yea i got a DX from newtype a few months back, but my search for the mg x has been in vain. I signed up for the hlj backorder so whenever they get stock i should get one, but who knows when that will be....

the MG gundam X is like a billion dollars on amazon, and that is the one I want too, i think it looks cooler than the DX. although i also wish they had a MG airmaster

Come to think of it, the name "Vin Diesel" fits very well in Gundam Universe. Wouldn't be out of place among South Burning, Full Frontal, Brave Cod, Seabook Arno, Bring Stabity and the likes.

They're short, sweet, and to the point, and aren't bogged down with verbosity, "comedic" segments, or other padding. Glad to see you back! In a country where I live (Indonesia) those two MG Gundam X and Double X are difficult to find. Especially Gundam X when I got one, MIB with almost ridiculous pricetag. But MG Double X still quite easier to find.
I luv rhe nu and dx colour designs. Maybe because of that whit and deep dark blue that blends really well. When you open the wings those gold colours really look gud but the gundam itself is still eye catching.
Im glad he's back, especially i pefer his reviews than other Gunpla channels, Beside Kakarot197 and Mecha g, He even save my money for the Master grade Crossbone Gundam.

I've hemmed and hawed over the original Gundam X, but can't swallow the $150+ pricetag on the secondary market. And while I definitely prefer the original design, you really sold me on the Gundam X line in general, and I found one for a more than fair price and scooped it up. Keep doing what you do, and I'll continue watching for years to come!
I also did silver under the clear green sections, but for mine, I also used a citadel brush on gloss coat to make it pop that much more and it looks great

MG DX has one of the best designs out there and seeing the MG could still stand strong until today is quite an achievement. It is a perfect combination. It has enough details to make it not overkill but still look subtle and faithful to the original anime design. The only thing that still grinds my gear is the cheek spike armor this gundam have. Kind of distracting to see
I got mine from a local hobby shop that has a pretty good selection of back-ordered kits, due to bein out of business most of the last year... I just checked the restock list, and it looks like the MG Gundam DX is (finally) going to be restocked around the 29th of July! Hopefully it'll be more available in the coming months.
I have some kits like that too. The MG Gundam Alex 1.0... terrible kit haha, but it'll always be on my shelf because I remember picking it up with some friends at some random store in Osaka.

Finally some fucking good Gundam review. Welcome back! I thought the simple inner frame design is just a recent thing for Ban Dai (looking at Mk V), didn't know it go way back to MG X/XX. I really love the scene transition in the Hi Nu Gundam review showing off its inner frame... But hey, as long it work it works.....
I love the look of this suit, it even has that look for the theory of all gundam media being connected just in different times. This suit gives me an f91 and victory feel, like it's a variation or successor of them. Does that mean it's true, no, but it is fun to think about.

While I’m sure it would have been the most underwhelming of the lot, it’s too bad we never got a X Divider MG. But even worse is the lack of support for Gundam X kits, even in HG. Modern Leopard when, Bandai?
an x divider P bandai expansion set with a water slide decal sheet and a JAMIL NEATE figure should be AMAZING. but bandai ignores it. that suit's weapon load out is incredible
Welcome back! We've been waiting, my friend. As for the chest section, a bright or chrome silver will definitely make that green pop And man, I want the X and DX so bad.
I used a chrome gundam marker for that chest piece and it worked really well. It reflects well behind the green piece. Have an unbuilt non double X I'll do the same thing to.
i painted the chest under the green silver. and for the foil paper not sure if i was supposed to do it or not but i pressed my finger in every single one of those wing's recessed areas to add extra detail under the clear parts definitly adds an interesting effect/
Thanks for making this! Loving it as always. The DX was my first ever MG, so I made a shitton of rookie mistakes and in general the suit looks a bit crap, yet I still display it on it's specific pedestal [ minus the backpack; too bulky ] as it's my first MG. I'm excited to see if you ever do one for the basic Gundam X since it's such a good suit that's cohesive whilst being asymmetrical, and definitely my favourite MS of all time.
Funny... I'm still glad to have my TWO EXES... My MGs 1/100 'GX-9900 Gundam X' and the 'GD-9901-DX Gundam Double X.' They're still great and in good condition and am glad to have both of them. 😅😁👌

Yeah just use a Molotov chrome marker those work like a charm for things like that.

MG Gundam X are like MG AGE 1 Normal and Spallow in Indonesia, almost impossible to find it MIB with a quite normal price.
Even here in America you can't find them for less than $75 if you are lucky
