As someone without a camera would love these for pov videos of just regular life. Comfortable, slick, and really convenient the price is not affordable to anyone not working in a first world country
So cool. I love how you present content in such a natural way. And you appear to be quite a compentent skier. Treat yourself to Rocky Mountain fluff occasionally. Thank you for this.
I don't have a need for these, but its awesome how far tech has come since the original Google Glass. Hopefully in the future we get full recording capabilities past just a minute.
This video hit so many of my interests, and from my favorite TH-cam chef at that. Thanks for the review, enjoyed watching your turns too. Definitely can see where they could be great in certain use cases. Probably not anything Ray Ban would ever do but would be nice if there was a micro camera like these that you could attach to a google strap or whatever. I like to film with an Insta360 X3 attached to a backpack but there is certainly work involved in all the post-processing; different device for a different use. Glad to see the snow out in the PNW is looking good, it's been a terribly mild winter in the Midwest this year.

Limitations are too much for me to invest in one for ski/snowboard. Ideally, I can stream to other sites like TH-cam or Twitch, and have longer videos. It'll probably cost a lot more but definitely would be very nifty
And yet, people can barely hear me through the mic of my apple airpods pro 2 during a call in any setting… Intriguing piece of tech, will be interesting to see how it develops
Yes, I just ordered mine at my nearest Ray Ban store earlier today. Caution though: definitely check with your insurance beforehand how much they'll cover because without coverage the prescription lenses plus transition lenses were quoted to me at €718 euros (here in France). Luckily my insurance is amazing and they're covering €420 so at €298 I feel like they are worth the investment and I'm giddy to try them out when they get here next week.
From the photo I thought you were reviewing comically large joke glasses on the ski slopes. Got a good chuckle out of that!
I’m really glad we got to go skiing today

Im excited that kenji is sharing with us more of the non cooking side of life

not far at all... this one doesn't have any kind of AR capabilities.
Google Glass will end up being like the Palm / old PDAs. A bit too ahead of the curve and the tech wasn't there yet.
Thank you for the "non-fussy" real world use. I get mine on Monday! I can't wait.
Pretty amazed by the quality of the audio coming through, especially given that you’re in motion on a windy slope.
Great review Kenji ! You’re a pretty good skier too !
Really cool to see! Thanks for the practical review
Yooo would love to see some videos on cooking for a group of people on ski trips with airbnb quality equipment

Not sure it is a review. He has Meta contacts giving him support it sounds like.

damn kenji low key kind of shredding those moguls… what can’t this man do?
Lookin' baller my dude
love mine, it's excellent for picking up moments with your kids that you'd miss while picking to your phone
This video made me miss the Mt. Ashland slopes; haven’t been skiing in a minute
Me starting the video: Wow those are pretty neat.
Kenji: They only shoot in vertical.
Me: Never mind.

Hell yea dude

Audio quality is surprisingly good, even when you were moving.
Hi. Do you wear your goggles over the glasses when skiing?
I did this too. And live streamed it. I took a tumble no less than 5 times. Glasses were great though 😂😂😂
If you put the goggles over it can you still record?
The technology today is unbelievable. Thank you for the perfect review. BTW, where are you skiing? The snow looks great.
He said Snoqualmie at the beginning of the video
Dang Kenji going x games mode
I’m blind tho, do they have prescription option?
Kind of a bummer that the transition lenses get dark in what look liked low light conditions
Can you get them as prescription lenses?

What size did you get and how wide is your face if you don’t mind me asking. Thanks
Where do you go skiing in Washington? I've always wanted to go up theere but never been able to.
Snoqualmie is where he said at the start. A bit of a drive outside Seattle
@@DocZecon oh i didn't catch it, thank you
Wow I put up a video and mine is so shaky .
What slope is this?
guys! guys! we still gotta boycott martins burger buns because they spent money on REPUBLICANS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You’ve lost your way Kenji. Unsubscribed.
See ya.
