- This is a mod in a alpha state, and it's still one of the best mods ever made for Doom 2. It's a conversion project made by SGTMarkIV set in the Vietnam War. It has weapons from the conflict, realistic damage, a bleeding mechanic, and tank and helicoptors to use on the battlefield. It's a mod with a lot of potential. But it may be a long while before it gets any further development.

Honestly, it's incredible what SgtMarkIV can do with Zandronum, a Sourceport that's very outdated from a feature standpoint.
He goes through all this, just for the mod to have proper online Coop support.
After getting almost """""ptsd""""" from EDay I could understand a portion of what my grandpa felt. I should give this a try to get a more full experience
Eday ptsd... Are you talking about that hell temple full of tortured marines? Shit was horrifying

That earrape bit at the start was uncalled for, otherwise good video
That earrape, was turned down a few decibels. The actual game itself sound wise, is even worse.
This is why I'm slow to catch up when I get behind in my subs feed, some of you guys keep posting good content and often. Good problem to have, all things considered.
Man, I've been binging the hell outta your videos today, I literally struck gold. That cut after you got blasted with the rocket made me laugh so hard, I read the "TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN" one second before it happened lol.
Dammit. This looks like fun mod. Instantly game a reminder of old Czech game Vietcong ❤
Awesome showcase!
please finish it one day sgtmark 🙏
It looks like the game Nam (Napalm) that was made with the Build engine... and apropos, is there already an opengl or D3d port for Nam as for Duke Nukem?
Shame it was abandoned
I don't think it's been fully abandoned. Just put on hiatus until Brutal Fate is released. I believe Extermination Day is in the same boat (albeit that one is much closer to being considered a full release, and there is a build out now that is pretty much finished, with just some minor bugs to work out).
I honestly would prefer nam
I am trying to do something kind of similar, but set in Ukraine.
That would be interesting. Keep me posted.
