I occasionally burn lump charcoal in my Nano. I'm not sure of the temperature, but aluminum does melt way before stainless steel. So, a stainless steel washer glued in instead? Question: Will it fold with that. I have had some huge long hot fires in a Nano, I'm guessing the price you pay is for some good quality stainless. Never had a part warp. An off brand stove is a good idea, cheaper, frankly, some perform better than what is sold for it, to clip in. The stove at the bottom should lower the center of gravity, the lower the gas line coming out a good thing, too?
If you just get the firebox gas burner it fits with a sprung cross plate if you drill 4 small holes in your original nano for the nano sticks (two long ones come with the burner) then you don’t interfere with airflow and also get good trangia fixing points too?

Bought the Firebox gas burner a while after making the video. It’s a great piece of kit 👍
