrims 3D Printed Store ➡ geni.us/Kaytrim3DStore
a sound check would have been nice
Keep up the hard work!
Where do I get that K trim filter?

@@kaytrim How will you be selling them?
Sounds great can't wait to see this

You’re missing the point in why we do this. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

No, you cut the cables on the fans!
ha ha lol
i belive that not a home miner coz price and watt to high 🤪
