But tracers made by nazis, soviets and chinese usually uses barium, which results in a green hue. The "Red vs. Green" debate is'nt new and there are some Vietnam war veterans around in some forums that can confirm this.

Man, what a great talent you have, I envy you, honestly. Perhaps after finishing this project you can consider working on a Wolfenstein themed mod with all these elements (Tanks, Nazis, WW2 Weaponry, etc) and adding some great maps such as these.

Ok, few ideas for the AI: give them the ability to blind fire, where they stick out just there gun and a little bit of their hand and shoot, not really accurate, like, at all, but its rather hard to them since the hitbox is so small + the fact that there's a bunch of stray bullets coming your way, secondly, have the AI react to the player giving suppressive fire, forcing them into cover, lastly, if the machine gunner is down in a squad, have other riflemen serve the purpose, as a way to give the AI a sense of adaptability. dunno what can and cannot be done, but these were just a few ideas I had pop up in my head. I really like where this is going, can't wait to try it out in the alpha build when it releases.
When you’re designing these new maps with destructible buildings, do you still plan on using the traditional red-blue-yellow key system of OG Doom? Will it still factor into level progression? Do you see that system as a hinderance outside of Doom “tight quarter” environments when you develop or does it help even open maps with lots of buildings like these create a sense of “level structure”? I was just thinking, with destructible environments, what’s the point of rooting around for keys if we can just blow the wall next to the door up? If the key system still applies, how will it factor in to VietDoom as a whole and will you still keep the appearance as skulls or keycards? Thanks for all the mods over the years. The work and time you put into them is not lost on us and it’s inspiring. I fully credit you for reigning my love for old school shooters.
