Those decisions are always tough. Get another arrow in him but potentially spook him or allow him to stay calm and die within sight. Even though the shot was a touch back we thought it was good enough.
Wonder how much effect it has that the caller and the camera guy are within 20' of the shooter. Seems any shooter can make the decision to shoot if everyone is much further away, out of sight. Elk will circle around to get your wind. Love watching all of these but with the entourage I think we are lucky to see anything. Addicted to all hunting videos. It's amazing.

Great hunt kelley. Way to be patient . There is a lot of huge bulls down there . I harvested a 360 6×6 the same year on the other side .

What did it score? Super helpful to know to practice scoring for me…j am thinking 342-355 range. 351 if I’m pinned down to guess.
Great camera work and awesome hunt!. What video camera are you shooting with. We shoot with a Sony, and a Nikon d7200.
That was all shot with a Canon XA20. We've switched since then to Sony A6500
